Honestly, this is easily his worst movie yet. Even the ending felt like some cheap, generic trash you’d see in any typical Hollywood blockbuster. I really didn't expect him to drop the ball this hard. But hey, everyone has an off day, so I'll give him a pass. It's just such a shame because the concept and premise were actually pretty cool. 🕺

Here it is!🤣🤣

Whatever. I don't really care if certain people decide to stop hanging out on the forums. If they want to move on and go do stuff that actually makes them happy, more power to them. It’s pretty obvious that when Memnon is constantly looking for the exit, it just brings the whole vibe of the community down. ☕
Nica, just clear out my profanity filter for a second. I promise I won't actually type any bad words in there, but a guy’s gotta have some standards. 🍿
Nathan Murphy said:I grew up watching him, alongside classics like Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, and Predator, plus those smaller action flicks from the 80s. If you throw in True Lie and Taken, you get the full picture. I’m a fan of Arnie, but honestly, he isn't the best actor.
Richard Wilson4 As specified by: Sly is an incredible actor, especially in the original Rocky Balboa, the first Rambo, Fist, and most notably in Copeland.
This is actually the first time I've heard someone call Sly an excellent actor. It’s funny because on another thread, there was this big debate about Brad Pitt. One group was insisting he’s top-tier, while my group was arguing that while he's good, he isn't quite "excellent" yet. Now, it looks like I might have to concede and start accepting Sly as an elite actor too. 😵 Let’s be realistic here: the guy is a mediocre actor who just happens to have an occasional standout performance. I recently rewatched *Copeland*, and honestly, that was one of the few times he actually nailed it. Sure, that role was better than his previous work, but that’s exactly the trap people fall into. They know he lacks any real dramatic range, yet the moment he finally delivers a decent performance, they suddenly start acting like he’s some legendary dramatic powerhouse.
By any standard, Sylvester Stallone isn't an elite actor. To earn that title, you need a consistent track record of stellar performances, and he just doesn't have that. People love Rocky Balboa because it’s a story about hope, and let’s be honest—any movie that provides that kind of inspiration is going to find an audience. He hit the jackpot with his timing, sure, but if you look at Rocky objectively, it’s a decent enough film that somehow exploded into a massive phenomenon. As for Sly himself, his acting in that role is just middle-of-the-road. I don't see a single standout moment where you could point and say, "Now, there is a masterclass in acting."
While Rambo is my favorite of his films, that crying and screaming at the end is just proof of how weak his acting actually is. Look, I grew up watching these guys and I love all their movies, but by any real standard, they aren't exactly "great" actors. In my book, they’re pretty mediocre—Sly might be a bit better, though that's debatable—but generally speaking, they're just actors who occasionally stumble into a decent role. That doesn't mean I don't respect what they achieved, especially when it comes to Arnie. To me, Arnie is a much bigger inspiration to young people than someone like Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, or Al Pacino, specifically because of how he fought his way up to become the biggest action icon of the 80s. He was a total anomaly, and you have to hand it to him for that.
Watch and learn, buddy! Where are the mods? They should kick a maniac like this off a movie forum. Sly is clearly the pinnacle of dramatic art. 🍿
I’m finally seeing progress in the mirror. The gut is melting away, the beard is coming in, and I’m starting to feel like a powerhouse again. Honestly, I think I'm getting back to a solid 5/5.🙂
Isn't this just a movie about a woman who decided from day one to be different from everyone else? I didn't walk away thinking this was some story about being poor.🤔
The best part is definitely when he goes to interrogate someone at that tattoo parlor or whatever it's called, and some old guy notices his ink. He just loses it. Says "thank you for your service" and then heads straight back to a jail cell. 🤣🤣
The only thing that actually worked for me in this movie was the incredible soundtrack; it fits the vibe perfectly, especially with how the cinematographer captures the mood. Everything else felt pretty mid. I honestly don't get why everyone is making such a huge deal out of this one.🍿
Excuse me? Pointless? 🤦 This is a cinematic masterpiece. He walks, he fights, he shoots, and he’s got that dry sarcasm down. It’s brilliant. Basically John Wick on crack.☕
shadoworca5 said:Exactly. 😁 People in America say "Tony is nothing," which basically means "stop bullshitting." And honestly? He talks a lot of shit with how he acts in certain episodes. 😵.
Brilliant. Does anyone actually know what Tony's zodiac sign is? 🤔
