Usually, they don't charge a rental fee for the space itself! It just depends on the menu and how much everyone drinks—basically, you pay based on the headcount and the tab at the end.

That’s going to run you about $1,500 $667....

Honestly, this would be way cooler than a limo... http://img687.imageshack.us/i/pirslika.jpg/

The only issue is its maximum range 1.2 miles ....

The spread: 14 slices of prosciutto
8 slices of cheese
8 olives
And the French dressing was so sour it was basically inedible....

And that was just two platters for 10 people!

The food was coming out in tiny drips..... and after midnight, we were waiting 20 minutes just for drinks....

We even waited nearly an hour just to get coffee....

As for the host, he was something else—he greeted guests in a polo shirt instead of a suit, holding a cigar in his hand.....

The only bright spot? The AC was great.......

All in all, the party was a total circus......

Here’s a little intel for the guys... since the ladies are pretty much running this corner of the forum right now...

- Let the better half handle the heavy lifting when it comes to picking the venue, the photographer, and the vendor list. Your main job? Just make sure you actually grab all those phone numbers...
When we were scouting venues on a Saturday afternoon, we made sure to visit between 5 and 7 PM just to see how the space looks when it's fully decorated and lit up...

- If you’re struggling with that bottom button on your dress shirt, watch what you eat during the final week. We all know how it goes—the house is full of food and those extra couple of pounds sneak on easily. Then suddenly, it’s Saturday morning and that last button is fighting for its life!

- Let's be real: 90% of us men have two left feet when it comes to dancing. Don't let your bride get nothing but polite applause during the first dance while you shuffle around the floor like two old men at a retirement home.
In just three hours of practice, you can nail a three-minute routine that will absolutely blow everyone away. Plus, your wife will be bragging about you for the rest of her life.
Honestly, if I can pull off a choreographed routine after only three hours of practice, anyone can do it!

There's an ad right on the highway in Santa Monica........

To be honest, limos just aren't really "in" anymore...

Well, it’s finally happened... after 11 long months of trying to close this deal—everything wrapped up perfectly!

Huge thanks to everyone here for all the great advice...

Tomorrow, I'll be dropping some tips specifically for the guys... and we're talking real, practical advice here...

So, where does that leave us now?😢

Word on the street from Fable...

There isn't a single thing happening at the wedding center...
trio bolero

Has anyone here actually tried this? I'd love to hear some feedback!

Nicole Kim11 said:From what I’ve seen, everyone seems to be raving about Viva... even those other two bands I’ve been tracking. One of the regulars on here, Blackie, used Viva before—you might want to shoot her a DM for the real scoop, but if I recall correctly, she was absolutely thrilled with them. As for the other two, I can't quite place who used them... maybe try digging through this thread 🤷 a bit more... but honestly, I haven't heard a single bad word about any of them. Just a heads-up, Viva stays pretty booked out... they keep a full schedule of availability right on their website. Good luck...

I actually heard a rumor that some folks refused to pay Viva because their set totally ruined the wedding... yikes. Apparently, they had three gigs in a row, and the lead singer sounded like a raspy chicken! The guests were basically yawning through the whole thing...

Does anyone happen to have a full list of all the bands with their numbers?
Brian Martin98 said:Hey everyone! I could really use some help here... I'm getting married this summer in San Diego, and while I've already checked most things off my list (yeahhhhh!), I'm still struggling to find accommodations for my guests. Since a lot of them are traveling from out of state, I need something solid. Does anyone know of any nice apartments right in the heart of downtown San Diego or maybe somewhere close to the beach? I would be soooooooo grateful if you could shoot me the details via DM.

Thanks!!!

If you're looking at July or August, you are definitely going to have a tough time finding a spot!

So, I headed out to the expo today... honestly, what a total letdown.

They build up this massive hype about having over 300 exhibitors, but when you actually show up, there are barely 60. To make matters worse, at least 20 of them traveled all the way from outside San Francisco just to take up space without offering anything useful.

The organizers must have blown $0.00 on advertising just to get people through the door, only to leave them with absolutely nothing to show for it once they arrive.

Thank goodness the raffle was the one bright spot—everyone walked away with something!

Just finished checking out the wedding expo at the Grand Hyatt... It’s definitely feeling a bit crowded today! Still, you should absolutely swing by just to grab some business cards and info...
