Nathan Cox25, what kind of cake flavor are we even talking about here? $4.00it’s hardly a massive selection...

Here’s my version, just tweaked a bit...

image

Think round, four tiers, all in some lilac-purple combo...
Bottom tier: chocolate, walnuts, hazelnuts.
Second: strawberry parfait.
Third: raspberry parfait.
Fourth: more raspberry—or maybe mixed berries...
Oh, and since it's my father-in-law's birthday, we'll treat him to...

image

an icy blast of strawberry, banana, and kiwi.

To cake is honestly a bit underwhelming—not quite what I’d expect from someone in their 50s...

Nah, not really—I mean, okay, maybe not quite like that, but the vibe? Trust me, with him, it wouldn't even look bad if they turned his entire wife into a giant cake...

That cake looks incredible—honestly, I’d love to get one just like it, though maybe with a different flavor profile.🤣
If your father-in-law is just a big jokester, then I guess it’s all good.😉

I spotted this cake on the DT studio pages and I am obsessed—I absolutely love fruit. Does anyone happen to know where I can order one or what kind of filling might be inside? (Click for a larger view.)

So here’s the cake! I honestly think it turned out fantastic, mostly because we went with candles instead of those messy sprinkles—we aren't really big fans of those—and we could actually use some fresh flowers on top. Because of that, I guess it might just be better to stick with Tricia's way of doing things

Anyone got some advice? 😁

I just grabbed this cake, and now I'm thinking... what if I swapped out this single candle on top for those little glitter spray cans instead? 🤷 I feel like if I just leave it as is, half the crowd won't even notice it, but the spray would definitely pop! 😁

The candles will definitely stand out more if they dim the lights—plus, they've gotta turn them down anyway when you're setting off those sparklers, right? Personally, I’ve always preferred the candles over the sprayers.
Lorraine, whenever you go checking out local bakeries, just bring a photo along and ask if they can replicate it.

Everyone’s been raving about the pastries at Coca-Cola's bakery lately. They really are top-tier, I guess—definitely worth a visit if you have the chance!😉

Oh my gosh, it looks stunning!!! Honestly, don't change a thing—it’s perfect just the way it is, and it stands out so much from the typical stuff you see. I love this look; it's gorgeous. Those poppers might look a bit out of place, though! Instead, why not give them to the godparents and have them set off the small ones right when the cake comes out? That would make the whole entrance an actual experience! 😉

That cake is absolutely stunning! My daughter is getting married soon, and I’m definitely going to show her a picture of this. Honestly, don't change a thing!
Where did you order it from?

Alright, I'm not gonna change a thing! 😉 😉 Seriously though, this cake looks absolutely stunning 🥳

I'll just grab those hand sprayers so everyone can help themselves if they want to 😍

Linda Barnes8, I actually picked up everything—the cookies, the cakes, the whole deal—over in Small Town, USA 😍

So, who exactly is running the show over in small-town Ohio? I’ve never heard of them, though they seem to be the talk of the town on this forum lately.
I used to get my cookies from a lady living out in the suburbs—they were always incredible—and I actually had an Admiral make my cakes. Honestly, I find that Ticino spread absolutely revolting, but since it looks so damn good, I suppose I can let her off the hook...

There’s absolutely zero chocolate in this cake, just a mountain of whipped cream!
Honestly though, their pastries are legit—so many talented women working there, I don't even know how else to put it.😍 I ended up grabbing this wedding cake, some cookies, and another 12 cakes for the buffet spread.

That was my plan, honestly. I just thought maybe one of you had seen a cake like that at an American wedding and might know more about it.

Mine had that fancy artisanal chocolate mass... it looked incredible, but honestly, everything just ended up sticking to our teeth while we were snacking on it at midnight. It was visually stunning, sure, but it doesn't quite hit the mark compared to good old-fashioned whipped cream—at least when it comes to flavor.
Yours looks fantastic, though.

brightotter21, about that photo you posted—sorry, but I don't think that's whipped cream 🤷 have you already checked in with a pastry chef to confirm?
