That is exactly what I was asking. Since I’ve basically mastered the art of living with them, is it still worth getting rid of them by any means necessary just to prevent those polyps from popping up later? I want to know if it actually lowers the risk of colorectal cancer down the road.

I have a question regarding a hemorrhoid issue. I've been dealing with them for years now—my job is mostly standing, so I am literally on my feet all day long. I assume that’s a big part of why they showed up in the first place. I have one external one that's been there for years, and I’ve basically just learned to live with it to the point where I don't even notice it during my daily routine.

What I really want to know is, what are the long-term consequences of leaving a hemorrhoid untreated? Can it generally lead to colon cancer over a long period of time?

TSH 3.34 normal range 0.27 to 4.2
FT3 4.8 normal range 3.1 to 6.8
FT4 14 normal range 12 to 22
Prolactin 212.0 normal range 71 to 566

I haven't bothered testing for antibodies yet since I'm heading to an endocrinologist for an ultrasound and a full checkup sometime in the next few days...

Prolactin 363.49 normal range 108.78 - 557.13
Progesterone 4.82 normal range 0.32 - 0.95
FSH 13.46 normal range 3.03 - 8.08
LH 7.46 normal range 1.00 - 11.78
estradiol 136 normal range 77 - 922
Testosterone 1.33 normal range 0.45 - 3.75

So there it is, both my Progesterone and FSH are way too high, and by "way too high," I mean significantly outside the lines...

Alright, moving right along. I just got my hormone results back from day three of my cycle, and honestly, some of this looks pretty alarming...

Prolactin is sitting at 363, which hits the upper limit, though it technically falls within the reference range up to 557.

The real issue here is the Progesterone level, which came in at 4.82. During the follicular phase, that number should be somewhere between 0.32 and 0.95. This is massively elevated. What does this actually imply, how much is this going to mess with my chances of getting pregnant, and what kind of specialist should I be seeing about this? My LH, estradiol, FSH, and Testosterone levels are all perfectly normal...

It's entirely possible they’ll put her on a tiny dose of Synthroid just to nudge that TSH down a bit, especially since you've been trying for so long and you really want to rule this out as a factor.

On another forum, melloworca6 mentioned that TSH should actually be at 2 or lower and that anything higher could be an issue... so I honestly don't know. 🤷

Since we’ve been trying to conceive without any luck for two years now, it’s pretty obvious that this elevated TSH is the culprit, even if it technically sits within the "normal" range; apparently, the ideal level should be closer to 2 or even under 2 if you want things to actually work. Is that actually true?? I need someone to weigh in on these numbers because I know that T3 is sitting right at the top end of the scale too...

It’s all just nonsense... People have been chewing over the same old Q&A stuff a hundred times already, just like when I posted a few questions yesterday and got hit with answers that anyone could have found on Google in five seconds. If you start banning people from sharing their actual lived experiences, you're making a massive mistake, because those stories are exactly what make so many people—myself included—feel a hell of a lot better. There’s a real sense of relief in realizing you aren't alone when you get a little bit of support from total strangers who are dealing with the exact same struggles you are. 👎👎👎👎👎
