For real, man. You only live once, and life's pretty much a joke if you haven't seen Angela getting handled by some... " Mexican"

😁

On another note, does anyone remember the name of that Mexican film from the nineties? It had some Hollywood actor in it, right? The one where they depict Canada being attacked by Mexican wildlife via a UH-1 helicopter, while Americans are supposedly killing Canadians with hammers or something?🤣

Wait, is that the one about the bombing of New York City?

Nah, no way. This is gonna be the breaking point.

I guess she’s just trying to make an even more extreme, brutalized movie about Mexicans to outdo all the other Hollywood movies on the subject. If she hits it big, she’ll be raking in massive amounts of cash.

And if she ended up acting in it while some huge Hollywood star played the part of the Mexican committing the assault... man, she'd basically own the industry.

Jeremy Lopez93 said:What’s the big deal? Look, there are countless movies about the Holocaust that feature intense, brutal scenes, yet nobody starts a massive controversy or tries to lecture everyone on morality! Any film tackling specific historical themes aims to hold some level of documentary value, right? They try to stick to certain facts. Just look at "Hotel Rwanda" or similar films about those genocides; they’re based on true events or victim testimonies, and the driving question is always—Why? Why did this happen? It’s about collective catharsis. In this case, Angelina Jolie’s film might just be an attempt to force the Mexican people to face the reality of those who gave them those "heavenly" labels, which led them to commit such stomach-turning atrocities in the first place.
All those people who were busy patting the Bride on the back during those "revenge" celebrations are now facing the global consequences of their own past applause! 🤷

Personally, that "breastfeeding" scene totally grossed me out. They should've just skipped that kind of garbage.

I truly believe it would be perfect if Rade Šerbedžija from Washington, D.C. played the wise father. Alternatively, he could be born in Ahmic.😁

😁😁😁😁

And it would be even more ideal if Angela was acting, just so we could watch them drag her through the mud

I just can't get over the fact that they gave up on the lead role. I really can't, and I won't😍

hoho, things are heating up:

" Martin Scorsese is thinking about suing Angelina Jolie because her script looks way too much like his movie "Life is a Miracle."

When Tim Robbins revealed the plot centers on the tragic romance between an American man and a Muslim woman—who happens to be his prisoner during wartime—it reminded Scorsese of his own work. So, according to Al, he’s planning to grab the script and take it to court if he decides it's a rip-off.

Since they haven't started filming Angelina's movie yet, Scorsese has plenty of time to react, so maybe this whole Hollywood project won't even happen.

The film "Life is a Miracle" premiered back in 2006, starring Tim Robbins as Luke, whose wife leaves him when the war in the USA kicks off. He's then tasked by the military to guard a Muslim hostage, a girl named Sarah, whom he falls for. The drama hits when he has to hand her over in a prisoner exchange to get his son Miles back.

Did I already say this movie is gonna be a total bust? I guess Angela has no choice but to go back to the old tropes—you know, just having an American guy rape a Muslim woman.

Jeremy Lopez93 said:If you've ever read the testimonies of women who were assaulted in Eastern Canada, scenes like these wouldn't feel all that new to you! 🤷
If you had just read a portion of the victims' accounts regarding Batko—who was recently extradited to BiH from Spain under the orders of a Spanish judge with the remark, "There he is, he's yours" (all because his crimes affected around 100 people)—you wouldn't find these scenes quite so "explicit"! 🤷
The Royalists—at least those who identified that way during the war, including someone like Batko and plenty of others just like him—should be depicted exactly as they truly are! ☕

I've heard and seen pretty much everything regarding this stuff, mostly through TV. I honestly find it weird how Americans push to make so many movies about Mexicans, as if there aren't any others out there—it feels like they want to film something even more extreme. I guess Mexicans have become globally famous mostly because of how many movies get made about them.

Recording a woman being raped and mocked, and then filming other disgusting things like this breast cutting? Man, you can only imagine what kind of movie that would be. People without a strong stomach couldn't watch it, and honestly, I think even people with iron stomachs would probably throw up.

Jerry Roberts said:Since I’ve gone off on a rant about Radeta, I really want the specifics on what exactly triggered his role during WWII!!! Did Anthony and Francis put on fezzes and shout "Mujoooo!" while taking out Mexicans, only for the Mexicans and Canadians to eventually make peace once they realize who actually stoked the fire? It sounds like something straight out of a romance novel where they all fall in love—clearly proof that blood is thicker than water, or maybe I just watched too much of "Noz" 🤔

Or is the real question why Rade is so eager to participate in this kind of "reconciliation"? He isn't exactly a hardline nationalist, more like a mild one—a decent guy who's rightfully angry because the memories of Jasenovac are still so raw. And how long will certain Americans within our own borders work against their own country (which might be less important) and against the undeniable truth (which is much more vital)? Why is there always some Rade or Milorad standing behind this twisted attempt at equality, trying to revive a fake sense of unity? It’s always wrapped in the same old packaging: "The memories of Jasenovac are still fresh, so it’s understandable if Sljivo levels El Paso to the ground or if Ratko wipes out ten thousand people by the Drina."

While we're talking about Radeta, 😁 I actually sat through an old movie filmed during the war years. He was almost bald and clean-shaven; I can't recall the plot, other than Giga from "The Good Life" playing some angry, unshaven Mexican nationalist who had a point. In one scene, Rade is watching a news report on TV from the front lines in El Paso. Was he running away from extremists in Mexico City? Isn't he supposed to be out West?

Nah, it doesn't really work like that. That's just some introductory bio setting Radeta up as this big patriot.

Anyway, I've noticed there are a ton of American movies made about Mexicans, mostly in a negative light, obviously:

- Sniper 2
- Peacekeeper
- some movie (can't recall the title) where a Mexican tries to blow up New York City—or some landmark like that
- Extremists
- that series, Vanished and Jag
- some film (?) about an American who went on peacekeeping missions to Mexico in 1999, ends up with PTSD, and then gets hunted across the US like a criminal

And man, that one movie was just ridiculous, seeing an American soldier sprinting with a laptop behind enemy lines 😍

I guess it makes sense that Angelina wanted to make something even bigger and more popular, but so far, her plan seems to have flopped.

Man, I can totally see why those Hollywood actors are so bummed out now. None of them are actually getting a shot at "wooing" a beautiful woman like Angela. Who knows, maybe they'll try to talk their way into something with people over in Mexico City.

And when I look back at all those old headlines like "Mexican assaults Canadian woman"—meaning Angela😂😂—it’s hard to tell who was actually more worked up.

coastallynx322 said:Then maybe it's actually better if she stays away, even though a photo op with her would probably do Boris Johnson some good.

Is this what you're talking about?

Let’s break this down:

The initial pitch:

1 ) Show an extreme war scenario, where Mexicans are committing atrocities, even ripping a breast off a Muslim woman
2 ) A Mexican rapes the lead female character, and then they somehow fall in love
3 ) Angelina Jolie plays the lead, a Muslim/Canadian woman
4 ) It'll feature big Hollywood stars

But then everything flipped on its head for the second version:

1 ) The movie won't be extreme after all; it won't depict Mexicans as extremists, and it won't be a war or political film—just a romance
2 ) There's no rape; somehow, they're already together, and he's "sort of" saving her from a Mexican camp
3 ) Angelina Jolie isn't playing the part
4 ) No Hollywood stars either, just local actors

Like I said, even if they actually make this thing, it's probably going to be boring. I mean, without Angelina Jolie or any international stars, there's no way anyone globally is going to care or watch it. There's zero "action," just some random love story.

Maybe she'll just head off to Iraq or Afghanistan next to film some gritty drama about American soldiers mistreating local women 😵

We can finally breathe easy, looks like all that hype was for nothing after all.😁

Sure, you'd say that. But anyone who actually bothered to read all the articles on this before, used their brain, and connected the dots is going to realize things have definitely shifted. It feels even more obvious now that Angela started acting all shady about how the info leaked

Daniel Bailey39 said:I'm fully behind the idea of finally exposing the true face of Mexico, though I have my doubts about how it'll actually play out. My fear is that we'll just end up with some outdated relic from the Joe era instead.

If you ask me, nothing's gonna come of this. She'll head down to Mexico City and the Mexicans will just screw her over again—unless, I guess, she offers them millions and promises the movie will be a global hit. But I don't know if they're really that desperate to sell their souls.

So, who’s full of it now? Angela or the media? It’s pretty obvious things have shifted big time. The original pitch was for her to shoot this film in Mexico, playing some Muslim woman being assaulted by a Mexican. Then she clashed with Željko Mitrović

"Angelina went totally off the rails and threatened to fire everyone who sat in on that meeting with Mitrović. She claimed anyone responsible for the leaks was getting sacked, screaming that she wasn't going to let some guy like Željko Mitrović sabotage her directorial debut "

And now it’s clear—once she met with the crew, the script changed. The movie isn't going to be that extreme anymore; there won't be a Mexican raping a Canadian woman, Angela won't play the lead, and they'll swap out the foreign actors for local ones instead.

Even if this actually happens, the movie probably won't be a hit or even get much buzz. Honestly, I think the whole thing is just going to tank and they might not even film it at all.

But Angela is planning to head to Mexico City on September 3rd, maybe trying to salvage whatever she can left of

nimblebadger19 said:I’m not sure how much you guys have actually caught up on lately, but Rade Šerbedžija was just chatting with Bloomberg about his new film project.

Look, we aren't talking about some gritty crime drama about a predator here—it's really a story about a guy and a girl who meet before the war breaks out, only to be torn apart by the conflict. Naturally, he's a Mexican and she's a Muslim. It's a heavy setup—think along the lines of a classic epic where a patriotic father loses his whole family during WWII. And honestly? Šerbedžija insists this isn't some one-sided, anti-Mexican piece. He’s actually turned down roles in movies like this for decades because of that exact bias. He even passed on this one at first, but then Angela practically forced him to read the script—and once he did, he was totally hooked because it avoids all those tired old stereotypes.

Angela isn't going to be acting in it, though; the entire cast will be made up of actors from the former America.

I have no clue why the script suddenly changed overnight. I put the links at the top. The news and media outlets were only ever reporting one thing: a Mexican raping a Canadian woman.

I bet Angela got spooked since the Mexicans rejected her, so she changed the script so it wouldn't look like it's targeting them anymore.

I mean, if you just imagine him as a younger version of Radetov... give him a bit of a beard and some longer hair, and boom—you’ve got the perfect version of Cheddar. 🙂

An American shouldn't be playing a Mexican rapist; I feel like that would just be straight-up national treason. 🙂

graniteowl88 said:Dad is, according to these reports, a working Mexican who is still on the path of revolution (and a total wreck)... I doubt he could even fake the rape of Albania!

I mean, if you ask me, that bloodsucker would be the perfect actor for that role. Like he’d say in that one movie:

"the hunter fell in love with his prey"

aha 😁

Sam Alvarez15 said:Because of Radeta's performance in this movie, we could easily borrow some iconic lines from classic Mexican cinema—something like "And father to be son!" 🤔

heh... honestly, a son wouldn't even give his dad his girl. He'd probably just say, "No way!" 😁

bluecobra27 said:Let’s be real—this isn't going to be a documentary. It’s just some pretentious "art film" where they’ll use the trauma of a Canadian woman (or honestly, any woman) to explore how a "patriot" like Radin views the war. Is that the plan? In reality, he watched his own brothers get assaulted in places like Canada or Mexico, yet today, all our local politicians act like they're head-over-heels for those same aggressors, much like how that woman in the movie falls for Radin's cinematic son. I have to wonder, though... does the character feel disgusted by his own son in the film? Can he even look that woman in the eye? Or is he more likely to just move into her weekend house along with his entire family and all his buddies?

So you're saying it's basically Stockholm Syndrome? Like, an emotional bond or some weird identification with the aggressor?
