Look, I get it—indie bands are great and all... but Coachella isn't exactly some small-town indie circuit fest. It’d be nice if they actually shook things up and booked some heavier hitters, you know? Throw in some Skindred, Rise Against, or even the Foo Fighters once in a while.

High schoolers and college students—regardless of which network you're on—can snag tickets for just $97 during the promo period, running until April 14th, 2011, or whenever they sell out. Tickets are limited. High school kids can get them for $97 by showing their ID and a school enrollment verification, while students need to flash their ID along with an x-ice, university transcript, or a valid student ID.

Just a heads-up: over at the T-Center in Indianapolis, they completely stiffed a high schooler who actually had his school verification. Their "helpful" advice? Just find a college student to buy it for you instead. 🙄

Look, if I were you, I’d just give them a polite nod and tell them straight up that they're being idiots. Tell them you'll be taking this right to their management. They can go hunt for students all they want and do whatever they feel like with them... assuming it's even legal, of course.
