David Howard9 - A colleague of mine recently brought in some leftover wedding treats that a friend had gifted her—though, if I’m being honest, she basically just scavenged whatever was left after picking out all her personal favorites first... but even those "scraps" were absolutely divine to me... they were from Kašnar, by the way—so, in my book, that's a massive win...

Has anyone here tried any of the treats from Machine (from Sunday World)??

Hey ladies, I have a quick question for you all. How many pounds of cake should I realistically plan on for a crowd of about 150 people, keeping in mind that we also want enough left over to send some home with guests? Thanks!

So I swung by Baskin-Robbins today. They’ve got an insane selection and the price is only $27/lb, which honestly isn't bad at all... their delivery service and how they pack everything on those little trays for the party

So, we picked up a cake from Tiffany & Co. over in Suburbsville, and honestly? We were blown away. Like, completely floored. Even my guests were practically begging for seconds... and I don't even need to mention how it looked, since you can see the photos right there in my signature. All in all, a solid 10/10 for me.

We considered getting their cookies, but ended up going somewhere else simply because they were closer to us.
I definitely agree that they are delicious. I should probably be banned from their shop just so I don't eat everything on display!
I am terrible!

Does anyone know how much those cakes at Starbucks actually weigh? Also—has anyone here ever grabbed some sweets from Orient near Central Park or maybe over by Horak?

Check out our cake 🙂

We ended up getting everything from them—the dessert spread for the house, the catering for the venue, even the little treats for the party favors... and honestly, we couldn't have been happier. Our guests were obsessed, too. 🙂..I mean, they actually called us the very next day just to ask where we got the sweets because they were so good..

I’ve been ordering my desserts from this place for years now, and I have NEVER, ever had a bad experience. I am absolutely obsessed with their stuff. 🙂

Alright lady, now you gotta drop the actual numbers for those damn cookies of yours🙂 What’s the price per pound? And how much did that cake run me—and how many people was it actually enough to feed?

Ohhh, I see it now... she's absolutely precious... honestly, if I were designing something—just something simple yet truly elegant

Kudos to you for picking this one 🙂

Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent bakery or pastry shop in San Diego? 🙂

you... and the photographer... 😍

p.s. I make the best cannoli in the entire country... and by the time I get to your little party, I'll have picked up even more tricks... before I run into Zack, I’m planning on stopping at every single bakery in town for a pastry... I'll arrive perfectly fueled up...

anyway, I'm outta here before I get reprimanded...

Oh, and an idea... there's this flawless little bakery in the marina, right near SI.... I think they're doing a massive expansion... my cake came from there 😍

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the bakery in New York City. We picked up both a cake and some pastries there—everything was delicious, the prices were fair, and the staff was friendly. 🙂

Come on, hit me with the numbers please—I'm sure they were solid, but I really need the actual prices for a comparison if you don't mind🙂

Yeah... I see Jack & Jill's van driving by all the time, so you'll have to tell me—how much does all that cake actually weigh? If I were doing a cake and dessert spread for 120 people, I’d probably be looking at closer to 150 pounds of sugar. When I was checking out the place in downtown Chicago, some woman there asked what kind of style I wanted and said it would cost $667, which honestly seemed like a steal. P.S. Has anyone ever heard of those bakers from Columbus who are always setting up shop at the local wedding expos?
