So today, after a massive amount of time, I finally heard that classic line again: "You're just pregnant—you aren't actually sick!"
aaaaaaaaaa!!
Look, I’m not sick, but I did decide, totally on my own, that I’m done staying out until 3 AM in smoky dive bars. So... leave me alone!! It was my call, and nobody, at any point, ever claimed I was ill!

There! Finally got that off my chest.

It is quite irritating to deal with these sudden bouts of exhaustion, or the sheer physical struggle of simply transitioning from lying down to standing up. Even my most comfortable maternity jeans have become a nuisance because the fabric over my stomach is far too short, causing them to constantly slide down. Then there are the minor indignities, like struggling to pull on boots, or the internal groan that follows whenever I drop something on the floor, knowing full well that bending over is now a significant chore.

I also find it somewhat tiresome when certain acquaintances—friends or even family members—perform this exaggerated display of excitement regarding my pregnancy. To me, this is a perfectly natural progression of life, and I see little reason for such excessive sentimentality. Furthermore, I am mildly annoyed when some of my friends start referring to themselves as "aunties" in relation to my child. Honestly, I think I'm losing my edge.

It is quite irritating how I have become an "addict" to this forum; instead of actually being productive, I find myself sitting here reading and typing away...🙂🙂

I second that.🙂

The comments from people are what get to me... My neighbor asked me today how I was doing and if everything was fine. When I told her things were okay, she snapped back with: "An acquaintance, another acquaintance, another acquaintance... they all said everything was perfect too, right up until the next day when they started bleeding and had a miscarriage." It made my blood boil...🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Yeah, I've been there too. Some people truly just "speak nonsense and somehow survive." What did you say back? Lately, I've started cutting those conversations off immediately. I tell them, "Please, I don't want to hear stories like that." And then I get the typical response: "Why are you getting so angry?"
🙂🙂🙂Makes you even angrier.

I didn't know how to handle it... I just told her "it happens" and walked away... now I'm constantly on edge, waiting to feel that tapping, and it's driving me crazy 🙂

Look, I don't need anyone to spell things out for me. I've seen enough to know exactly what's going on behind the scenes. 🤷

Anyway, here's my situation: are you still holding it together? 🥳

Right now? I’m totally playing the gender card! Honestly, I'm not having this baby for my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, or any of my friends—I'm doing this for myself and my dad. 🙂
My MIL is already obsessed because she wants a grandson since she's got three granddaughters, and my sister-in-law says she wants a girl just "out of principle" so she can have two. 🙄 Well, I'm not telling anyone anything until they actually meet the little one face-to-face. 🙂
Why do people feel the need to pester pregnant women like this?

Great, more gender, more names, and then some ridiculous deadline... As if we can never have enough mindless questioning.
This scheduling thing makes zero sense to me. Does nobody realize that there's a 99% chance I won't be in labor on that exact day? 😕
So I give them a vague three-week window and hope for the best.
I suppose I'll just blame myself when they start breathing down my neck mid-next month asking if I'm still intact. 🙂
Do they honestly think people aren't going to speak up? 🙂

My godmother gave me this look when I had my first baby... "Wait, so you aren't due for another two weeks?" She was completely baffled... 🙂🙂

And now, they've started coming after me about it... 🙂

I have to wonder if that woman is even remotely sane. The only way one could possibly forgive such a comment is if she retreated into her house immediately afterward and began slamming her head against the wall while questioning her own sanity. We all occasionally let something slip that we later regret, certainly, but if this is her standard mode of conversation, one would be wise to give her a very wide berth.

This is my second pregnancy, and I've already realized that everyone seems to know someone who dealt with these exact same issues... 🤷
Some woman told me during my last pregnancy that I needed to get rid of my dog because some acquaintance of a distant cousin knew someone whose dog ate their newborn out of jealousy once they brought it home...🤣🤣😂😂☕

The heartburn is honestly what’s bothering me the most right now 😢
I won't lie and say I wasn't being a little lazy by skipping the instructions, but my husband read through them and told me they shouldn't be taken while pregnant...
So I eventually just settled on having some warm milk before heading to bed...
Besides that, what’s still really getting to me today is this non-stop hunger, ugh...
On the bright side, though, I'm just so relieved that the nausea has almost completely disappeared...

Yeah, right—as if that matters. If this one eats the kid, we'll just make another one. 🤣

Don't go hanging out with animals too much; the kid might actually start picking up their habits 🙂

It certainly beats dealing with certain people's personalities!😁
