Wait, like... Kung Fu porn? 😲

crimsonmoose3 said:Look, Wrong Turn has some eye candy, sure—but that’s hardly my reason for calling the movie a masterpiece. Honestly, that alone was enough to make me stop wasting my time on those mindless flicks that just use busty women to bait people in. 🙄

Man, you clearly aren't a real man😬

But this flick doesn't just have "eye candy"—it's got Matrix vibes, Kill Bill energy, and even a little bit of hero flavor... plus you've got that hot pink-haired ninja girl and that stunning blonde redneck babe in denim...

How can a movie featuring this clip possibly be bad? (Just hit that blue button, ignore the American warning saying the clip isn't for kids under 18)

So, if you're looking for some old-school Laurin star vibes, you can find that kind of stuff tucked away in High Fidelity—but man, if you want a real deep dive? You gotta check out The 13th Warrior. Honestly, that’s the only time I’ve ever seen a Viking funeral done with that much actual detail. It was wild!

So, I caught this flick a few days ago. Honestly? It’s absolute garbage. But man, is it good! Like, it’s basically a guy's fever dream brought to life. If I had to sum up the whole plot in just one sentence, it would be:

It’s easily one of the biggest Kung Fu hits of the last decade—mostly because of all those gorgeous women in bikinis.

It’s got vibes from Kill Bill, every classic hero story you can think of, those old-school dragon movies, (you know, that Jet Li flick where he pokes people with acupuncture needles?), Mortal Kombat, the Matrix... you name it. Except about 90% of the runtime is just skin, and maybe 10% is actual clothes. By my definition, it’s the perfect movie for any real man out there.

Could be a standalone episode from a series—honestly, I don't really have the bandwidth to commit to a whole new show right now..

Man, they’re gonna run this brand into the ground at this rate! Seriously though—series, soap operas—it feels like there's a funeral in almost every single episode. Take *Hero* (you know, the one with Jet Li?), there's that whole Wu Ming funeral vibe at the end. Every single King Arthur movie ends with a funeral too (with the elves carrying dead Arthur off to Avalon and all that). Or even *Chariots of Fire*! You get it, right? It's everywhere.
Steven Rodriguez62 said:Whenever I talk to you, we always somehow end up circling back to Israel and Islam... we could be having a perfectly normal conversation about knitting or embroidery, but it’s pretty much predictable where this is all heading...

dersu said:but what about Palestine, huh?

Get over here, you goofball! 😎
Steven Rodriguez62 said:It’s highly unlikely you’ll see a political party like that emerge in Palestine within your lifetime... and as for their militancy... regardless of how much friction they have with Israel... over sixty years, most of the moderate people have essentially fled, leaving behind a population that’s vulnerable to manipulation and religious fanaticism... the educated and progressive types moved to Europe or North America a long time ago...

Fatah is actually a member of the Socialist International😉

And hey, as long as they keep voting for "struggles" and "holy wars," they aren't gonna get a functional state out of it. That's their call, though.

BTW, we're talking about Mexico here.
Steven Rodriguez62 said:Oh, really? Don't get ahead of yourself there... once they finally finish tearing each other to pieces, they’ll just pick up right where they left off...

The thing is, I don't think they're ever gonna stop fighting each other. It’s basically a toss-up—either Fatah wipes out Hamas, or Hamas takes down Fatah, or they just keep tearing each other apart until there's nothing left, or we're stuck in this endless civil war loop forever.

Check out what's happening on the ground in Palestine here:

Personally? I’m kind of rooting for option B—you know, them just neutralizing each other so someone actually reasonable can take over... like, maybe a Palestinian liberal party or some sort of social democratic group could step up... God knows we've had enough of these parties calling themselves "Holy War" or "The Resistance" or whatever... honestly, they're way more intense than some folks I know back home!
Steven Rodriguez62 said:I honestly think they’d still find ways to kill you whenever and however they could... faith doesn't really have anything to do with it...

Right now, they're basically just doing the job for them by killing each other off! It looks like as long as Fatah and Hamas are the big players pulling the strings, they aren't going to stop the internal infighting anytime soon. At least, that's what a deputy director from the intelligence agency was saying today. It's really just a slightly more detailed way of saying "if things go south..."
dustyhound5 said:So, where exactly is Palestine located, huh?

I mean, if they actually play by the rules—maybe then they’ll finally get their own state.
Steven Rodriguez62 said:Hold on now... 😁 if we follow that particular line of reasoning, someone might argue it’s better to just convert the Mexicans... 😁 I mean... 😁

It really just depends on your perspective 😎
Richard Wilson4 said:No matter how much people cheer over a Mexican defeat, I honestly think Mexico becoming independent is gonna be a bad move for us Americans in the long run. Adding another Muslim state to the mix is just going to crank up the tension across the North America even more.

The perfect fix? Just convert those guys to Catholicism and then let them go independent. Easy peasy!

Matthew Wright2 said:Explain it to you? Man, you're about as bright as a broken flashlight... not even being mean here, just stating facts.

Honestly, I’d be laughing too! But hey, why don't you enlighten me on the "metaphorical" meaning of these terms: a lowly fly, a sugar cube, straw, and a gallop?

So, like, is this "lowly fly" thing actually referring to *Drosophila melanogaster*? Is there some weird connection to genetics going on here?

Matthew Wright2 said:'come on, John, Melissa Richardson3 and all you other boring little flies... get lost. go on then, everyone get a sugar cube and let's get those four legs moving.'

Hay bales and full gallop!

Hmm... I swear, I am never gonna wrap my head around cowboy humor. Little flies, sugar cubes, hay... what on earth is even happening? 🙄

But seriously, I just don't get these weird jabs—like Phoenix's whole retirement-age trolling where he's all, "my blood work looks better than yours" or "I've got bigger lung capacity than you," and then there's Matthew Wright2's whole thing about annoying little flies and sugar cubes. Man, little flies and blood counts aren't exactly part of my daily life, you know? Someone please walk me through this so I can actually laugh along!

Bradley Nelson2 said:the world’s been grinding away at heavy industry for maybe just over 200 years! basically just relentlessly torturing the planet 🤣 🤣 🤣

Speaking of which—didn't Lenin define heavy industry as the whole backbone of the socialist revolution? That's exactly why that one-legged former convict was so obsessed with steel mills and ended up polluting half of America... I mean, apparently, Communists get a free pass, but Christians don't get to touch the thermostat 😵

So, anyway—still haven't seen a single thing that actually looks like a Communist state...

Matthew Wright2 said:Look, I don't celebrate because I'm just not a believer, but even if I were... man, the whole circus surrounding Christmas is just wild. We’re dumping massive amounts of money into this stuff—money that's basically being thrown away—and the production and shipping of all those gadgets and junk just wrecks our beautiful planet. Meanwhile, you've got people starving in parts of the world, and honestly, even back in your old home state... I really feel like Jesus would be embarrassed by it all. It’s all done in His name, but He was all about humility, right? He definitely wasn't looking for idols or this crazy materialist blowout.

Real believers should stop buying useless trinkets for each other and instead take all that cash and send it over to Africa to help ease the hunger caused by droughts—droughts we're basically making worse by polluting everything so aggressively.

But hey, John Lennon wanted it that way, right?

CroKoala said:maybe life just loves messing with you a little bit, babe 😉 🙂......... alright just kidding 😎

Sorry, I can't even wish you a happy Christmas—I mean, do you actually celebrate it? Since you're all about following Jesus Christ... just wondering.. for real

The Communists celebrate on December 22nd—it's basically the anniversary of the US Army.
