FC Barcelona is absolutely throwing these games. It’s ridiculous how he won't sub on a second Forward. We can't break through the middle to find a goal, and that penalty taker is about as accurate as a broken compass.
Classic Washington, D.C. suicide in the final minute. 1) They get a red card just for complaining! 2) Their goalie charges upfield and commits an offensive foul! 3) Their star player gets tossed for dissent!
The Seattle crew still has a massive mountain to climb, like, a huge one...
Anyone got a phone number or an email for Vladimir Anić or Goldstein? I’ve got a brand new word for them.
To pulverize (someone, something) [verb: I pulverize, adverb: pulverizing, adjective: pulverized] to smash a soft mass // To crumble (adjective: crumbled) —to fall apart on the ground, crumbled (adverb: crumbled) —broken into multiple pieces, pulverization (noun)—the state of something soft being smashed on the ground.😂 😂 😂

Man, there weren't any bugs or spiders popping up, but Open Radio was actually working, even if General Motors totally ghosted me.😁
Honestly though, I wasn't sweating the score at all. My heart rate stayed chill, unlike when I was practically hunting down my own heartbeat because of those Mexicans😁.
Seriously guys, I felt like some kind of freak superhero. We’re just straight-up invincible, untouchable...
-For anyone who missed it, I listed the roster and player traits over on page 2
The Pros: -Solid right wing...Sudžum -Decent pivot...Nikolić -Good depth in the perimeter players -Strong left back...Muratović -Defensive specialists...Đukanović, Đurković -They’re legendary at starting the second half; they can swing a game by 4 or 5 goals just like that -Two solid center backs...Stojanović, Anđelković
The Cons: -Weak left wing...Milosavljević -Inconsistent right back...Petrić -Those defensive specialists? They kill our fast break potential -We have two good center backs, but one ends up sitting out -Muratović is a great left back, but he disappears for huge chunks of the game—no clue why -Against the Spaniards, Anđelković is goal-shy and Sudžum 2 is struggling too
I started a new thread for this because honestly, we Americans have had enough of these draws, especially if the Spaniards end up landing some solid Norwegians.
Just caught some highlights of America on CNN, so here's my two cents.
Lineup breakdown by position: -NIKOLIĆ- playing pivot. They’ve got zero backup for him, which is scary. He’s killing it every single game, especially when he's fighting through contact in the paint. -SUDŽUM- left wing. Takes the free throws, one of their top scorers, and honestly one of their best overall players. His cuts from the wing are clinical. -MILOSAVLJEVIĆ- right wing. Honestly? Biggest letdown on the court so far. -ANĐELKOVIĆ- left back. Another standout player. He’s got that Balić vibe where he just finds those gaps in the defense and lets it fly. -backcourt line: On paper, they look the weakest here, but they have enough depth to rotate five guys and keep things fresh. -MURATOVIĆ- left back and definitely the biggest surprise of the tournament. He’s tall, loves to jump into defenders for that jump shot, and if you leave him open, he’s scoring. Every. Single. Time. -PETRIĆ- right back. In my opinion, he's struggling right now, though he still has some individual talent when his jump shot is clicking. -STOJANOVIĆ comes in for Anđelković and does a solid job. He’s got a really reliable mid-range and low shot. -Then you’ve got two of the Krivokapić guys rotating through the wings, and one of them is consistently putting points on the board. DEFENSE- -They’ve basically got two bruisers out there who just flatten anyone in their path. Đurković Inc and Đurković-ne aren't even playing offense; they're just there to wreck people.
Alright folks, I’ve crunched the numbers and put this together, so take it or leave it.
Here’s the most realistic scenario that won't break the bank for us:
Yugoslavia-Spain 1 Norway-Sweden 1 Spain-Norway 1 (we don't even need to worry about the Mexicans) or 2 USA-Yugoslavia 1, assuming the Mexicans already secured their spot in the previous matches
Spain vs Norway 2 -WE NEED THE WIN HERE, BUT THE MEXICANS DON'T 1. USA 8 2. Yugoslavia 7 3. Norway 7 4. SPA4
3) The only remaining way we don't need to beat Yugoslavia Spain vs Yugoslavia 1 Sweden vs Norway 1 Norway vs Spain 1—again, a win means nothing to the Norwegians, so probably won't happen
