Look, ladies... we aren't here to tear each other apart... we’ve all been through the exact same ringer at one point or another. We're actually here to swap info and hopefully lend a hand to someone who's struggling right now.
Honestly, I don't buy the idea that Matthew Turner4's post is some kind of shill job. I feel the exact same way, so I totally get where they're coming from. It feels like everything turns into a "sponsored ad" the second someone starts praising a doctor, but what about all those people who spend their time trashing one? Maybe they're just working for the competition? 😁

Anyway, it would be great if we could just drop the bickering and actually focus on why this thread was even started in the first place. 😍

Matthew Turner4 said:Lies? Is this all just straight-up lies?... I can't really get into this one without seeing what you're talking about... the link isn't giving me much to work with. If there's something specific in that video you want my take on, just say so. Otherwise, I'm just staring at a blank screen here...

I checked that out the second I saw his page—along with everything else. Every single little detail...

If you all claim to be so damn satisfied, then why aren't you showing off your gear? Where are the photos, seriously...? 😁 Only rustygardener172 actually showed me her nose, and honestly... it's gorgeous. 👍

Ashley Young34 said:I went with Dr. Glusac, and that’s that. Just because things worked out for me doesn't mean he’s the right fit for everyone else—it's not a one-size-fits-all situation. So, please, stop trying to shove these recommendations down our throats...☕

Signature. 🙏

Megan Moore76 said:So, I guess everyone over at Dr. 90210 was just walking around traumatized or something... 😁

What’s the deal with the noses these surgeons work on? Do they actually look "undamaged" afterward? I don't know... the only one I managed to sit through without feeling faint was Dr. Glusac's—and honestly, it didn't look half bad at all. Usually, just watching these things makes me feel a bit lightheaded...

To be honest, Matthew Turner4's post doesn't read like an advertisement to me; I feel exactly the same way, so I get where they're coming from. It seems like people call something an "ad" whenever someone praises a doctor, but what about those who constantly tear one down? Perhaps they're just competitors. 😁

In any case, it would be great if we could stop the back-and-forth and focus on why this thread was even started in the first place. 😍

I'm with rustygardener172 on this, so I think I'll step away from the forum for a bit.
It's clear that some of my posts have been taken as advertisements, but I promise you, they aren't. I paid for my surgery out of my own pocket. I suppose I was just perhaps a bit too vocal about my enthusiasm since I'm still riding the high—I used to look like Cyrano, but now I'm constantly getting compliments and feeling beautiful. Maybe it's also my personality, as I tend to be quite disciplined and straightforward. Plus, I'm 30, so I might be older than most of you, which could account for the disconnect.
Anyway, good luck to everyone undergoing surgery, regardless of which doctor you choose!
Over and out!

Apparently, my posts look like ads to some people, but they aren't. I paid for my own surgery. Maybe I was just too intense about how much I love it since the results still blow my mind—I used to look like Cyrano, but now I'm getting compliments left and right. Maybe it's my personality, too; I've always been pretty blunt and Spartan. Plus, I'm 30, so I'm probably older than most of you, which might be why we aren't clicking.
Anyway, good luck to everyone getting surgery, whoever your doctor is!
Over and out!

...speaking of age, I think I'm the oldest here, but it doesn't matter. I just want to lower the tension. I don't need to force myself into spaces where I don't belong. I got my surgery done and I'm happy with it. If anyone actually needs advice, hit me up in a private message.🙂

I’m done commenting. 🤷 And Greeneyes, glad you're happy if you really did look like Cyrano before... 😁

P.S. Pretty in pink, can you get back to me on my DM? Thanks.

I wouldn't say I fainted from beauty when I saw myself without the bandages. I just thought, "I look like Nellie the Elephant." I know some girls here mentioned crying because they felt their noses looked like piggies, but that wasn't really my experience. I feel more like an elephant, and honestly, I’d much rather be a piggy.
Anyway, I don't think it's the doctor's fault; the truth is I'm just incredibly swollen, and maybe my expectations were a bit unrealistic to begin with. From what I can see, the doctor stuck to our plan and respected everything we discussed, so once the swelling goes down, it should be fine. Until then, I guess I'll just keep shouting:

Go Away!! 😳

Dr. Zgaljardic does an amazing job with these braces. 🙏 If he lived closer, I’d definitely be going to him too...

I just wanted to say one thing to anyone who picks a surgeon, only to go online later and find people trashing them, which leads to total panic and second-guessing... my little piece of advice would be: TRUST YOURSELF!!! Listen to your own gut and instinct rather than all the hearsay out there.
I mean, you can probably tell for yourself if a doctor actually earns your trust or not.

Suddenly you're spiraling, panicking, and completely paralyzed because you don't know what move to make next... My honest, friendly advice? TRUST YOURSELF!!! Listen to your gut and that inner voice, not some random internet hearsay.
At the end of the day, you're the one who can tell if a doctor actually earns your trust or not.

See, I told you. 😁 Bravo, look at me being all smart and stuff. 😍

If you're twisting my words, let's get this straight—I never trashed any doctors, and honestly, I haven't seen anyone attacking Dr. Glusac lately either. Just Chillax. ☕

That's not even what I meant. I'm talking about her second-guessing herself by choosing Dr. Ostojic despite all those crappy posts floating around about him on this forum...
Honestly, shame on you, you aren't paying any attention at all 😉 😛

shame on you, you clearly aren't paying attention 😉 😛

And what do I know... everywhere I go, I just cause a mess. 🤣

John Newman2, once you're done being Nellie, can you send me a pic via DM?🙂

Honestly, stormyharbor2, I think rustygardener172 made a good point. A few other ladies on here were telling me to just walk away and not take any risks, but I guess I stayed true to myself and my decision, which turned out to be the right call anyway.
As for the photos, sure—just send me your email.

Not really, though. 😁 You get all sorts—some people coming in for a second surgery because their previous doctor completely botched it, but there are plenty more who are just picky about tiny details and are going in for their first one.

I found watching open surgery super gross at first—it's definitely stomach-turning—but it’s way easier to stomach than breast augmentation and silicone implants, right? 😲 I haven't been able to watch those without covering my eyes yet; I basically just squint and peek through my fingers. 😂

@John Newman2, glad everything went okay and you aren't regretting it. 🙂 I'd love to see a photo whenever you feel up to sharing! Sending you an email via PM.

Honestly, I felt the exact same way about my old nose. It was totally fine with me, you know? But now? I don't know, it’s just like someone gave it a little touch-up to make it look a bit more polished. It's definitely "prettier" now, if that's even what matters. 😁
