Honestly, this feels totally unnecessary. In my opinion, it should just be the artists voting while everyone else stays on the sidelines—not to mention the typical low-brow forum crowd shouldn't even be involved, since they probably wouldn't get it anyway. ☕

The dawn broke on a beautiful, sunny day.
Like any other morning, I rolled out of bed wrapped tight in my cashmere blanket and duvet.
For a split second, I thought something felt off. I pulled up the blinds, and then—boom.
A flash of light.
The sunlight finally hit! About time!
I scrambled to kick all that bedding off. I tossed the duvet aside once, maybe twice, and bolted outside.
I sat on a bench drenched in sunlight, sipping my coffee. I was just sitting there thinking about how great it would be if it had finally arrived. I didn't dare say out loud what "it" was, but man, I was happy to feel the warmth.
I couldn't wait for the next morning.
Everything played out the exact same way, except this time I wasn't under a cashmere duvet.
I opened the blinds and—flash!
Tossed the covers once, maybe twice, and rushed out.
And that's where I messed up. I said it out loud.
Spring is here!🤦
