FC Luzern-Grasshoppers over 2.5 @ 1.72 (Unibet) & over 3 @ 2.15 (Pinnacle) (3-3)

Grasshoppers kicked off this season with Pierluigi Tammi taking the reins. Even though he played as a defender back in his playing days, his coaching philosophy is clearly all about outscoring the opponent rather than sitting back and defending. It’s absolute madness—they've seen 37 goals fly into nets in just 7 league games (that's an insane 5.3 per match!), and if you throw in their cup match, we're looking at 42 goals in 8 outings! That attacking trio of Tarashaj-Dabbur-Ravet-Caio is firing on all cylinders, fueled by veteran service from Kallstro and Bašić. Dabbur has been on the radar of big European clubs for ages now, but for the moment, he's still tearing it up with Grasshoppers. This high-octane, attack-first style of football has become a massive hit with the American fans watching them, propelling them to 2nd place, though they're trailing FC Basel by 5 points.
Now, FC Luzern is a side that has spent years hovering in the top half of the table, but breaking into that elite tier alongside teams like FC Basel is a massive mountain to climb (pretty much the same struggle the visitors face). They’re currently sitting in 3rd, but they're trailing Basel by a whopping 10 points. That said, they're riding a wave of four consecutive wins (counting one cup win and a friendly), and their goal production is nothing to sneeze at—scores like 5-2, 2.5-2.5, 1-0, and a gritty 1-0 away win against a tough Lugano side. They are clinical, but they tend to concede when facing the heavy hitters (giving up 3 to Basel and 2 to Zurich), so I have zero doubts that Tammi's crew will find the net during their charge.
I decided to split my play here with two options: over 2.5 goals, and over 3 (which gives me a push/refund if we land exactly on three).
Looking at the stats, Luzern has hit the over in 6 of their last 10, while Grasshoppers have smashed it in 7 of their last 8. Sure, both meetings between these two last season ended on the under (1-0 and 2-0), but let's be real—the context was completely different back then. If you look further back, 75% of their matches hit the over, so there's a clear trend of high-scoring affairs here, which only strengthens my conviction.
Honestly, I don't see what could possibly happen to stop this game from staying well above Grasshoppers' current seasonal average.

20:45 Inter Milan - AC Milan red card YES 1 3.20 BetMGM

I wanted to bet the over on cards, but the limit was way too high. I actually thought about taking the under instead since their last few matchups weren't that aggressive. A 1.75 line for 7 yellows feels too low. This is a massive derby, though. Both sides have plenty of new players looking to prove themselves tonight.

Last 5 head-to-head matches:
12.8.15 3 yellows and 1 red
25.7.15 1 yellow (friendly)
19.4.15 6 yellows
23.11.14 4 yellows
4.5.14 6 yellows

Check the link for tonight's referee's profile. He’s definitely not afraid to pull cards. He's handed out 7 reds in his last 9 games!
http://int.soccerway.com/referees/gi...-rocchi/44750/

Cards are coming. Between this ref and the intensity of the game, it's a lock. Taking the 3.20 odds because it's pure value.

Inter Milan Under 2.5 @ 1.85 MarathonBet (1-0)
Even though both Milan clubs have been stuck in a massive slump over the last few seasons, this remains one of the biggest city derbies on the planet. Both sides were busy during the transfer window, though if you ask me, Inter handled their business a bit better. They brought in Miranda, Murillo, Kondogbia, Stevan Jovetić, Ivan Perišić, Filip Ljajić, Felipe Melo, and Tella, while Milan went out and grabbed Mario Balotelli, Bacc, and Luiz Adriano. Both squads clearly prioritized fixing an attack that was absolutely struggling last season, but despite all those new faces, I’m still sticking with the under.
Given the sheer number of new players they've signed, it's perfectly logical that Inter isn't clicking yet—but then again, neither is Milan. Looking back at their Matchday 1 clash against Fiorentina, they barely created a single scoring chance, which makes it obvious that it's going to take some serious time for Siniša Mihajlović to get his pieces in place, just as it will for Roberto Mancini. That said, Mancini currently sits at a perfect 6 points (Milan has 3), but those narrow 1-0 and 2-1 wins against Capri and Atalanta aren't exactly anything to write home about.
This derby has been about so much more than just a game for years now; you go into it 100% focused and play it safe. In their last nine head-to-head meetings, the under has only failed once—and that was way back in 2012.
Considering the tactical philosophies of both managers, I seriously doubt we're going to see an open, end-to-end game with endless chances and goals. Milan is likely to show up with a tight 4-3-1-2 formation, and I expect Inter to do the exact same thing. I really think grabbing that 1.85 on the under at Marathon is the smart move here.

Werder Bremen-Hoffenheim BTTS @ 1.50 bet365 (1-3)
We're looking at the total opposite extreme in this matchup. The Bundesliga has been a high-scoring powerhouse for years, and these two clubs are the poster children for goal-fests. Offensively, they belong near the top of the table, but defensively? They're playing like they're in a relegation battle. Despite that, they always charge forward because their managers insist on playing hyper-aggressive formations every single week. Sure, Hoffenheim is a bit weakened upfront after losing Firmino, Modeste, and Schillipock last season, but their system isn't changing—they'll probably just score slightly fewer goals by the end of the year. Meanwhile, Werder Bremen brought back Pizzar, one of the greatest players in their history, though we don't know for sure if he'll actually suit up today.
They've played 15 games total, and only three of them didn't end with both teams finding the net—ten of those were in a row! They frequently turn these matches into absolute goal festivals, so even 1.50 feels like a decent value. In the first three rounds so far, both teams have seen BTTS hit twice already.

Chicago Bears - New York Giants 1 @2,30 Germania (2-0)

The Chicago Bears are hunting for that first home win—and honestly, I don't see why they couldn't pull it off against a Giants squad that's looking a bit lost lately. Scoring has been a struggle for New York, and missing Mitrović isn't going to help matters... On the flip side, the energy in Chicago is great after that win over the Los Angeles Lakers, plus Carroll is back in the lineup. They've brought in some fresh talent too, specifically Antonio—he's an absolute beast on the field and in top form right now—so I'm expecting him to be a huge factor tonight.

USA, 2nd Division

19:00h Alaska - Ford 1 @1,65 USA (1-2)

Alaska is sitting at 8th place right now. A win here would help them climb the standings and potentially get back into the playoff hunt.
Ford is stuck at the very bottom of the table in 20th place with only 3 points. Their away record is pretty bad, sitting at 0-0-5 with a goal differential of 1:12.
Alaska is a seasoned second-division side, whereas Ford is just a newcomer from the third division. As things stand, they’ll likely be fighting for survival.
Maybe a decent value play here.

Ajax - Manchester United Both Teams to Score + Manchester United to Win 3.86 Marathon (2-1)

Both sides have kicked off the season pretty decently, and if you look at their recent form, they actually seem to be heating up. Ajax warmed themselves up for the LP with a sixth win against Cambuur, while ManU just absolutely dismantled Liverpool. What really caught my eye was how confidently ManU stepped into the LP, coming off those two big wins against Club Brugge—who were basically last year's biggest underdog story in European competition. Honestly, I don't think the Dutch side is much better than the Belgians, so I’m eyeing another ManU win here. That said, Ajax plays an efficient brand of football, so I don't expect them to go down without landing a shot on target. Bottom line: I'm expecting a high-quality match, plenty of goals, and, naturally, a ManU victory.

Dinamo-Arsenal ah+1,5 2 @ 2,47 Pinnacle (2-1)
Dinamo is making their third appearance in the Champions League in recent history, and once again, the bookies are being generous by giving us decent odds against them. So, let’s get into it…
The Chicago residents have basically set the gold standard for negative records in the most elite club competition on the planet. Back in the 2011/2012 season, they went 0-0-6 with a goal difference of 3:22, and then in 2012/2013, they managed 0-1-5 with a 1:14 differential.
Only scoring four goals across twelve matches is terrifyingly low. Honestly, I think Dinamo actually had a better squad during those two seasons than they do right now—especially the defense, as weird as that sounds.
In the qualifiers, they had some absolutely insane luck, both with the draw and on the pitch. They struggled early on against Fole (a 1-1 draw at home), and then dealt with Molde (after a 1-1 draw at home in Denmark, it ended 3-3). By the fourth qualifying round, the draw swung heavily in Dinamo's favor, landing them the easiest possible opponent: the Albanian side Skenderbeu. On the field, it was painfully obvious that those guys weren't even mediocre by European standards, let alone capable of posing a serious threat (even if they did hold a 1-1 draw at home until the final minutes). Long story short, Dinamo blundered through the qualifiers on pure luck.
Arsenal are the first ones coming to Maksimir to hunt for prey. The English side started the new season with massive ambitions, which they've mostly been meeting so far. They had a draw with Chelse in the Super Cup, followed by a shocking 2-0 loss to West at the Emirates in matchday one, but they’ve picked up 10 out of 12 points in their last four matches (including a draw with Liverpool).
Even though they have another game against Chelse this weekend, I don't think Wenger is going to overthink this; winning a Champions League opener is huge, and there isn't a more perfect opponent for that than Dinamo. At the time I'm writing this, it's known that Hector Bellerin and Aaron Ramsey won't be traveling to Chicago. Unless there are some other major absences, I don't see what kind of miracle could save Dinamo from losing by at least two goals. Out of their 11 losses in previous Champions League appearances, only one wasn't covered the handicap—that was the match against Real Madrid, which was basically a career-defining moment for everyone on that pitch (0:1). It's highly unlikely we'll see a repeat of that given the 2.47 Pinnacle is offering us here.

Personally, I’m putting my money on Dinamo 😁

16:00 Dinamo U19 - Arsenal U19 1 3,80 Bet365 (0-2)

I’m genuinely curious how they even set the odds for this stuff. It feels like they just look at the names—you know, Dinamo and Arsenal—and decide Arsenal is the favorite because of the branding. Is that really how it works? Honestly, I doubt it. Arsenal isn't some untouchable powerhouse at the youth level. Sure, they hit the quarterfinals back in 2014 and made the round of 16 last season, but that doesn't say much. These squads aren't picked based on pure talent alone; it's mostly about which senior teams qualify for the tournament. The Americans have their own U18 and U21 leagues now, too. Last year, Arsenal's U18 squad finished 24th out of 24 teams. In the U21 circuit, they play in the second tier, where they finished 5th last season. That doesn't prove anything, and I don't know exactly who's starting today, but still... On the flip side, Dinamo's kids usually hold their own against big European names. Every year, some famous club shows up to Maksimir and gets humbled. They absolutely crushed Olympiacos 4-1 last time, for instance. Last season, a lot of these players were cutting it in the third tier, and this year they've moved up to the second. Playing against grown men in senior football changes everything. We know there's serious talent in this group—guys who could actually become stars—and I truly believe they can compete here. If luck is on their side, they could go pretty far. These odds are way too tempting to pass up, so I'm happily taking a shot on them.

I'm sticking with Dinamo U19 myself.

16:00 Dinamo U19 - Arsenal U19 1 4.30 Betfair (0-2)

To add to what the guy above mentioned, from everything I could dig up, Arsenal is actually fielding their U18 squad. That’s just how the rules work in the American U18 league... only the goalkeeper can be from the U19 side.

Their record so far this season isn't bad at all (3-1-1), with a goal difference of 9-7.

As for the home side, if you're feeling lucky, they're the "Match of the Day" pick. The odds are sitting at 5 on Dinamo—though, let's be real, that's closer to 4.3 in actual terms.

I think I’ll put a play on this one myself, though the big question remains—what kind of lineup are these kids actually going to field? It worries me because the Dinamo 2 squad hasn't exactly been putting on any shows worth remembering lately—I mean, they’re playing against senior teams, sure, but they’ve only managed to scrape together 8 points in 6 matches. Plus, it honestly baffles me that they didn't just postpone today's game against Imotski 🤔

How can it be the same day? I mean, if we look at the logic, who is actually playing in the second division, and who is facing Arsenal U19 specifically? Is there any documentation or official schedule stating this somewhere?...

It doesn't say anywhere what the lineup is, and honestly, that's half the problem right there... 😁

And you’ve got these kids playing for Dinamo 2 who probably belong in the Champions League by now—guys like Moro, Dani Olmo, Knežević, Dejan Lovren...
Honestly, Dinamo really does have a massive surplus of young talent, plus all their other players under contract, so scraping together whatever they need for this second-tier matchup isn't even an issue for them.

So, SS and Hl just tanked on the 4th Dinamo game, PSK at 3.8... right before I was about to put money on the 1x, they drop it from 2.30 down to 2 🙂

Some solid intel for the second division:

The lottery is offering @ 2.40 for a single win—the only catch is you can't play it as a singles bet; otherwise, the odds have already been slashed down to @ 2.10

I’m actually heading out to catch the game live today to see this ImoCkog guy in person—and let me tell you, I’ve got some solid intel suggesting they are looking pretty rough. Knowing how ImoCkog usually performs when playing at home... I wouldn't count on much.

So, here's the breakdown...

Dinamo 2 is essentially an U19 squad playing against grown men in senior football, while Arsenal is just an U18 side—honestly, it’s highly likely the odds are set based on nothing but their reputation alone. It's ridiculous. This exact same Dinamo 2 squad sent all their top talent over to Arsenal today, while dumping everyone else down to Imotski (the leftovers)? It makes zero sense.

Basically, you've got playing against Dinamo (senior level), playing under the Dinamo banner (youth level), and then playing against Dinamo (youth level). 😁

Nicholas Patel52 said:So, here's the gist...

Dinamo 2 is technically an U19 squad, yet they're playing against grown men in the senior leagues.

But look, it's not just U19 kids—there are players there who aren't quite part of the main senior rotation yet, but they've aged out of the U19 Champions League, too. Think guys like Endre Çekiçi born 23 November 1996, Musa, or Alen Halilović.
