Sophia Campbell73 said:Like I mentioned before, I've been dealing with psoriasis for about 15 years now. For a long time, it was just the classic spots on my elbows, knees, and shins, plus maybe a few random patches here and there. Back then, my scalp wasn't hit too hard.
But lately, it’s spread to my stomach, my back, and my face. Since my scalp isn't the main issue anymore, it mostly shows up along my hairline, my full head, and my neck.
The only time it almost completely cleared up was during my first pregnancy, about 9 years ago. I barely used any creams at all, and my skin was totally clear (except for my head). Just to be clear, that pregnancy was super high-risk and stressful from start to finish.

Hmm, this sounds exactly like what I'm going through...🤔

At least it was like that until I got pregnant... since I don't have kids yet... so, maybe it'll clear up for me when I conceive too? 🙏 🙏

I'm heading to the coast soon, so I'll try to get some sun and see if that helps! 😁 😛

I’ve been wondering lately why there isn't any sort of central meetup spot or an organized support group specifically for psoriasis here in New York City... I mean, does anyone think there's a real chance that those of us living in the NYC area could just step up and get something started ourselves? Let’s actually try to pull this together! I know for a fact that people in other major US cities have already gotten their acts together and have these super active associations running, so it makes me wonder why we in the New York metro area can't do the exact same thing and maybe make life just a little bit easier while dealing with this nasty condition...👍

It would make life a lot easier dealing with this nasty condition.👍

Unfortunately, I can tell you that in New York City, there's actually a club for people with psoriasis, and they have a huge membership. They seem really well-organized and social. They even hosted a two-day seminar recently with specialists from various fields, followed by a big dinner and a dance. The whole thing took place in a massive ballroom right in the heart of the city.

Hope that helps with your idea a bit. If you need it, I might be able to track down a contact number for someone on their board.

Best.

Gregory Mendoza3, glad to see you back on the forum!
Reading your story, it’s clear you’ve been through the ringer—talk about walking through fire.
Thank God, and honestly, thanks to modern medicine too, that you're still standing with us. At the end of the day, who we thank matters less than the fact that you're actually here.
We've got plenty of time, so let's take it slow and unpack everything piece by piece. Your raw, honest take on the illness and how you handled treatment deserves that kind of deep dive.

Warmest wishes to you and your family!

There are over 700 known subtypes of psoriasis out there. So, let’s just assume there are 700 different ways to clear it up using the exact same treatment. Don't expect your journey to look anything like someone else's.

ERYTHEMATOSQUAMOUS DERMATOSES consist of 7 primary and 5 specific forms of psoriasis.
I don't think I need to list them all out, but hey, if you really want me to, just say the word.
If someone is dealing with psoriasis and picks up another condition on top of it, stop slapping subtype labels on everything. Dermatology has already clearly drawn those lines.

Saying there are over 700 known subtypes of psoriasis? That's just plain nonsense.😵 😵 😵 😵

Stop trying to defend the indefensible.👎

If you felt the need to update the forum members about what happened with Gregory Mendoza3, then you should have done it.
To me, staying quiet like that just looks like running away from the truth.👎

Gregory Mendoza3, I am seriously so glad you’re back in the fold with us—it’s really good to see you pushing through those rough patches and coming out the other side.

Chris Morgan67, thanks again for that tip about the oil. Honestly, it’s been a total game-changer for my skin; everything is looking way better lately.

Sending my best to you and Robert Clark2
as well as everyone else hanging out here on the forum.

Hi everyone,

Take a look at Josanick Banja.
A close friend of mine has been visiting there for years, and he's completely cleared up his psoriasis. I can't say exactly how much it helped him, but The Evening News just ran a feature on Josanick Banja claiming it's one of the premier spots for treating psoriasis in the entire region...
It's definitely worth a shot. I'm planning to spend seven days there first, then head down to the Atlantic coast.
All the best!

What's the deal with these Hot Springs? Is it some kind of naphtha thing? Based on their website, it looks like a spa or a health retreat. Is this all just a commercial operation? I could use some more info on the specifics—what they actually do, how it works, costs, and all that good stuff.

To be honest, I’ve passed through Hot Springs hundreds of times over the years, staying there quite a bit. It’s right at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
I have tons of buddies and friends in that area. They all know I struggle with generalized psoriasis, but nobody ever mentions it as a way to cure it.
I don't want to jump to conclusions about the quality of the facility, so I'm going to make some calls tomorrow. I'll even send a friend straight to the site to check out the treatment quality firsthand.

I'll post everything I find out tomorrow night.

Best,👍

God bless my fellow psoriasis warriors and supporters! It's me again, back on the mainland for a quick visit, and after catching up on the last few posts, I must admit I’m feeling a bit uneasy. I've been applying this ointment for about eight or nine days now, and I can actually see changes in my skin. It’s thinned out quite a bit, the itching has subsided, and in some spots, it has faded completely. All in all, I’m feeling pretty positive and sense we're moving in the right direction. Before I started using this stuff, things were looking rather grim—my hips and shins were covered about 30% of the time, my stomach (specifically where those "Baywatch" actors keep their abs) was over 50%, my forearms, upper arms, and shoulders were around 20%, the edges of my scalp too, and my back and glutes were at 15-20%. For now, I’m just focusing on my legs, stomach, and arms since they're the easiest to reach, while treating the rest with standard lotions. I have photos from a few months ago, so if things improve significantly, I’ll post them on the site as a "before and after."
After reading Gregory Mendoza3's recent posts, I'm honestly stuck on what to do next. I can see the ointment "works," but if there have been more cases of allergic reactions or even poisoning, I certainly wouldn't want to subject myself to that. In the beginning, I dealt with intense itching, which has since calmed down, but I haven't experienced any other side effects. To be fair, the scent bothered me at first, but I've grown accustomed to it. However, there seems to be a certain lack of harmony between Michael Ramos3's devotion to God and the fact that he kept us (the forum visitors and users of the cream) in the dark about what happened to Octom! I understand his need for cash—he's got "chocolate to buy for the kids"—but the thought that I might be someone's guinea pig isn't particularly fun. It would be only fair if he disclosed whether the ointment contains anything beyond herbal extracts; he doesn't need to reveal the exact ratios—he has every right to keep his secrets—but it is vital for all of us to know if there's an allergen in there that could cause harm!
As for me, I plan to keep applying it because I am seeing progress, but after hearing about Octom's experience, the idea of advertising or recommending this to anyone else is completely off the table. Perhaps one should treat the affected areas bit by bit, maybe ventilate the room more, or perhaps use plastic wrap occlusion to reduce evaporation and help penetration... these are all questions that it seems Michael Ramos3 either doesn't have answers to or simply chooses not to answer, despite the fact that this is his livelihood! I feel terribly for Octom risking his health, but it serves as a massive warning to all of us. I ask that anyone else who has had similar issues please speak up, and Michael Ramos3, please let us know if anyone else has suffered adverse effects from using your product! Robert Clark2 says to Michael Ramos3. Look, if you were actually going to give the rest of us a heads-up about the mess Octom was in, you really should have done it.
To me, keeping people in the dark like that just feels like running away from the truth.

Sure, but hiding it keeps the profit margins from taking a hit during the sale!!!!!

Sophia Campbell73 said:Gregory Mendoza3, I am truly glad you're back with us after such difficult times.

Chris Morgan67, thanks for the advice regarding the oils. They have worked wonders for my skin; everything looks significantly better.>

Greetings to you and Bob
and to all the other members...

It is wonderful news.👍

I should probably share my own progress—my psoriasis is currently dormant. I only have a few small red spots on my stomach, but otherwise, my skin is smooth, without any scaling or redness.

And I managed all of this without any miracle ointments or medications...>

Even though I'm currently under quite a bit of stress with college finals, sticking to regular showers, using oils, and resisting the urge to scratch has completely revitalized my skin. I'm very pleased with the results.
I'm heading to the coast in two weeks, so I expect things might improve even further...👍 👍

Best wishes to everyone.🙂

rapidpanther41 said:Robert Clark2 says to Michael Ramos3. If you were going to let everyone here know what kind of shape Octom was in, you really should have.
I see that kind of behavior as nothing more than running away from the truth.

Sure, but it cuts right into the sales profits!!!!!

🙂 Yeah, it definitely hits the sales. That much is a given.

BUT THAT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE RISK OF SOMEONE GETTING HURT, because of unverified claims (it's just a game to some).
TALK ABOUT BRAVERY—OR (I can't even find the right word for it) when he actually went out on a limb and posted about experimenting on Korkyre222’s son to try to cure neurodermatitis, or allergic dermatitis. I reacted, and the moderator did too.

Stay safe and take care!👍

P.S.

I promised last night I'd run some checks on Hot Springs today, but it totally slipped my mind that it's Sunday. I'll get on it tomorrow.

Robert Clark2, typing in all caps online feels like shouting at everyone!
I really think we should try using other ways to emphasize text, like bolding or italics—plus, we have colors available too! 😉
Thanks 🙂

Michael Ramos3 said:Since there aren't any side effects with your kid, I say just keep applying it! Even after the rash fades, keep massaging the area. Think about it—if the issue is still lurking under the surface, keeping up the routine might create that necessary continuity. It could slow down how fast it pops up again or weaken the intensity while it's still under the skin.
I figure we have nothing to lose and everything to gain here.
I’m calling on everyone else here to weigh in. Since this is the first time anyone is testing this ointment on this specific condition, let's hear your thoughts.

Hard work, faith, and persistence always pay off in the end.

With faith in God,

Best,

There you go—read it and decide for yourselves. Experiment at your own risk! I'm heading out for a swim.👋 👋

Honestly, our favorite little darling is always here with his sage advice. You really ought to check in more often so us villains don't try to start something on our own again. It helps keep a guy grounded—once he sees you're gone, he might just think he can 🙂 🙂

I honestly don't think we need to dwell on what Michael Ramos3 has achieved anymore... the sheer volume of comments regarding his remedy speaks volumes about its "miraculous" nature.
