Terry Green3 said:So, what’s our "braggart neighbor" actually doing to prep for the vote on kicking Russia out of the UN Security Council?

A country that starts throwing nuclear threats around definitely shouldn't be sitting at the table in the UN Security Council.

Even former colonies in Central Asia have basically ditched China.

All they've got left is that clown Lukashenko and the Assad regime.

The West’s predictions about not using nukes actually make some sense if you think about it. But the other side? They aren't playing by our rules; they're following a different kind of logic entirely. Honestly, sending troops into Ukraine would have been a total non-starter anyway. Everyone saw that coming.

How much can anyone really think about their country's future when their own life is on the line? Especially when they've got a button that decides whether everything survives or goes up in smoke.

Terry Green3 said:Only one small thing. We in Europe, North America, and Russia aren't the entire world. Those three sides would be completely wiped out.

But Africa, South America, and most of Asia would survive.
The whole world doesn't revolve around us Westerners. The Fallout would be horrific, but groups of people in remote areas would make it through.

Maybe it's finally time, after WWI and WWII, for us to just finish the job and destroy ourselves once and for all, giving the rest of the world a chance to breathe outside the grip of the Indo-European warrior culture.

Unlike the rest of humanity, which just loves drumming up kids to charge bayonets.

Maybe he's thinking about Arabs—they're a bit more peaceful, I guess.

Everyone was surprised except for the Americans. They pretty much called the invasion before it even started. Actually, they didn't just guess; they knew. They went public with the fact that they’d been warning Ukrainians to gear up for an attack for a year, but people only started listening once the maniac began massing troops. It's a good thing they did, otherwise Kyiv would have fallen. When the US starts warning that Russia might use nuclear weapons, you should probably pay attention.
Leaks are happening all over The Kremlin.

Fair enough, wearycanyon29. If you're really convinced America has everything under control.

But let's be real—they aren't perfect. They botched their last two major interventions and basically left some of their allies out to dry.
If they made a mistake like that here, it could be fatal for a lot of people in Europe.
I don't fully trust them, mostly because they're so far away, and honestly, isn't it just human nature to look out for yourself first?

By dropping a nuke, the Russians are just cutting themselves off from the rest of the world. It’s like they're saying, "Hey, you Americans, Slovaks, and Poles—you're next on the list."

They’re living pretty comfortably, sure, but they realize they have to sow seeds of discord across Eurasia; otherwise, if we actually managed to get our act together on this side of the world, they’d find themselves playing second fiddle.

Just send a few hundred thousand refugees their way through some "intervention," and boom—you've got instant chaos within the European Union.

People are dying in droves over there. If the lives—or maybe even the freedom—of the main players are on the line, they'll definitely take the risk and go nuclear. At that point, who cares how China reacts? Blah blah blah...

Regarding Gaddafi... it is easy to claim superiority by pointing to someone even worse. If that provides them comfort, fine.
However, it is common knowledge that Gaddafi maintained an operational nuclear arsenal and wasn't just busy sponsoring terrorism at Berlin discos or blowing up commercial airliners on scheduled routes.

Unlike what happened with Gaddafi, it’s actually pretty plausible that Putin could be offered a way out, like asylum in China. The thing is, when you combine stolen billions with global influence and a massive ego, most dictators aren't exactly itching to settle for a life in hiding.

Flags featuring portraits of Chechen leaders are being waved right in the middle of Moscow ☕—it’s nothing more than a staged performance where the regime shuttles buses full of people in just to manufacture support for the government. This is exactly what Putin has been doing for years, using the same old playbook that Maddox used back in the 90s in Mexico.

There is also a permanent Chechen presence in Moscow. Their specific role within the capital became painfully obvious following the assassination of the German

They’re saying those who were drafted by mistake can actually head back home,

"The Governor of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, has issued direct orders to strictly follow President Vladimir Putin’s decree regarding partial mobilization and to send home any citizens who were mistakenly called up for service. This was officially posted on the Yakutia government website.

According to Nikolayev, since September 21st, officials in Yakutia have been working overtime to implement the partial mobilization decree.

He pointed out that they are currently busy fixing mistakes where people who shouldn't be involved are being summoned.

To give you an idea of the mess, he mentioned cases where unauthorized civilians were mobilized, and even instances where fathers with four kids under sixteen were getting called up.

The republic's leader called these blunders totally unacceptable and promised that "anyone called up by mistake will be sent back."

I find it hard to believe that Russia doesn't have at least a few million NEW Kalashnikovs just sitting in storage...

Honestly, this looks like a total fake video to me.

I have to admit, I was deeply, profoundly unsettled by these increasingly frequent announcements regarding nuclear strikes. It’s directed at a much smaller, less equipped nation—one without any nuclear capabilities that hasn't even attacked them. Honestly, it borders on pure madness. Russia needs to be incredibly cautious about its next moves; they are teetering right on the edge of the same line Hitler crossed, the one that led his people toward total ruin and eternal disgrace.

Constant threats involving nuclear weapons simply cannot come from people with sound minds. Russia has already crossed certain lines that should remain untouched. So much damage has been done, and now their absolute priority really ought to be de-escalating this conflict—perhaps even keeping some occupied territories just so they don't emerge looking like complete losers to their own people. If they persist with this threatening tone, the world might get dragged into it, or maybe not, but Russia will certainly suffer; there isn't a single scenario where they come out as winners. Their only viable path left is to take those occupied regions and just stop the fighting. Ukraine is the loser here, but if things escalate further, the losses will be even more catastrophic. And the USA? Well, the USA remains that messy player involved in everything; they lost their reputation a long time ago anyway, but even they aren't going to play games with nuclear weapons.

Europe is, unfortunately, a bit of a lost cause at this point, and nobody truly knows what they'll do or how they'll handle what comes next. As for us, we need to focus exclusively on our own business and just wash our hands of the whole mess.

I just love it when these "neutral" and "unbiased" forum users show up, acting all high and mighty while basically cheering on the aggressors and rewarding them for their behavior.
