My take? It’s because as some highly educated pro—say, someone in medicine or a similar field—you just can't back someone who's peddling the exact same product as you, but built on total lies and shady methods. It’s the fraud factor. 🤷
To me, the movie used that move to send a message about what’s right and wrong, basically making sure we aren't accidentally rooting for the bad guys, which is harder than it looks sometimes. How she handles it is up to how you interpret it, but that's the logic I used to answer your question. 🙂
Honestly, the movie hit the spot. Atmosphere, tight storytelling, solid characters... for a total amateur like me, it was great. Don't quote me on that, though.
The lead starts out, stays that way through the whole thing, and ends as a complete geek, which I loved. And his final line 🙏 he finally gets it. 👍
