Aha. So there's actual sex involved. Well, that changes things. If they just shared a quick kiss and then left it to the imagination—you know, that classic "guess what happens next" vibe—I would have been totally fine with it. But full-on explicit sex scenes? Yeah, that’s a hard pass for me.

How heavy is the steaminess factor here? Like, is this something I can actually sit through with my students 😁?
Movie theater pauses: Yay or nay? in Movies ·
I hit the movie theater pretty regularly, but I’ve honestly never run into one of those films that takes an intermission. Maybe it’s just because I don't usually go for the big Hollywood blockbusters 😉

I just picked up an eye mask from Cosmo! It is honestly amazing being able to sleep in total darkness no matter how much light is coming through the windows. Thanks, Ann!

Jose Miller3 said:I remember walking into this pharmacy in Boise once, just asking, "Hey, do you guys happen to have—and I mean *really* just any kind of earplugs? You know, the little things..." (I started going into detail because, let's face it, I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere), and the woman behind the counter just pulls out four different kinds!!! Foam ones, silicone ones, all sorts, and asks, "Which ones would you like?"

I almost passed out right there on the floor.

I bet if you go to a big drugstore in NYC, they’ve got endless rows of earplugs in every shape and size imaginable!

I can't believe it. I've checked four or five different drugstores myself, and every single time they only had that one type—those foam ones that just scratch my ears up.

😕 So I don't need to fly all the way to Austria, I can just head to the nearest Avon.🤣>

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up some stuff in Washington, D.C.?

You know those sleep masks? The kind that actually blocks out every single bit of light so you can pass out instantly? It’s just like that iconic look Audrey Hepburn pulls off in *Breakfast at Tiffany's*. Honestly, if you want to actually get some rest, you need one.
I went looking for those silicone earplugs at the CVS, but all they had were those foam ones that feel like sandpaper against your skin. Honestly, they're so scratchy!

I swear, I’ve checked every single pharmacy in town, and even CVS is completely wiped out! They just don't have it anywhere!
Are we seriously such a "tiny little nothing" that I actually have to fly all the way to Austria just to deal with this kind of nonsense?😕
Vision correction with Dr. Pavica in Health ·
I actually dropped by that Pavić guy's "office"—it’s just some totally ordinary apartment in a building somewhere over in suburban Chicago; he does his "lectures" in the dining room and handles the consultations in the living room. The guy comes off as really shady and dim, and he's flanked by these two women who are smiling way too much, like they're plastered on. My gut told me something was off, so I bailed before the "lecture" even started. No regrets—I think my intuition was spot on.

Just dropping a number here isn't really doing it justice, so I figured I'd just ramble a bit to fill up the space.🙂

Did anyone else catch this? I watched it a few days ago, and even though it’s definitely not some cinematic masterpiece, it really hit home for me. It felt like such a breath of fresh air compared to all that typical Hollywood garbage we constantly see shoved down our throats here in the States.
The way it pushed that whole globalization agenda was a little grating at times, but honestly, I can forgive it because I had an absolute blast watching it.
Apparently, it’s a sequel to that movie *Spanish apartment*, which I haven't seen yet, but I'm definitely planning to check it out now.
Meet Joe Black in Movies ·
I honestly can't stand movies where the actors are way too good-looking—it’s such a distraction that I can't even focus on what's actually happening in the plot. 😁 That’s exactly why I never have a strong opinion on any movie I've watched starring Brad Pitt. The guy just doesn't seem capable of looking anything less than flawless, even when he's frozen solid and covered in ice in Seven years in Tibet...
