ugh😕, I can't seem to track down my exact one right now, but something along those lines... maybe orange and white, but instead of those little beads around the edge, it’d have a smooth, satin orange ribbon

Hey David Torres5, what's yours going to look like? We never actually got around to talking about it😍
And do you happen to know anything about how I could trim down this guest list?

Check out my previous post—I put some orchids on there. Take a look.
The lanes will just be purple.
I don't know anything about this whole downsizing thing. My folks haven't mentioned a word about it to me...

Yeah, I’m planning on going with cubes for mine too, instead of those diamonds I used before. Couldn't track down the right ones, but honestly, I think I'll just stick with kale next time.😍

It’s been exactly a month today.😍

Patrick Brown3, how much are you dropping on a pound of cookies lately?

Can you believe I forgot? I spoke with them a month ago and yet... it slipped my mind. 🤣
We will be meeting there soon to finalize the details. I will have more information then. 👍

. . we used them before and the rate was $23/lb, plus we paid $667 for a cake serving 350 people! highly recommended...👍

We grabbed some treats from the Appalachian Mountains too. 🙂 Their pastries are seriously elite! I had some right there on the spot and honestly, I was lowkey kicking myself for not grabbing a whole box to take home! So good...

we’ve grabbed Smile Bakery's treats for a bunch of different occasions over the last few years, and honestly, they nail it every single time. I’m heading to a meeting tomorrow and thinking about just ordering some cookies for the whole office by October.

Jonathan Hill6, my cake looks almost identical to yours, and honestly, I still can't wrap my head around how much you guys end up shelling out for a single cake!!!!
I mean, when you're talking about a massive tiered cake where every single layer is a different flavor, plus serving a light fruit pastry alongside it for a crowd of 350 people, the total price I'm looking at is $833! just for everything!!!!

Man, I just saw this and nearly passed out from the sticker shock. I've got about 180 guests coming, and my quote is hitting $667, which feels insane. Could you tell me which bakery you're using? Because what I'm paying seems absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the individual pastries are 😕

Looks like you're getting married right after me😍

Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to track down that Smile bakery up in the Appalachian Mountains... does anyone actually know where it's tucked away?

I think we should probably scale back the guest count for the cake next time. We ordered cupcakes for 140 people and a cake for 120, but there was still a massive amount of cake left over... I guess when it actually comes time for dessert, most people are too full to eat anything, so they just end up polishing off the cupcakes while waiting for their table at the restaurant...
We used the local bakery from Magnolia! 👍👍👍

Anyone here tried the pastries at that bakery over in Malibu? If you have, I’d love to hear if they're actually worth the trip...
I heard a wedding cake for about 200 people runs somewhere around $1,200-$500😕

So, how many people actually showed up to your wedding?

Honestly, most bakeries around here are such a rip-off, so I actually found this amazing lady who does private catering, and her desserts are just pure magic—so incredibly fresh! It’s kind of a tradition in my family that relatives bring over all the ingredients, so I really only end up paying her for her talent and hard work, and I have to say, her treats honestly blow those fancy high-end shops out of the water. For my party on the fourth floor, I've picked out four different cakes: one with cherries, one with parfait cream, and one with almonds and chocolate, and I'll probably dream up something special for the fourth one, while the servers will hand them out alongside some iced wind cake, which is this super light, fruity delight.
