New Darkthrone 🙏🙏 . Man, these guys are just unstoppable...

Tom G could only dream about dropping an album in 2019 that actually had the raw energy of those early Celtic Frost days ☕ .

just a pipe dream ☕

The Living Wall is falling apart—that Sinčić guy is a total joke.
Where does all the money actually go? 🙏 Even when it’s supposedly going to the "honest" folks.

Only the MOST party has any backbone. ☕

The biggest joke lately is that guy Juričan—he basically tried to rename himself Milan Bandić, and now they’ve actually overturned his decision. Talk about peak trolling 🙏

The plan was to wait until the full season dropped.

So—you think it’s a good series?

I finished episode four and I'm moving on to the fifth today. I guess I'm just struggling to understand if the people at the power plant were aware of the radiation levels. It seems strange that the civilians living nearby—and even those choosing to watch the fire—aren't terrified enough to run for their lives given the danger. Or maybe the firefighters are just grabbing that graphite with their bare hands without any real protection.

You’re definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?

Should they have just lost their minds and let everything burn until the whole thing completely imploded?

On top of that, they didn't even realize the reactor had actually blown for quite some time.
The initial assumption was that we were dealing with a much smaller fire.
I highly doubt the firefighters could have identified those pieces of the core immediately; I mean, they look just like any other scrap of construction debris...

If you've got the stomach for it, this guy laid out every single gruesome detail about what went down before, during, and after the whole mess.

Absolute monster.

So many people have absolutely no clue that the Chernobyl plant was still generating radioactively contaminated power for about another 15 years after the meltdown occurred, though obviously at a much lower capacity than usual.

This is absolute gold.
Honestly, it’s far more gripping than those typical Discovery Channel documentaries about these kinds of events...

That’s why you’re like this.

They shouldn't have fled, but those who actually had the chance to get out just stood there watching. Honestly, if you know what's coming, you should just get out.

And what if you actually *do* know what it is?

The series finale does an excellent job illustrating the technical convergence that pushed the reactor toward a meltdown, culminating in the AZ-5 activation where dropping the control rods triggered that final, fatal surge of power. I watched a National Geographic documentary on this years ago, but this production offers a superior, more granular explanation of how byproduct poisons—specifically xenon—contributed to the reactor's descent into instability.
Furthermore, the show places a masterful emphasis on the contemporary establishment and the mindset of those within the decision-making chain; the way they bypassed safety protocols in favor of personal ambition and systemic corruption created a perfect storm of circumstances that fueled a catastrophic chain reaction.

The series is expertly crafted, with the score providing a distinct tonal texture. In actual history, however, these specific events did not repeat themselves.

I suppose I was just surprised that I didn't notice anyone fleeing as a precaution. I have no complaints; I watched the series and it's fine, though the final episode explains things exactly as my colleague mentioned. People on the internet are claiming there will be a second season—though I doubt it—and I guess I'm not sure what they would even add to it.

:maloopolitici:

Bunjčeva's greed and Pernarov's massive ego basically nuked the whole coalition. 😵

I'm with you on the GOP—it's pretty obvious once you filter out the noise from the radical wings of both parties.
