Personally, I find those people absolutely hilarious—you know the ones I mean, the folks signing those Facebook petitions demanding bans on certain performers because they claim, in a thousand different ways, that "this act doesn't represent me or my country." It’s quite the spectacle. They’re sitting there typing away from Germany or somewhere else in Europe, acting all high and mighty. Honestly, brava, you absolute genius... if you're living over there, then why on earth are you trying to dictate what happens here? Which country is actually yours, anyway?

....Actually, the real issue here is that more than half of our water supply is just leaking away because the entire pipe network is ancient and falling apart.

"The city needs to urgently apply for European Union funding to overhaul the water infrastructure and stem these losses, as such high levels of waste are simply unacceptable. It isn't just about the water itself, either; it's about the energy wasted too. Those electric pumps have to work overtime to move water that ends up leaking into the ground," they claim. ...

I can't help but wonder if there wasn't some connection back then to the individual who's now resting beneath the sod—you know, the one who supposedly scraped together a little bit of cash for infrastructure repairs, only for it to likely vanish into the construction of a private swimming pool back in his hometown for himself and his little entourage. It truly baffles me how people can just conveniently forget those kinds of things.🤔

The judge's take was basically this:

"The decision being disputed doesn't actually have retroactive effect; it’s more of a quasi-retroactivity issue... Based on legal theory and consultations with professors from three different law schools, the people affected by this specific measure had legitimate expectations based on final administrative acts. Therefore, in this particular case, a proportionality test had to be conducted. I believe the test showed that the goals New York City intended to achieve by implementing the disputed measure were legitimate, however, it is my opinion that the new measure itself isn't proportionate to the objective it was meant to accomplish," the judge stated just before the vote.

If I'm following this correctly, everything is fine, except for the fact that SHE thinks the new measure isn't proportionate to its goal. In my view, she shouldn't be offering her personal opinions; she should be ruling strictly according to the Law. If what she said is true, then there isn't even a single reason to dispute the verdict.

I'm not sure what you're getting at there, but I'm all ears if you want to start a conversation. kaže:
I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone can actually force a mayor to implement a specific policy. It just doesn't seem feasible.
What kind of law even is that? We’re talking about taxpayer money here, not some legal settlement fund from a courtroom battle. There is absolutely no way this holds up in a federal court, let alone when you consider the massive lawsuits the state would face for handing that cash over to the city.

Those sandwich shops using those old-school panini presses... 😵

Look, if I’m expected to break my back working just to support my own kids and also cover for those people who can't seem to find a job unless they're looking for handouts, then I'm not just a guy making sandwiches—I'm the cook, the waiter, and basically the entire staff rolled into one. Honestly, if you can't provide for your children, you probably shouldn't be having them in the first place. We all saw how Bernie Sanders and the Republican Party used every dirty trick in the book to stall any real progress in this country, and you see the exact same kind of mess happening down in Miami, but things will finally start looking up once we manage to purge this entire layer of corrupt, lazy scum from our society.

Emily Smith6 said:New York City spent roughly $260 million on this support system, and now we’re looking at an ongoing drain of about $6.5 million per month

The Supreme Court ruled that this obligation stands until the very last user is served, which essentially means we'll be cutting checks for $6.5 million every single month for the next 14 years. I guess these are just the kinds of skeletons the previous administration leaves behind; if you think this is bad, imagine what kind of mess the Republican Party is leaving at the national level for future generations to deal with.

Honestly, we need to clear out the entire corrupt establishment and just fly in a few experts from Germany to finally bring some actual order to this chaotic country.

I honestly don't see any chance of this actually happening. This isn't even some major piece of legislation passed by Congress; it’s just a local decision handed down by New York City officials.

Just to set the record straight for those who seem to be under the delusion that things were somehow better back in the day...

Since they can't even manage to light a match, I suppose they couldn't care less about what happens to the small livestock out in the pasture.

It’s clearly not enough for them, so I suppose we might as well start stealing cell phones next. Honestly, whenever anyone mentions they are an Adeze, I don't even hesitate—I just reflexively mutter that they're just another piece of trash.

Kenneth Perez15 said:There were actually a few articles floating around back in February about where that money vanished to. It was just a bit more high-profile before the second round of elections hit.

Regardless, the voters handed her a landslide victory anyway.

And honestly, this whole thing is such a predictable headline. It’s just like what happened with Kirin. These people just raise a massive pile of cash and then the sheeple vote them right back in again. It really makes you wonder about the collective psychology of the electorate.

Charles Fox10 said:And if we just run the math—looking at every single county and local municipality where that same crew holds power—and then factor in... $67 With "costs" like those per unit, we’re looking at a rather sobering figure regarding how much of our money is being flushed away.☕

Or even just looking at the deficit left behind in a town like Oroslavj...

What absolute scum

Where on earth do these people get the audacity to cross borders into another country just to dictate how everyone else should live their lives?
The Royalists were completely exposed when dealing with those folks from Kradezej.
It’s all just a play for power, really. Of course, there will always be a subset of people who find this acceptable, and frankly, they are just as much of a disgrace as the rest.

Absolutely disgusting. Honestly, how do they even show their faces? It’s getting worse by the second right under our feet.

Where on earth has our beloved Parizer disappeared to now that Kradeze is still steering the ship? It honestly feels like we're dealing with an entirely different Kradeze altogether lately.

Messages reveal the truth; did Rimac ask wind farm investors for money to fund the Republican Party? 'I have to close the financial loop.'
The FBI suspects that the former state secretary approached Milenko Bašić at least twice to solicit funds for the party.

Unfortunately, this kind of logic seems to be completely foreign to most people out there. Back during the elections between Bandic and Mrak, I had a whole crowd of folks telling me they weren't going to show up at all; their reasoning was that even though Bandic was an absolute disaster, they just couldn't bring themselves to vote for Mrak because she wasn't easy on the eyes. Honestly, I just don't get it. To think that physical appearance should carry any weight in a decision like that... I truly struggle to comprehend what sort of mindset one must possess to let something so superficial dictate their choice in a situation like this. It’s the exact same pattern we're seeing now.
