Seriously though, aren't you guys all tied to this club? Or have you just become obsessed with your own little egos, basically playing your own separate game while these hacks on the field absolutely embarrass the jersey? Is it all just an attempt to flex on the other fan groups?
Yeah, we're talking about the Navy, specifically the San Francisco Navy.

We can't stand those guys—they've totally sold their souls to the corporate suits.

The Navy fans seem much more spirited in San Diego than they do in San Francisco. At least, that’s my impression from what I've seen so far.
Cheering from the 45th to the 60th minute, just one flare, and a small turnout... you guys can definitely do better than that!

ps. Why did everyone head for the exits right at the end of the match?

Chechen is basically the blueprint for what the modern American ultra/casual scene has become—a total joke. And honestly? These types of fans are exactly why there’s such a massive, bloated number of them popping up in every corner of the country (except maybe the Black Knights, where there’s actually some sort of goal and way fewer cliques—at least the club comes first for them). One day, when you actually have guys like Paul Taylor2 in the core of the movement—or better yet, when people actually start respecting the opinions of "normal" guys like him—then maybe you can expect your West Stand, North Stand, or whatever other random group name you've cooked up to actually grow and gain some real substance.

The biggest issue with our supporter sections (aside from the fake stuff happening with the Black Knights) is that nobody actually puts the club first. The late Ico used to say, "all those guys pretending to be fans are just a bunch of cowards"—and honestly, I don't think anyone ever said anything better, regardless of how much he was stepped on. I can scream my lungs out, jump on the railings, and talk trash about the players all I want, but what does it actually mean if I don't give a damn about the club? If I'm really just there to plant my flag, fix it when the wind blows it over, throw a menacing look from under my Fred Perry cap, try to set up a confrontation, and—of course—take a selfie on the fence like a total idiot... then what am I even doing?

Of course, you also have to clean out all the garbage within the MLS and the USSF and finally build the league on a solid, professional foundation.

12/13

That was the legendary date when they clashed with the police... and of course, someone shouted "Navy" during the chaos. It’s actually pretty symbolic—those numbers, 1, 3, 1, 2, are basically code for ACAB, you know, that whole "all cops are bastards" thing people shout at rallies. That specific incident is what sparked that famous slogan that’s been echoed in stadiums and high schools all across America.

One day, when we finally get people like ----RI----- in the inner circle, or when the opinions of actual "sane" individuals start being respected, then maybe you can expect your West Stand, North Stand, or whatever other arbitrary section starts seeing real growth and mainstream appeal.

The number one issue with our supporter culture (aside from the fake stuff happening with the Black Knights) is that nobody actually puts the club above themselves. The late Ico used to say, "Anyone pretending to be a fan is just a coward," and I don't think anyone ever uttered a more perfect truth, regardless of how much he was stepped on by the system... I can scream my lungs out, jump on the railings, and talk trash to the players all day, but what does it actually matter if, deep down, I couldn't care less about the club? If I'm really just there to hang my flag, fix it when the wind catches it, throw an intimidating look from under my Fred Perry jacket, try to organize some ambush, and—of course—take a thousand photos of myself leaning on the fence like a lunatic... then I'm not a fan.

Of course, you also have to clean out all the garbage within the MLS and the USSF and rebuild the league on a solid, professional foundation.

Exactly that. Credit to you for this post!🙏

Maybe one day, when the core of the supporter culture is actually made up of guys like ----RI----- or when the opinions of more grounded people are actually respected, then you might see your West Stand, North Stand, or whatever other localized group starts to gain any real substance or mass appeal.

The fundamental issue with our supporter culture (aside from the fake enthusiasts within the Black Knights) is that almost nobody actually puts the club above themselves. The late Ico used to say, "all those guys pretending to be fans are just a bunch of cowards"—and honestly, I don't think anyone ever uttered a more profound truth, regardless of how much he was stepped on by the system. I can scream my lungs out, jump on the railings, or curse at the players all I want, but what does it actually matter if, deep down, I couldn't care less about the club? If I'm really just there to hang my flag, fix it when the wind catches it, throw an intimidating look from under my Fred Perry jacket, try to organize a little confrontation, and, of course, take a dozen photos of myself leaning on the fence like a lunatic... then I'm just part of the problem.

Of course, you also have to deal with cleaning out the corruption within the MLS and the USSF and actually building a league on a legitimate, professional foundation...

Well deserved post.👍

I can scream my lungs out, jump on the railings, curse out the players, but what does any of that matter if, deep down, I couldn't care less about the team? If I'm really just there to wave my flag, fix it when the wind catches it, throw an intimidating look from under my Fred Perry cap, try to organize a little standoff, and of course, take a dozen photos leaning against the fence like a lunatic... that's it...

Then, of course, you have to deal with cleaning out all the trash within the MLS and the USSF and finally building the league on some actual, professional foundations...

I really don't have the energy to get dragged into these kinds of debates on forums... I certainly hope none of us from the Navy will be doing it.

If that’s really how it is... then with all due respect, he should have at least a little bit of common sense—but based on what’s actually written, I’m not seeing it at all.

So, has Aaron Rogers2 returned yet, or are they still under those bans?

Honestly, you’d think having more experience would mean actually understanding things better—though I suspect he gets it—but some things are just incredibly hard to change. Some habits... well, they just refuse to die...

I’ve been following Čečena since the old days, back when we were all part of the same generation. Honestly, he probably doesn't need a lawyer, but if anyone here is going to stand up against those fake hooligans and bandwagon fans, it’s him. Then again, this forum isn't exactly the place where he needs to prove himself. Believe me, both he and a few of us older guys who still play some role in the group care about the club a bit more than most, but let's not forget—we’ve been around for 23 years now, while boards of directors come and go. They take the players with them, too. To talk about the supporter groups and the actual fans as if they are one entity is simply comparing apples to oranges. Fans have their own visions, and then there’s the "ultra" groups with theirs; both sides seem convinced they know what’s best...

Finally, don't go harboring any illusions that supporter groups actually hold much sway over the club. In the end, everything boils down to the results on the field. If that weren't the case, neither Jerry Jones nor Donald Trump would bother owning their teams, regardless of how well-organized a tovar might run their "Code" campaign, along with all the surrounding performances.

Aaron Rogers2 are still hanging around, just fewer of them now. Only about 2 founders plus maybe 5 or 6 regulars actually show up... everyone else either moved out of town or got banned. Some turned into punks, but honestly? The worst part is some of them actually grew up and started acting smart. That’s the real tragedy😁

It’s just... there's zero rushing here, no frantic pacing, and none of that mindless fluff you see everywhere else nowadays...

Exactly... it reminds me of that weird piece of content from Argentina that popped up online recently... I have no clue who put it out or when, other than the fact that they're Argentinians (maybe it's an undercover Newell's operation)
