Wedding cakes and desserts

I watched it on my laptop with a friend—it’s called Fireproof.
My friend actually commented on it too, saying how much she loved it and that it gave her some great ideas for a wedding.
But after reading your post just now, I’ve gotta say, it got a little scary... I started wondering if maybe you were actually her, haha! 😬

Heh, I honestly can't say for sure.
But I already had this nagging feeling that someone was hiding in the back of my car!!

So, since my big day just wrapped up too, I’ve gotta give a massive shoutout to the folks who made it special (thankfully, things went smooth with everyone 😁)... If you need any dessert recommendations, you seriously have to check out the little bakery over in Oakland where I picked up all the treats and the cake—everything was absolutely killer (especially that parfait cake, which was next level 😍) and the presentation was just gorgeous... Honestly, they get a huge 👍 from me (and a big thanks to the ladies here for all the tips)

Guys, I seriously have to rave about this little bakery in Ann Arbor called Monica because I swear I’ve never had better cakes in my entire life... 🙏 I headed over there this past Saturday with my partner and some friends because I’ve been obsessing over those wedding cupcakes for ages (you know, the ones Zippy 😍 had—thanks so much, by the way!) and honestly, everyone was just blown away!!! Every single flavor sounds amazing, but we ended up going with chocolate, a chocolate-vanilla combo, and then chocolate-orange.
The cakes are literally a dream come true, and the prices are actually super reasonable compared to everywhere else... Anyway, big shoutout to Monica 👍 !!

I didn't actually know him either since I'm from Savannah, but we ended up spotting Monica, so we finally tracked her down! 😁 It wasn't even that hard to find, she was practically right at the entrance to Ann Arbor... I'll send over the specific details via DM so I don't clutter the thread with everyone's private info... 😉

My friend and I are heading over to a little local bakery this Friday to sample some cookies... they used to be $25/lb, but apparently they’ve bumped up to $27 now. I think I'll just put down a deposit right away to lock it in. Still haven't decided on a cake, though. She might actually get one for free from the restaurant, so we're still playing it by ear.

we went with chocolate-vanilla for our cupcakes as well, though that orange-chocolate one sounds pretty killer... actually, I'm planning to hit up Ann Arbor again this Monday to see the doctor, so my better half and I might just treat ourselves once more... it's also pretty cool how they switch things up with seasonal fruit flavors depending on the time of year.🙂

Has anyone actually tried a cake from Sugar Land I’m currently torn between going with M&M's or sticking with Sugar Land—I would truly appreciate some recommendations before I make my final decision. 😉

Frank had a cake from Sugar Land once...

Personally, I find their pastries delicious... they're just pretty pricey.

Honestly, you can't really go wrong with either choice. You'll be fine regardless of which one you pick.
