Greetings! To save everyone from scrolling through everything, I’ll jump straight to my advice! My husband has been struggling with breakouts on his backside and thighs—he's a long-haul trucker, so he spends all day in a cab, and even with cotton underwear and staying clean, these temperatures have caused quite a flare-up. Since he was looking so miserable about it, I decided to try a little DIY remedy! I brewed some sage tea, let it cool down, and grabbed those tiny washcloths you use for babies. I soaked them in the tea and applied them as a compress to his thighs. He went to sleep, which made it much easier since it's awkward to apply while he's moving around! I left it on for about 20 minutes (re-wetting it twice), and by morning, the inflammation had subsided by about 80%—and I promise I'm not exaggerating, even 😲 would agree! I applied a soothing cream in the morning too. They look like acne to me—red patches of varying sizes that aren't raised or easy to squeeze, just very flat and angry-looking. By morning, they looked almost dried out; you can still tell they were there, but the redness was gone, leaving just tiny little spots. I'm doing it again tonight. He was absolutely thrilled, and honestly, seeing him relieved after being so discouraged makes it all worth it. Please give this a shot! Sage is inexpensive, and the solution is so simple that I’m actually a bit annoyed at myself for not thinking of it sooner!
Good luck to everyone, and I will certainly check back in to let you know how things progress over the next few days.

I ended up with a tear in my perineal area after a rather lengthy session of intimacy. To be honest, I didn't even realize it happened until the next day when it started stinging terribly while I was using the restroom. When I finally checked, I saw a little wound
right there... I didn't have anything on hand except for some Tyrosur powder (similar to Neosporin)
so I tried applying that... but it isn't doing much; the area is just too moist for the powder to stay put. 🙄
So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good ointment or cream that might speed up the healing process? It stings like absolute crazy!
My husband is currently away on vacation, and I really don't want to go to his substitute because we've had some issues with him in the past... this has been going on for three days now. Does anyone have any "quick fix" advice??
Maybe try a healing spray designed for minor wounds? There is a product similar to Neosporin but in a spray format. It might sting a little upon application, but I think it would be much more effective since it dries quickly while still working its magic...

I think a false positive usually happens in cases of a chemical pregnancy—where fertilization happens but the egg doesn't actually implant properly. Just wait about 5 days after your first test and take another one. If it's still positive, you're golden, no doubt about it.
In my own experience, I actually had a false positive! It wasn't a pregnancy at all, but rather caused by a cyst that I hadn't even realized I had, despite my regular checkups. It is an extremely rare occurrence, but since it happened to me, I’ve lost faith in both negative and positive home tests. Now, I always insist on getting a blood test to be absolutely sure!

It usually runs about 33 to 36 days, but for the last two months, it’s dropped to 24. My last period started on the evening of July 6th, and my partner and I had sex on the 9th—we don't use protection. Since that first time, we've basically been at it every single night for the last 15 days straight (and yeah, let's just say things have been pretty busy 😁). Logic tells me I was definitely ovulating during all that action, so I’m wondering how early I can take a pregnancy test? Which one actually works before my period is due? Based on my new schedule, I'm expecting it in about 6 days, though given our marathon sessions, I’m crossing my fingers that isn't the case! Or is it better to just go get a blood test? If so, how many days before my expected period could I do that? Also, my OB-GYN is currently away on vacation, so does anyone know a decent clinic in the area that won't absolutely rob me blind?
P.S. I want a baby more than anything in the world 🙂
Generally, it is recommended to wait until the very first day your period is late to take a home pregnancy test; doing it earlier often yields nothing. As for the blood test, I believe you should wait about ten days after ovulation. A friend of mine tried it earlier because she miscalculated her ovulation date, and her blood test came back negative even though she was actually pregnant! It wasn't until five days later that the test finally caught it. Listen, patience really is a virtue here. Five days isn't an eternity to wait. If your period ends up being late, just take a test or visit a private clinic for a blood draw. There are plenty of private labs where the blood test costs around $55, and you can receive your results via email within one or two hours. You won't find anything faster than that. If you decide to go through your insurance with a referral, you will likely have to wait until the next day for the results. I went ahead and took a pregnancy test, but the result was negative. I’m feeling a little conflicted because my period still hasn't arrived, and I’ve noticed my breasts feel quite heavy and full—though thankfully not painful. There’s also some yellowish discharge, which doesn't have an odor. I can't help but wonder if it's too early for a test to pick up a pregnancy at this stage. Theoretically, ovulation might have occurred later than I originally anticipated, meaning the test might just be catching me too soon. My last cycle ran from March 28th through April 2nd, so I really should have expected my period by May 5th at the very latest. Is it possible it's simply premature for the test to show anything? I would truly value your insights—how many more days should I wait before trying again? The test is already sitting there, ready and waiting for the right moment.
Alright ladies, I could really use some advice or perhaps a little guidance! My boyfriend and I have been intimate without protection (you know the drill... the "pull out" method). I’ve been tracking my cycle very diligently since about nine months ago last year, and it’s usually quite predictable—it has never gone longer than 34 days, except for once when I had a bad cold. To give you an idea, here are my recent dates: Dec 24–29; Jan 22–Jan 28; Feb 26–Mar 04; and Mar 28–Apr 02. Currently, I am about seven days late based on my longest cycle, yet I am experiencing absolutely NOTHING. Usually, about ten days before my period arrives, my breasts get quite swollen and tender, but this time? Total silence! We would love to start a family (if it happens, we'd be thrilled!), and life is pretty settled—I have a steady job, we’ve been together for years, and we live together. So far, I have zero pregnancy symptoms, though if I actually am pregnant, I honestly have no clue what signs to look for; I suspect it might still be too early to tell anything. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me "yes" or "no" just yet—I’d much rather wait until at least the 15th before I bite the bullet and take a test. What should I be paying attention to in the meantime? I'm not the type to experience heavy cramping beforehand, and I don't typically deal with PMS, mood swings, or irritability, so I can't rely on those usual cues to know my period is coming. Any tips or wisdom you could share would be wonderful!
In the meantime, I haven't noticed any changes in my breast size either; they are only slightly enlarged without any of that usual tenderness or tightness in my ovaries. It's all very inconclusive...
I assume I’ll head to CVS to pick up a test this weekend. My cycle has never been this late before, and I have that nagging feeling that the moment I finally buy a test, my period will decide to show up that very same day or shortly after! 😁
