Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Hey ladies, I need some advice.
If I’m looking to quit these pills, do I actually have to finish the whole box? Like, what happens if I just toss them in the trash while I'm still halfway through the pack?
Red bumps or rashes on my skin? in Health ·
Mod can probably merge this post—might help someone else dealing with the same stuff. I’ve got a yeast infection, and my doctor just handed me some Lamisil cream to rub on once a day.

I’ve been scrolling through images online, and that isn't it. I haven't even been out in nature lately—just work and my apartment. I barely spend any time outdoors. Besides, I’ve already checked my whole body; there aren't any ticks. To me, it looks most like a bad sunburn, just that dry skin feeling you get afterward. It doesn't itch, it doesn't sting, and I don't have any other symptoms. Is it possible it's from sweat? Lyme usually has that redness right in the center where the tick bit, but I don't have that at all. The area with the hair looks totally normal. I'm using some Neosporin ointment, but nothing is changing.

It looks more like this — http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&ne...1nPndBg&zoom=1
Even though it doesn't itch or peel. I shower regularly, and now that the heatwave is hitting, I'm showering multiple times a day. I change my towels and sheets constantly; honestly, where would I even pick up a fungal infection?
I dealt with a yeast infection a couple of months ago, used some Monistat and a pill—can't remember the name—and that cleared up pretty fast. I don't have hygiene issues, so why would I have fungus under my arms? About two weeks ago, I was on a course of Azithromycin... could there be a connection with antibiotics?

So, I’ve got these red circles popping up under my armpits. It’s weird because I shave regularly, but the redness isn't actually where the hair grows or where I swipe on deodorant—it’s more like a ring surrounding the area. I haven't changed anything lately; I've been using the exact same deodorant and body wash for months, so I really doubt it's an allergic reaction or some sudden irritation. I even tried taking a break from shaving and skipping the deodorant for a few days just to be sure, but nothing changed. It doesn't feel like typical razor burn either, since, again, it's this distinct centimeter-wide red border circling the spot where I shave. To top it off, the skin feels like a nasty sunburn—just super dry and tight—even though I haven't spent a single minute out in the sun.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be or how I can get rid of it?
Bicornuate uterus (heart-shaped uterus) in Women's Health ·
I’ve been feeling pretty anxious ever since I heard the news. I tend to fall down those late-night Google rabbit holes, digging through all sorts of theories and rumors, and honestly, it’s just a mess out there. I really, truly hope this doesn't turn into a massive headache—I'd much rather just get my career back on track and keep working instead of being forced into early retirement.
Bicornuate uterus (heart-shaped uterus) in Women's Health ·
I'm officially joining the club. Went to see my OB-GYN today, and he mentioned that my uterus looks more heart-shaped than the standard oval. He also noted that having a heart-shaped shape doesn't necessarily mean I have a septum or any kind of internal wall dividing things up. Just one more thing to add to the list, I guess.

Charles Murphy6 said:Buditedobro: Look, wasting your breath complaining to the school board is just plain ridiculous. They’re nothing more than the principal’s hand-picked puppets—they get chosen by him, don't they?😉
And the parent council?? Please. It's usually just the principal deciding which parents get a seat at the table and who gets pushed onto the school board—it's all rigged, isn't it?😉
The whole concept of a parent council is a total joke; in most schools, you barely see anything happen beyond the first meeting, maybe even a second if you're lucky.
Now, the Department of Education? Sure, a parent can always file an anonymous report. Of course they can.
But let's be real—if you actually work in the education system, you know exactly what kind of bureaucrats sit on those inspection teams, and frankly, they haven't the slightest clue how a real school operates.☕
Unfortunately, I've had my fair share of run-ins with inspectors myself, and I have to say—it's a no. They didn't find any faults in my work, but I was left absolutely stunned by the sheer level of incompetence and their total ignorance regarding actual law...

At my school, the Parent Council actually meets at least twice every semester. At least. And the parents elect their own reps during that first meeting; the principal doesn't just call the shots.
That's how it works in my neck of the woods, anyway.

Any idea how I can go about deleting those photos I posted back a few months ago?

analogwolf60 said:I don't really buy the idea that income is what stops you here. I guess the real hurdle is just... well, not having a transcript that proves you're currently enrolled in an academic year.

A quote from the JPMorgan Chase website:
"To qualify for our Student Fan program, you must be an adult enrolled in a full-time degree program at an accredited American university or college; this includes those studying for personal enrichment or graduate students."

The thing is, a ton of people doing grad school or studying for fun are already working full-time. It’s mostly the undergrads—or whatever they call it since the whole system changed to the new credit system—who are either unemployed or just picking up odd jobs through some temp agency, which doesn't even count as a steady paycheck.

It’s like they won't let me switch over to a standard checking account or anything else on my own, otherwise, it would have happened ages ago. I've been working for over a year now and I'm still stuck with this student Zaba fan setup, even though my bank statements clearly show regular income deposits. They’ve called me multiple times to come into the branch and fix it, and every single time I go in, they tell me to change it. Now, the last thing I heard was from the girl at my local branch that I really need to show up because they technically have the right to freeze my account.
It reminds me of a buddy of mine who stayed on his student plan way too long after landing a job. He didn't run into trouble until he tried to apply for a credit card and got rejected specifically because he hadn't updated his account status yet.
The real question is, do they actually have the legal ground to lock my account? I have a feeling they don't, because if they did, they would have pulled the trigger on it a long time ago.

I mean, how can they just switch my account type without me actually signing anything? I’ve had a steady paycheck coming in for a full year now, so why didn't they just get this sorted out months ago?
I'll probably just grab one of those modern digital assistants when I head down to Chase, but honestly, I don't see any reason for them to be freezing my funds.
Bank account frozen: What should I do? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Thanks. It felt pretty sketchy to me too, how they could just freeze my account without any actual reason. I think I'll just hire a professional financial consultant to sort this mess out—$6.75 a month is way better than $17 a month
Bank account frozen: What should I do? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’m circling back to the question I posted earlier here:
So, I’ve got this student checking account at Chase, but I haven't been a student for over a year now. Every time I walk into the branch, the staff asks if I want to switch to a standard account, and every single time, I just end up grabbing a handful of flyers like I actually need to sit down and weigh my options. Recently, a friend of mine who works over at Chase told me I should probably just get it sorted, because apparently, Chase has the right to freeze my account just to force my hand on the matter. Is that actually true? Can they really pull a move like that? I'm not even overdrawn or anything, so it feels a bit heavy-handed.

Is that for real? Can they actually pull a move like that?

hmm... honestly, looking at all you guys with your perfectly curated photos makes me feel a little self-conscious. I wouldn’t say I’m overweight—I’m about 5'8" and 125 lbs—but my main issues are my glutes and my midsection. That's what I really want to tone up if possible. Right now, I feel like my butt is just too much and looks a bit saggy, and as for my stomach... well, you'll see. Don't hold back—be brutal! It’ll actually be easier to get motivated to work out if someone gives me a reality check. :-)
