This is how I am currently attempting to retrieve the confirmation via the Medicare portal:

Log into the application — select business users — go to view registrations and cancellations — enter the Social Security number of the individual being deregistered — and then the system should automatically generate the confirmation as a PDF.

Exactly. Just keep in mind you have to wait a few days for them to process the request.

They don't send confirmations via email anymore. You have to log in to the Medicare portal and download the confirmation there yourself.

I didn't even have a newer version of Java installed until I tried logging into ExxonMobil and got hit with a prompt telling me to download the latest version!!!

I assume you're hit with capital gains tax once you actually withdraw your profits. As for anything else, I haven't a clue.

It’s ridiculous. They passed this law mandating online filings, yet they haven't even built the software to actually make it work. My digital ID won't even clear if there's a negative balance on my account, despite having my cards ready. So now, I’m stuck physically driving down to the IRS office just to hand over my requests and vouchers manually.
And what’s the deal with that two-year contract with FINRA?

Is it actually possible that you can't file IP cards through the IRS?
