...so, we were over at my grandpa's last night for his 77th birthday party...we brought him some sugar-free chocolate, those sugarless candies, and even some sugar-free fizzy multivitamins...just so he might actually get the hint, you know? Honestly, he’s one of those diabetics who just won't give up the pastries, the bacon, or huge helpings of margarine—basically, he just loves overeating. He’s sitting there at 280+ lbs with a massive belly, and after having heart surgery, he was supposed to drop about 30 lbs so he could head out to Palm Springs for some rehab...but instead, he actually gained another 20! And then, right to my face last night, he goes: "Hey kiddo, when are you planning on stopping the weight gain???" Like, seriously, WTF 😲 😕 ...so I just blurted out, "Grandpa, I'm pregnant...!!!" And he just looks at me and says, "And how much do you weigh now?" I mean, jeez, what am I even supposed to say to that? So I told him, "Just stay level, okay..." but then he starts being totally relentless...like, what do you guys want from me? I've gained 14 pounds already, so what if I gain another 14? 😛 😠...and as I'm leaving, there he goes again: "So, when are you starting to lose the weight?" Honestly, once I have this baby, man, you guys can all just let me be! I know I've got some extra weight on me, so please don't judge me too hard...ufff 😠

I’ve officially run out of things to wear... it’s getting ridiculous. I feel like I’m moving around like a tank. Honestly, the idea of buying maternity clothes sounds exhausting, and my due date is only a month away. What am I even supposed to do in this heat? I’ll need larger sizes soon, but I’m definitely over just wearing sweats and loungewear all day.
Just dragging myself around the house.
It's awful.
During my last pregnancy, I was working right up until the 20th week before my water broke—I felt like I was on high gear. Now? I feel like a total slug.

Same here. Just lying in bed, trying to get a little bit done, though I honestly don't even know how much I'm allowed to do since I'm on bed rest. It sucks. During my first pregnancy, I was unstoppable until the very end. Now, I feel like a tank. For the last month, I've been waddling around like I'm already in labor.

I feel like a total wreck. 🙂

There is so much to do around the house... at this rate, I'll be seeing Easter in a complete disaster zone.
Being stuck at home constantly means I notice everything. Everything looks dirty. I need new curtains. I hate this rug. I want to gut the entire living room and start over. I’ve already tossed a massive pile of stuff out.

And then there's the mirror. Whoever claimed that pregnancy makes you glow—😵👎🙂

I’ve been dealing with this absolutely brutal bloating lately... Honestly, yesterday I felt like a giant balloon; I couldn't even bring myself to head into the office, so I ended up just taking a personal day. Luckily, I managed to pull a shorter shift today, and hopefully, a few days off over the weekend will help me reset.

And don't even get me started on my apartment—it looks like a literal disaster zone. There are breadcrumbs everywhere I step, and if it isn't crumbs, it's a mess of puzzle pieces or plastic Tupperware scattered all over the floor.

To top it all off, my stomach makes me look five months along instead of three. I know people say you "pop" faster during a second pregnancy, but this feels excessive. My coworkers at the firm have already started noticing, and I’m only in my 14th week! 😱

Staying home is a total disaster.....🙂
The house is pure chaos. Toys are scattered everywhere, and I honestly look like a wreck right now. It’s exhausting. On top of that, the dog is driving me absolutely insane with how much he constantly runs around.> We have a house with a yard, yet I feel like I have to be outside with him at least four times a day for half an hour just to get some peace. It feels more like living in a cramped apartment than having actual space.> It's miserable.> My to-do list is endless, and I don't even know where to start. Just a complete mess.div>>

It actually drives me crazy that I have to start hitting up this new bakery, just because the lady at my usual spot right around the corner keeps hitting me with that—"Oh wow, look how much you've filled out!" 🙄

My head is seriously driving me crazy lately. I look in the mirror and it’s like instead of a normal head, I’ve got a giant sugar bowl attached to my neck. It just looks massive. And the worst part? I haven't even gained weight during this pregnancy—it's just my head that's turned into a giant sphere.

I was actually thinking about telling my husband the other day that I don't have any decent maternity photos, and that he should take some shots of me so we have memories to look back on. But good grief, looking at the few I *do* have... what am I even looking at? In every single one, it's just a head shaped like a globe. So, naturally, I tried letting my hair down to camouflage the situation, thinking maybe a ponytail would help... but nope. Just a giant globe wearing a wig. Ugh.

Saturday, we’re rolling into the middle of nowhere. His people are already there. Hugs, kisses, the usual drill. A massive crowd of relatives.
Mother-in-law (all sweet and bubbly): Look at my big girl!
Btw, I bet you can guess—I have to point out that we’re talking about a woman who is endlessly neglected, aggressively masculine, and—obviously—overweight.
😠
Funny thing is, I caught her off guard. I turned right to her face and said:
- I'm not fat, I'm pregnant. And please, I don't want to hear that ever again.
- ... (she looked mortified, obviously) Oh, well, that's just how people say it... I only say it because I love you.
- It's not how people say it. First, it's rude, and second, it isn't true. So much for "love"—none of the people who actually care about me calls me that, so don't you ever try it again. (I was thinking this to myself, but I kept it polite, even if it killed me...🙄)
Dead silence. 🤣
Spent the rest of the weekend strictly limiting my interaction with her to the bare essentials (read: five sentences total).

I’m starting to get the distinct feeling that people just have it out for pregnant women:
My husband’s family—specifically his sister... she calls him constantly because she’s always dealing with some health issue, nothing major, but she only ever reaches out when she needs a favor or wants someone to run errands for her. 🙄
Then, during our last chat, I catch her asking about me: "Is she getting fat?" My husband was like, "No, she actually lost 4 pounds," 😍 love him. Look, I know I’ve got more to lose than I used to, but is that really the first thing you ask a pregnant woman? 😠

And then today, while she was visiting relatives over at our place in town, she practically just stares at me through the window. She didn't even bother calling to say she was coming by to congratulate me or anything... nope.
I mentioned it to my husband, and I could tell he felt terrible. It's not his fault his sister acts like this, and honestly, no matter what he says to her, it's just going to turn into a fight.

To be honest, I don't really want them hanging around the house all the time anyway. She's totally shameless about it, even asking if she can light a candle at our place (I told my husband there's zero chance of that happening), but still, it would've been nice if she showed up to celebrate. I'm just so fed up with us always being the ones making the effort to visit them...

I’d love to give her a piece of my mind regarding how she's acting, but I'm not exactly the most tactful person and I really don't want to start a massive blowout. If anyone has any subtle suggestions on how to drop a hint without causing a scene... I'd really appreciate it. 😉

Honestly, I’ve finally reached my breaking point. The constant barrage of calls from friends and family—both close and distant—pestering me about my current situation is driving me absolutely insane. I am genuinely considering switching off every single phone in the house just to get some peace. If I miss the deadline because I couldn't escape the noise, I might actually lose my mind.

+ And don't even get me started on my mother-in-law. She acts like she has an answer for everything and insists on inserting herself into every little thing, playing the part of the selfless Good Samaritan. It’s impossible to be direct with her because she hides behind the excuse that she’s "only trying to help."

Ugh, man, I really hope I don't deal with that kind of drama,
but people are just so incredibly dense. Like, do they not get that pregnant women need peace and quiet, not a massive pile of extra stress?

It drives me insane when my mother-in-law asks (as soon as we walk through the door) if Peter (that's what my son is gonna be called) was being good.
I mean, hello?! How could he be anything else?! 🤷 He isn't even here yet, so how does that even make sense? It’s beyond irritating.
Right now, he only exists to me, period!!! He’s in my belly and he’s mine!

Exactly. Just a few days before my due date, I've had everyone under the sun debating whether I'm feeling okay or when I'll be doing what... I'm already overwhelmed enough as it is, and I really don't need all that added pressure.
Plus, I truly don't see why anyone needs to be the first to know that something is happening... those who need to know will find out, and everyone else can wait until the time is right.

Haha, that bit about the mother-in-law is spot on. Mine asks me: "So, what is Jesse Evans85 up to?" (as if I have any clue... what is he doing? I don't know, he's still in my womb!).

It’s driving me absolutely insane—this whole fake royal wedding circus... it’s just exhausting enough to make my skin crawl.
It feels like every time I turn around, those two, Nemeš and Marijana, are popping up out of nowhere like they own the place. Look, I don't even follow celebrity gossip religiously, but honestly, it’s impossible to ignore because there isn't a single day that goes by where we aren't hearing something about them. And that Marijana? Her constant, mindless rambling is just pathetic.

now I'm starting to feel like I'm not the only one dealing with this stuff🙄
except I'm only at 22 weeks and I've barely even started feeling him move.
Like, what is he actually doing? I haven't the slightest clue, I can't even feel anything yet, ugh!

It’s driving me insane. I can't sleep because I'm stuck in this loop thinking about my grad school thesis proposal. I can't find a topic or a mentor to guide me, especially since nobody at my office holds an advanced degree. Every idea I come up with feels way too complicated. Time is running out, and if I don't get this submitted on schedule, I’ll have to pay back $70 $0.00 which is what they're covering for my tuition... 😢😢😢😢

And honestly? I’m also freaking out about tomorrow's physical exam. I'm so anxious I feel like my heart might actually stop beating... 😢😢😢

First off, just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the girls on here. For anyone who isn't like, literal family or my besties, just letting you know my due date is at the end of June!! So I’m pretty sure nobody’s even gonna remember.🤣🤣

Gotcha, I feel you on the rest. 😘 I feel you... It’s always the same. She asks me, "Where are you even going to put the kid?" and I'm like, "In the passenger seat of the SUV," and she immediately hits me with that "But..." because apparently, my daughter used to sit in the basket in the back of the car... then just rolls her eyes. Typical.

Quincy:
I can't believe you're still talking about this. Honestly? It's getting old. kaže:

Man, those two are always making drama out of nothing. I don't even follow the thread, but honestly, you can't go a single day without hearing about them. And that Marijana? She just won't shut up. Ugh.
I'm with you—both of those topics are seriously annoying.

Honestly, it’s so frustrating. I am just sooooo incredibly exhausted and unmotivated lately. I feel like I have zero drive to do anything at all. I head into the office and try to tackle even the simplest little task, but my mind just wanders everywhere. Before I know it, two hours have vanished and I have absolutely no clue what I actually accomplished during that time... 😢
I had originally planned to work through at least July, take some vacation time, and then maybe take a month of medical leave right before maternity leave kicks in. But honestly? Right now, I feel like calling my boss and telling them I won't be in starting tomorrow! I don't understand why I'm feeling this way. Last time, I actually enjoyed being at work—they practically had to nudge me to get me to stay! It was fine back then...
I just have to force myself to push through May, and maybe part of June, just so my disability benefits aren't such a massive drop from my regular paycheck...
