Mixing tips?

It honestly feels like they don't have the slightest clue what mixing, remixing, or actual production even means.
So, let's clear this up once and for all:
Mixing: basically playing one track after another—creating those "transitions" without clashing basslines (you know, avoiding that skipping sound)—keeping the BPM identical between tracks (when those beatmatch lights on both players are blinking perfectly in sync). That’s it. In short.
Remixing: taking an existing track and tweaking it—speeding up or slowing down the tempo, adding effects, etc...
Production: building something from the ground up—creating the samples that eventually get mixed into a set. For example, a DJ producer has their own collection of samples (maybe three crates of records) that they live by. From those samples (or their own remixes versus someone else's finished tracks), they build a set (and that’s where the mixing comes in).
Go check out some tutorials on YouTube or something 😁 .
And actually show up to a real party 👍
Tell that to the person who's clearly just browsing Temu—I'm positive when they wrote "mixing," they actually meant "remixing."
