I’m right there with you, Eric Fox7. I’m fully expecting the favorites to get absolutely crushed tonight, so I’m leaning heavily toward an upset win or at least a draw. Definitely playing the 1x option 😉

Olympiakos to win by 1 goal - 1.70? (1-0)

Look, Olympiakos has been an absolute fortress lately—they’ve only lost one home game in their last 40 or so matches, and honestly, that was way back in September 2013 against PSG. They even took down Atletico Madrid at home! Plus, over the last few years, they've been killing it in the Champions League on their own turf—wins against Arsenal, Manchester City, Dortmund... you name it. On the other side, Juventus is in a decent spot given how they looked last season, but let's be real—they'd probably settle for a draw at this point.

Eric Fox7 said:I’d honestly just go straight with a single unit here (just so we aren't staring at a 0-5 halftime score 🤣). The odds are mouth-watering—BetMGM and DraftKings have them at +350—because the visitors are playing like absolute psychos right now. No clue how they pulled off those two wins in the Conference League. G

Easy there... Dortmund is playing incredible football... they just can't finish. To prove my point, I looked up their shots on target this season:

Leverkusen 11(7) - 0 goals
Augsburg 22(11) - 3 goals
Freiburg 15(11) - 3 goals
Mainz 20(8) - 0 goals
Stuttgart 25(17) - 2 goals
Schalke 17(6) - 1 goal
HSV 17(10) - 0 goals
Cologne 16(10) - 1 goal

Arsenal 24(7) - 2 goals
Anderlecht 18(10) - 3 goals

They'll find the net eventually, and then they'll absolutely take off this season... might even start tonight. ☕

Liverpool vs. Real Madrid (Oct 22, 8:45 PM) 2 @ 2.00 (0-3)
Liverpool/vs Real Madrid (Oct 22, 8:45 PM) Yes @ 1.95
Ronaldo C. (idg) vs Liverpool/Real Madrid (Oct 22, 8:45 PM) Yes @ 1.80- Liverpool just coming off a match against QPR where even Rodgers admitted they didn't really earn the win; ever since Suarez left, this isn't quite the same Liverpool side that was actually contending for the Premier League title last season. On the other hand, you have Real Madrid, who bolstered their midfield with Kroos—and frankly, he’s been a more significant upgrade than Alonso ever was. Liverpool is feeling the absence of Sturridge, which is a massive blow to their lineup, whereas Real can lean on James or Isco to fill the void left by Bale. As for how "solid" the Real defense actually is, one only needs to look at the goals they conceded against Ludogorets and Basel; if those teams found a way through, I suspect Liverpool will manage to find a gap as well. Every headline is focused on Ronaldo, and rightfully so—with El Clasico looming, he’s chasing down Raul’s record of 71 Champions League goals. He’s scored against everyone under the sun, yet he has never managed to find the net at Anfield, which I imagine provides him with plenty of personal motivation. Since joining Real, he’s netted 54 goals in just 53 Champions League appearances... plus, he’s scored in each of his last nine away matches... ☕

Freiburg 15(11) - 3 goals

Stuttgart 25(17) - 2 goals

Hamburg 17(10) - 0 goals
Cologne 16(10) - 1 goal

The luck will turn eventually, and then we'll see their real surge this season... maybe it happens tonight.☕

I’ve watched them a few times this season, and frankly, I wasn't impressed by their play.
Sure, the attack is decent enough, but it isn't what we saw in previous years—more importantly, the defense is a disaster. They’re all over the place and giving up far too many chances.

Red Bull Salzburg vs. Dinamo Chicago: Both teams to score at 1.65
over 2.5 goals at 1.90 (4-2)

Look, Red Bull was basically one foot out the door of the Champions League after they scraped a 2-1 win over Malmo at home; they looked incredible in everything else, but then Malmo came to town and absolutely demolished them 3-0, leaving the Americans from Austria without a spot in Europe's elite for the seventh straight time. I saw them as Europa League finalists last season, but they choked in the semis, and once that Malmo loss hit, the whole squad spiraled into a massive crisis—they went on a four-game winless skid with three losses and a draw. But man, things flipped fast! They went from that slump to crushing teams like an absolute machine, destroying a local side 12-1 in the cup, then beating Rapid 2-1, Astra 2-1, Metro Stars 4-1, and Ried 4-2. This offensive powerhouse is facing Dinamo today, led by Soriano, who’s already racked up 20 goals this season, plus you've got Alan, who was their top scorer in Europe last year. On the flip side, Dinamo has been having a stellar season so far; they've got 3 points after two games in the Europa League, though they easily could've had 6 if they hadn't just barely edged Celtic 1-0 in Glasgow. In their domestic league, they’re sitting pretty at first place, undefeated, and that Glasgow loss was actually only their third setback across all competitions in 24 matches. Dinamo has only failed to score three times, and they've conceded at least one goal in 9 of their last 12 outings.
If you're looking at betting on goals, Salzburg is even more reliable; they've conceded in 11 of their last 12 games, but they've put up 30 goals in their last 9 (which is about 18 in 8 games if you ignore the blowout cup game against a lower-tier side). Across all competitions, they've scored in 21 of their 23 matches, and they’ve been scoring like crazy in the league, dropping 43 goals through just 12 rounds.
Even though Cop didn't make the trip to Salzburg today, they'll have Henriquez starting alongside Soudani and Wilson, so I honestly think Dinamo can find the back of the net against a Salzburg defense that is clearly not their strong suit. And let's be real, Dinamo's defense isn't exactly a fortress either, so even without that factor, I'm feeling confident they'll concede something today.

Lille vs. Everton: Everton to score at 1.40 (0-0)
Even though the English side is heading to Lille significantly weakened, I still see a real chance for them to walk away with a point or better. They’re missing heavy hitters like Naismith and Osman, who stayed home in England, and while Lukaku will likely start on the bench, Eto'o should be leading the line. The rest of the squad is pretty much business as usual, and I think they have enough firepower to cover for the absence of Naismith and potentially Lukaku if he comes off the bench. Lille is in absolute terrible shape right now—they’ve only managed two wins in their last ten games, they're sitting 8th in the league, and they’ve conceded in 7 of their last 10 matches. Everton’s attack has been firing all season, but they just haven't been able to get their defense together. However, they finally broke through on Saturday with a clean 3-0 win over Aston Villa, proving they can definitely threaten Lille today. They have 4 points after two rounds, and it's obvious they want to make a splash in the Europa League. Plus, they've got about 5,500 fans traveling to France, so they’ll be playing with pure emotion rather than overthinking it—which is huge because the Europa League is usually full of people being way too tactical. The English side has scored in 14 of their 16 games this season (10 of 11 competitive ones), averaging 2 goals per game in the league and 2.5 in the Europa League. I truly believe they can score against a Lille side this bad, and honestly, they might even pull off the win.

I caught somewhere that things are a total disaster over in Austria—the pitch is basically a lake... honestly, there's no guarantee they'll even play at all.

And if they do decide to go through with it, playing on a waterlogged field? I’d personally steer clear of both teams.

SV Grödig vs. RB Salzburg f2 @ 1.90 (2-2)

Man, after that total shocker getting knocked out by Malmö and feeling pretty sluggish for the last month, Salzburg is back to being that absolute juggernaut they were last winter—remember when they absolutely smoked Bayern 3-0? Seriously, let's have some fun tonight against Dinamo... they already tore through Astra and completely outclassed Celtic, so why not?

In the MLS, things are still pretty neck-and-neck with Wolfsburg, but now that these guys are actually playing with some rhythm, it's about time they pull away from the pack

Grödig crushed it 8-0 back in August, and honestly, I have no clue how they’re going to avoid a similar blowout this Sunday

I'm thinking Salzburg is just gonna ride this momentum all the way through until the winter break

Where have you all vanished to? 🙂
After dealing with the absolute headache of those tennis simulators, I’m looking to pivot toward soccer. 🙂

Los Angeles vs. New York City
LA started things off on a rough note with two losses, while NYC is sitting on a win and a draw—though both teams are playing at home here. Both sides were involved in high-scoring affairs during the first two rounds. Consequently, I’m leaning toward some goal-heavy options: maybe Over 2.5 or even Over 3.5. In recent seasons, LA has consistently handled NYC at home, usually resulting in a high-scoring affair. Because of that, a straight home win is also on my radar. Perhaps a 1 and Over 3.5 combo.
What are your thoughts on this one?

PSG vs. Atlanta United X2 @ 2.50 (3-0)

So, looking at this matchup, PSG is going to be without Cavani after that red card, and I’m not entirely sure what the deal is with Ibrahimović’s injury, but I’m guessing he’s out too. Without their two biggest stars, winning might be a stretch for them. They also look a little winded, maybe, since they just came off a heavy Champions League game. As for Atlanta United, they’re having a solid season. If they can just tighten up the defense, they might actually hold their own against the home team. PSG has swept the last five meetings between these two, so I suppose it’s about time Atlanta broke that streak and walked away with at least a point.

13:50 Al Ittihad Kalba vs. Al Jazeera Over 2.5 goals @ 1.75 (0-4) (Parlay, honestly not sure if anyone else even has this line available)

Look, I don't know the first thing about these clubs—and frankly, the only reason "Al Jazeera" rings a bell for me is because of the news network—but I was just scrolling through the stats and noticed something interesting. Their games seem to be absolute goal fests lately. Out of their last nine matches, eight of them saw three or more goals scored. Even looking at this season specifically, they’ve put up 26 goals in just seven games... that’s a wild average of nearly four per match. And the away side isn't exactly playing defense either, dropping 24 goals over seven outings.

But here's the kicker—the stat that actually caught my eye—every single head-to-head matchup between these two has cleared the Over 2.5 mark. We're talking 38 goals across 8 meetings, which averages out to almost five goals per game. Pretty crazy when you think about it.

Btw, just a heads up, this is happening in the UAE 🙂

Nice—so I guess we’ll see them testing out that 4+ lineup in the first half and maybe even pushing for 6+ during the game itself. 🙂

Lincoln City vs. Alfreton Town - Oct 28, 8:45 PM - f+2@1.40 (5-1)

I’m not sure if I’m being too late to the party here, but... maybe? If you can call it that. Just bear with me and look at the Lincoln City handicap. It feels right. I mean, with both of their keepers sidelined by injury, and those rigid FA Cup rules where you can only use the same lineup from the first match for a replay... things get messy. Alfreton might actually have to throw an outfield player into the net. 🙂

Bayern vs. Dortmund: Over 2.5 goals + 2.00 odds for a 2-1 scoreline

The German "El Clasico"

Honestly, Dortmund is solid—they just haven't had much luck in the Bundesliga lately. I'm expecting that luck to swing back their way soon, even if it's just by a single goal margin.
I caught the whole game against Hannover this past Saturday, and man, once they conceded in the 60th minute, they just completely fell apart. It was a total meltdown—lost at least six straight—and Reus looked totally lost during three of them.
They’re definitely playing a bit worse than last season, for sure, but I don't think it's a massive drop-off.

Bayern looks sharp though! I'm expecting them to push at least two goals against a tough opponent. That recent blunder against those guys from Gladbach? Yeah, I doubt we'll see a repeat of that anytime soon.

12:00 LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders draw +3 @ 2.05 (Parlay) (2-2)

Quarterfinal matchup in the US Open Cup—and we’re looking at two of the hottest teams in MLS right now. The Galaxy have picked up two wins and a loss, while the visitors are sitting pretty with 7 points in their recent stretch.
Both sides have been absolutely clinical in front of the net lately—though, to be fair, they aren't exactly keeping clean sheets either. We're talking an average of over three goals per match between them—if you factor in the Cup run, where the Galaxy have netted 17 in 5 games and Seattle has put up 22 in 5—so this pick feels like the most logical play to me. Historically, their head-to-head matchups haven't always been shootouts, but since this is the Cup and not the regular season grind, things feel a bit more loose. It's the first round of this bracket, so I'm expecting a more relaxed vibe with plenty of openings—and, naturally, plenty of goals. It's a single-elimination setup, and the Galaxy are playing at home.

The odds should be available for live betting too.

São Paulo vs. Emelec: Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.70 (SS) (4-2)

Honestly, the odds here are just too juicy to pass up—it’s the opening leg of the quarter-finals, and we’ve got São Paulo facing off against Emelec. Now, São Paulo is absolutely flying right now—they're right in the thick of the title race, trailing the leaders by just five points—while Emelec isn't exactly sleeping either, having just knocked out Goiás. And man, Emelec is a wild bunch; they’ve been averaging an insane four goals per game in their league. Sure, the Brazilians haven't been getting into high-scoring shootouts lately, but that’s hardly a new trend for them if you look back a bit.

I’ve got this gut feeling—call it a hunch, whatever—that we’re looking at a total blowout or at least a crazy high-scoring affair.

The match will be available for live betting as well.

1. Looking at their recent history, the last four or five head-to-head matchups have all gone over 2.5 goals, which is really the only reason I'm even considering this one.
2. In their last nine or ten meetings, both teams managed to score in almost every single instance.
3. It’s much the same pattern as my previous picks; over the last seven games, both sides scored, and six out of those seven ended in a 1-1 draw, so I thought it might be worth a little attempt here. PiK X@1.87 (1-0/2-0)
