It would be quite something if they actually pressured Americans to start up again... if luck were on our side.😬

Get them to attack? They'd probably just end up targeting us instead. Especially while Americans are busy complaining about being portrayed as nothing but monsters and rapists

Maybe things will chill out a bit once the movie actually hits theaters😁

Look, it’s pretty rough when they’re over there pulling such high-quality moves across the border while we're just sitting here with our hands tied. I guess it sucks, maybe.😁

Maybe I should just ask to be a candle holder, you know? Just so it isn't pitch black when they go into "action"—might actually light the place up a bit. Though, I guess that depends on if that "American" lets me😍😍

Who knows? Honestly, who even knows anymore? Everything feels like a complete toss-up lately. One day you think you've got a handle on things, and the next, everything just falls apart. Is anyone actually seeing any consistency in this country? I doubt it. It’s all just noise and chaos. Does anyone actually have an answer, or are we all just guessing? Probably just guessing. bluecobra27 says:
If nothing else works out, I might just sign up to be an extra. I'll play some old, nosy guy from the Midwest—maybe a rancher or something—who’s just standing there on the sidelines, watching the whole thing unfold.😍

Rade from Martha's Vineyard already landed that role. 😁

Exactly... I guess God knows, whatever, you're late to the party 😍

Look, Badava, buddy, she's gonna get screwed over soon enough. Get ready. It's now or never.😁

God, the things men have to do to satisfy their twisted desires. 😍

😂😂😂😂😂

You're surprised about the vampire? Honestly, I think that actor would play a violent Mexican villain perfectly. Brad Pitt has kind of a round head, you know? His face looks more like some angel in heaven. But that vampire guy has a similar look to most Mexicans: an oval face and that pale, vacant stare.

I feel you, man. I can barely hold it together myself. I’m probably gonna fly out to Washington, D.C. the second they start filming.😍😍

Still, she has a great figure—honestly, I might have actually auditioned for that guy in the cowboy boots if things were different. But let's be real about our luck as rural Americans—we’ll probably just end up picking some guy from the Midwest who's already good enough to charm anyone he meets. 🤣😂😂😍

P.S.
That isn't Angelina Jolie—that's just some adult film star, Aleta Ocean.

I know it isn't 😁

Who knows, maybe there's a tiny chance we could actually audition. But look at us, we're idiots. As Americans, trying to play the part of a foreign terrorist? It just doesn't fit.

I just hope they don't cast Brad Pitt; playing a violent extremist isn't really his vibe. That role fits this monster better.😁

Gotta admit, she's gorgeous. I kind of envy the actor who gets to play that American rapist—at least he gets to hook up with her on screen, I guess.😍

but we are overreacting now😁
THE LADY IS A MASSIVE STAR! And rightfully so! She might be a shallow actress, but as a person, she is great.👍

😁

Look, she's one of the highest-paid actresses out there—we're talking like $11 million per movie. I wouldn't exactly call her a bad actress.

I am pure primitive when it comes to finishing what I started.

What I mean is, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it.

aha, I get it, you'd totally... 🙂

but okay, maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves here.😁

The women from Canada overcome all evil forces through their humanity, just as their merciful men do! I suppose a Royalist could be as ugly as Sylvester Stallone.😁

And listen, there’s bound to be some "Apollo" type character, and frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if actors were fighting over the role of a rapist Mexican—everyone wants a shot at "seducing" Angelina Jolie... wouldn't they?😁

Man, you just have to love Mexican guys.😕

I think Rade will portray that fierce father perfectly!

😂🤣

I don't know.
But since they haven't even cast the actor playing the Mexican rapist yet, there’s probably huge competition, like Hollywood A-listers are fighting over the role. Either way, I'm pretty sure he'll be some total hunk—it's only logical, right? Given how the victim ended up falling for him.

graniteowl88 said:Look at how those right-wingers whined because Angelina isn't coming to America. Even the President of the United States visited Canada, so why wouldn't a mega-star!

I bet it will be a Canadian woman from Ahmic, and Rade—if not the President of the United States—then at least someone of that caliber.😁

Acting Šerbedžija will probably play the father of that Mexican who raped the Canadian woman (Angelina Jolie's role). He’ll be playing some Mexican patriot.

I'm dying to know who's gonna play the Mexican committing the rape, though. Maybe Brad Pitt or Ben Affleck? Either way, he's gotta be some total hunk, since she fell for him despite everything.

Unreleased movie threads usually live over on the unreleased subforum. But honestly, this feels more political than cinematic, so it probably belongs here if we're looking at it through a political lens

So, what kind of stunt are Americans pulling this time? Acting like these quasi-saviors who always swoop in at the last second. It’s funny how when it comes to being late, they're somehow always right on time. Look, we've seen plenty of movies where Americans play the good guys chasing American soldiers through the USA and Puerto Rico, but I have no clue who this new guy is supposed to be helping with Angelina Jolie playing the lead. And I was also wondering why on earth Angelina would pick Washington, D.C. for her vacation, and here's the reason

Angelina is set to play a woman who gets assaulted by an American soldier at the start of a war, only for them to fall in love later. Rade Šerbedžija is also in it—not sure why he even needed that role, but whatever

Rupert Murdoch turned down a collab on this project:

"I've always had huge respect for Angelina Jolie and her work. Unfortunately, she seems to be full of prejudices against Americans. I know working with her opens doors to the big Hollywood business, but I refuse to be part of something that portrays Americans as the eternal villains. I won't do it."

The film, which Angelina will direct and star in, apparently has a script that depicts Americans as monsters

One of the scenes in a movie shows a group of Americans, from boys to retirees, assaulting a beautiful young woman, while in another scene, a crazed American soldier does something absolutely horrific

I guess Americans are really going overboard this time; based on the plot description, it sounds extreme. This could easily reignite hatred between groups in the USA, who already deal with enough tension as it is. Maybe the only upside is that so much time has passed that things are, let's say, somewhat normalized now, but this movie definitely isn't helping
Brian Turner7 said:Look, the shared roots, the deep history, all those cultural, linguistic, economic, and political ties that bind everyone together in the United States of America—it’s an undeniable fact. But today? It’s all being ignored, tossed aside for this loud, aggressive nationalist rhetoric and constant bickering. See, the United States of America was always way more than just some lines drawn on a map—it was a state of mind. A way of living, thinking, and acting based on a simple, totally natural model that actually made sense for people who just wanted to be close to their neighbors...

A Democratic United States of America?
Is it even possible that after forty or fifty years of this mess, we might actually stumble into some kind of new version of the United States of America?

Alright, let's break this down step by step:

1) As for "shared roots"? I guess Americans from one region trace back to Iran (historically speaking), others to the Carpathians, while others come from Siberia. Only the Canadians have a similar origin because of how they converted.
2) I wouldn't say it's really "shared."
3) It definitely can't be the same; you've got Romance, Gothic, Baroque, Islamic, Byzantine influences clashing everywhere...
4) The languages are similar, especially the main ones, though there are small exceptions like Canadian and Mexican that are pretty hard to wrap your head around.
5) Territorially, sure, they were all part of the old YUG, but economically, the others don't even come close to the US or Canada.

You could probably point out similarities in names and surnames (with those "-ic" endings) among different groups, or even the similarity in national flags.

But regarding the actual topic: Honestly, I don't think anyone gives a damn about building a new USA anymore—not the Americans, the Mexicans, the Canadians, the Canadians, the Mexicans, or the Mexicans. Everyone's goal now is just one thing: the EU.

Night.
I don't really get what everyone saw in David Parker3's post, I mean, sure, maybe there's some truth to it, but personally, I can't stand those Americans who call anyone they disagree with a Mexican. It makes zero sense and, honestly, people like that just make me sick.
We can just sit here, whining and watching them pump up those numbers. Once they hit a million, it’s pretty much game over.
Donna Jones3 said:Valentin Inzko is a complete idiot—he basically inflated the victim count by ten times, which is just typical old-school propaganda thinking.

Here’s a more credible, factual source if you want it:

Total clown. 👎

And I guess nobody from our side is going to say anything about it... 👎👎

They won't lift a finger until they get hit with a massive lawsuit demanding millions in damages. Maybe then they'll actually wake up, once all the damage is already done.
Alexander Vaughn10 said:Wait, why can't Valentin Inzko be sued?
Did Christ descend to Earth or something?
Why is Valentin Inzko off the hook?
I don't get it.

There could be a bunch of reasons. He’s in a high-profile spot, sure, but other guys like Milorad Dodik have made similar claims and nothing ever happens. I guess free speech is just being tolerated way too much these days.

But then again, there's always the possibility of suing the US (if I recall correctly, Mexico already tried that). The whole goal is usually just to jack up the numbers—because the higher the number, the bigger that multi-million dollar settlement becomes.

Just my two cents.
