After scouring the web for ages, I finally tracked down the name of the medication that saved me from a massive headache while on a ferry last year. It took me forever to figure out the name—I basically sent hundreds of emails to pharmacies across the EU just to get an answer. It’s a powder called Tylenol 500mg. Does anyone know if this is available here in the States, or maybe some way to order it through a local pharmacy?

So, I picked up Windows Vista about a decade ago and installed it on my desktop.
The desktop finally kicked the bucket, so I tried to install the original Windows Vista disc on my laptop. Big mistake. Now, after a month of use, everything is locked down except for the activation prompt.
Even though this was an original disc I grabbed from a Best Buy clearance sale, Microsoft is flagging it as a bootleg. Is there any way to bypass this, or should I just call Microsoft support?
Anyone dealt with this nonsense before? Any advice?

Geico experience: a total disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, my registration expired, and a buddy told me Progressive had the best rates. I hopped onto their site, plugged in all my car and owner info, hit the "calculate" and "pay" buttons a few times, and—surprise, surprise—it was a complete bust.
Every time I got to the checkout, the system kept flagging my data as incorrect.

How is everything wrong when I'm pulling every single detail straight from my driver’s license and registration?

I spent the entire afternoon re-entering the same info over and over, just to have this glitchy software block me at every turn. Whoever designed this interface clearly forgot to include a simple error message explaining *which* specific field was triggering the rejection so I could actually fix it and pay.

When you weigh it all up... the headache, the wasted hours... was it really worth saving those $67??????

Since I couldn't find an open thread here specifically discussing suicide, and seeing as one was recently locked, I wanted to bring up the connection between mental health crises and road safety. Specifically, can we do anything to help people before they take their own lives and end up killing innocent bystanders in the process?
I actually started a discussion on another thread about a highway accident where it looks like the driver went the wrong way on a major interstate, essentially committing suicide and taking two innocent people with them.
What kind of methods could actually identify these types of tendencies in drivers?
Can extreme road rage triggered by someone else's minor mistake be seen as a red flag for this, or is it something else entirely? More importantly, can society implement any effective ways to mitigate the fallout from these disorders?
Has anyone here ever felt a similar impulse—just pure, dark frustration with traffic situations?

So, I’m looking for some help getting rid of this Zoom intruder.
I tried the usual route through the Control Panel, but no luck. There’s an icon there, and when you click "uninstall," it just loops back to the start without actually doing anything. I even tried reinstalling Zoom, but the second the download finishes, it just reattaches itself.
It’s nowhere in the Start menu, and I can't find any trace of it in my Program Files either.

Anyone have a clue?

In any case, after a week of silence, they called again just yesterday at 1:00 PM—well after standard banking hours—and it was my personal banker once more 🙂. I actually asked her if I might request that she stop calling, and if there were any official notices, she could just send them via USPS, and then I hung up.
So, where does this leave me? Can they actually shut down my account if I refuse to comply with this paperwork?

Stuff like this gets handled by talking to the representative, not by slamming the phone down. You just made things harder for yourself.

Because they’re smart... and apparently, being the smartest person in the room just means you’re always the one giving in.
