Look, I’m not saying I’m mad—it’s just not that it's wrong, but throwing flares onto the field makes zero sense. If every group was lighting them up inside our own section—making the whole stand glow and keeping the fire on the floor—then I'm all for it. That’s what a flare is actually for, right? To create a massive spectacle where the entire stand is lit up. It looks incredible. But honestly, the Boys have this weirdly stupid habit where about 70% of everything lit ends up flying off the stands anyway. That’s why the pyro looks so pathetic sometimes—you get the feeling like maybe 6 flares were lit when it was actually 30, but half of them are already being doused in trash cans by the firefighters before they even catch fire in the stands. 🤷
Unless we get at least three clubs that actually give a damn, our whole scene is basically dead in the water. The New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers thing isn't even a real rivalry anymore—which means the fan clashes are pretty much non-existent too. San Francisco? Forget about it. It used to be a real deal against Indianapolis and their fans, but now Indy is just a pit stop, kind of like some random town in Ohio. I’m hoping San Francisco steps up their game soon—if they do, maybe the Yankees and Dodgers will follow suit, and then you'll actually have three sets of die-hard supporters clashing. Maybe some random guys from John Doe or John Doe will just show up by accident, and hey, suddenly we might actually have something worth watching. We need those guys from John Doe and John Doe in Major League Soccer!! 😍

As for the Boys... after all the hype they built up, their turnout wasn't exactly mind-blowing. The chanting was pretty weak, though I guess I'll give them credit for the pyrotechnics—that part was solid. But overall? Total letdown. I’m expecting the Armada to be on a much higher level than them this Wednesday. Their message is straight-up garbage. While they were busy taking payouts from the owners, we were out here fighting against the local corrupt officials and the big shots—basically kickstarting the fight against the football mafia in America. Think about it.

Then again, if I'm going all in on something new, I'd definitely go with a laptop. Obviously, you don't get the same bang for your buck compared to a desktop, so my real question is: if I want a decent laptop that hits the same performance levels as a desktop around $1.00, I should probably be prepared to shell out a bit more, right?
Honestly, they aren't even that much of a stretch for the budget compared to a GPU—for instance, looking at that 460 you mentioned, it’s already pushing well over a grand...🙂
@Bryan Wright8 The PSU is some Codegen 400W thing (it says model 300xx on the side, though I guess that might mean nothing, and it's ATX 2.03(p4)) And the monitor is just an old-school 1280x1024 resolution setup.
EDIT: So I'm browsing Craigslist right now and seeing all kinds of NVIDIA GeForce cards—512MB, 1GB, whatever—selling for like $67...Why the hell are they so cheap?🤷

Hey guys, I'm starting a new thread here because I actually want some gamer input this time. So, basically, my GPU finally kicked the bucket—RIP—so I've gotta pick up a new one, obviously 😁. Up until now, I've been running an Nvidia GS 7600 [512mb], and even though I wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer, I've always loved playing the GTA series. But GTA IV is where I'm hitting a wall. The game launches and everything, but the graphics are just... broken. Like, you can see through the floor and there's ocean visible underneath everything, kind of a mess. When I checked the system requirements to see if my rig could even handle it, everything passed—except the GPU part. The VRAM is fine, I guess, but the card itself just isn't cutting it. So, I was hoping you guys could recommend some cards that won't choke on newer titles like GTA IV, and ideally, something that won't break the bank either. I don't really know much about this stuff, so I'm leaning on your expertise. Thanks in advance.🙂

What actually went down—were the Canadians provoking Americans? Because things went south super fast and massive right after the goal; a few players from Velez ended up getting hit near that exit. And here’s something else interesting—check out the St. Louis City SC player at 0:50, trying to take a Canadian down to the ground... 😉
