Jessica Gonzalez said:What are they even trying to represent? We almost never play in those checkered kits. I guess it's just for the fans to look at, while the players on the field stick to blue.

They exist because you have to have an intro kit, obviously. Honestly, we should probably wear them more often since red is such a dominant color—it'd be perfect for when we're facing off against teams in white, like Greece for example.

Alright, here’s a look at the Nike away kits for the teams heading to the World Cup (besides Brazil, obviously):

image

There’s a bit of everything in this batch—some are total snoozefests, while others actually hit the mark. Personally, I think Canada’s looks pretty solid, but the Netherlands? Absolutely killer. I was actually planning on pulling the trigger on our new home kit, but seeing this one has me second-guessing things... check it out again 😁

image

Oh, and for next season? In my humble opinion, those are hands down the best Bayern kits they've dropped in years. Seriously, Adidas can actually cook when they want to 😁

The jersey is alright, but that training top he wears during the anthem...😍

Total old-school vibes, almost looks like those neon kits from the eighties (as Vera would say)...🙏🙏🙏

They're wearing these against Bochum today, and man, the jersey is just killer 👍

Even though the new jersey launch was already down to the wire, Umbro is snatching the national team away from Nike and throwing them under the bus...😁

That jersey is an absolute train wreck—they honestly could have ruined our reputation forever. I’m still trying to process that look on that guy's face (second from the left)... Ugh! Anyway, heading over to the Rose Bowl now.😁

Dear forum members, in case you weren't aware—scientific studies have actually proven that orange (incidentally my favorite color) has a way of disorienting the opposition.

Consequently, it became standard practice for goalkeepers to wear orange jerseys. Eventually, various club owners realized this could provide an edge, leading teams to adopt orange kits—Wolverhampton and Shakhtar were the pioneers, and now I see Valencia CF and Barcelona using them for their away kits.

My personal favorite has to be the Shakhtar one—the 2002/03 version featuring the DDP logo.

On a side note, this new national team jersey, with those red numbers right in the center, is absolute garbage..

The Brits say:
Budweiser prepares to sign off as the team's shirt sponsor at the end of the season their name will be displayed in Chinese language for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
With Liverpool the only UK city exhibiting at World Expo in Shanghai - its twin city - later this year, Carlsberg officials came up with the novel idea of interacting with the club's massive fan base in that part of the world.
The Chinese Carlsberg logo will be only the fifth logo ever printed on a Liverpool FC shirt. Liverpool FC's first sponsor walalalalaachi, followed by Crown Paints, Candy and then Carlsberg in 1992.

To looks like a seriously bad Photoshop job to me... I know it's from footballshirtculture.com, but still. It’s like they just slapped some plastic with a T-Mobile logo on it right before the photoshoot and called it a day...

The jersey looks fine, I guess, but take a look at the squad. Seriously, is this what we're getting before the big game? It looks like they're all just mice.

This new Bayern kit isn't actually all that groundbreaking; it’s really just a "retro" look, since they had jerseys very similar to this back in the 70s.

A few new ones:

Milan:

One's for the Italian league, the other's for the Champions League

Marseille:

I'm not really feeling the Milan one, but that Marseille design is killer again.
