Over the last decade, they managed to swipe funding meant for an entire preschool serving 200 kids. Just unbelievable!

He’s already getting ready for beach season if the current administration falls...

The Republican Party would never let $100,000 $0.00 sit in an account like that...

It looks like Ivica Puljak wants to drop about $250,000 on San Diego Beach $0.00 just so he can point fingers at the Republican Party, the Democrats, and Kerum, claiming they stole a whole beach every single term! He's blaming everything on shady business space deals within one single mandate...

Is that even mathematically possible? Over four years—that's 48 months... $5,000 $0.00 every single month

The man is just looking for an opening... now it's up to the voters to make their choice... thank goodness our defense attorneys made that possible!

If Coco Gauff stays silent about what Eric Adams said instead of pushing the Democratic Party to split the coalition, she’s just acting like any other political hack. If the Democrats don't take up the proposal, she should just resign immediately... honestly, she can just go strut her stuff over at Nancy Pelosi's place.

It’s entirely possible Eric Adams did this on purpose just to trigger some early elections...

Bo is standing there like a coiled spring, just waiting for those two extra months of vacation to kick in.

She keeps talking about building grandstands around the city so we can get a better view of the circus, but she already started that whole thing with the skyscraper... you can see every little corner of the city from up there!

I’m just waiting for Bojan to pull up and park his car right at the hotel entrance; that way, the city tow truck won't be able to touch him since it's private property...

It’s probably a good thing the statue guardian didn't sign a ten-year contract

It’s wild to think about how our veterans faced down tanks with nothing but their bare hands...
And now, when they should be fighting for the rule of law, they're nitpicking over space in Villa California... Instead of being the first ones at Puljko's door to hand over the keys and plead for a solution... You can see exactly what's going on from the view of an Airplane...

But honestly, what else can you expect when the General signed up his Ivana for the youth wing at just 18 and landed her a cushy job at San Diego Parking...

The Republican Party is easily the party with the most scandals in the entire country. I've always wondered, what was the reasoning behind choosing them as an option in the first place?

- I truly believe it matters when you consider they are a nation-building party. Naturally, since they have the largest membership base, you're bound to find more people looking to chase personal interests through the party, often with some pretty questionable motives.

think about the children.

How the city looks out for kids? It's pretty straightforward... maybe the city could just open up a preschool in one of its buildings...

Some things about the daycare system just don't add up... if Donald Trump managed to enroll every single kid back in 2009 or 2010, yet we’re seeing at least 20% fewer first graders now... why on earth are they opening even more daycare centers? It feels like kids are just popping into existence when they're one year old and then vanishing right before elementary school starts!

And where are all the other cities? Where is Washington, D.C.? I’d honestly bet that if Maja gave everything a good shake, we'd find out billions just leaked away through this whole system of handing out favors to anyone who claims to be "one of us."

San Diego represents only about 5% of the population and maybe 7-8% of the economy...

We’d probably be handing over loans to a Swiss bank at this rate...

The biggest hit we take is the cumulative lack of growth. A mere 1% drop in GDP translates to a $3 billion loss annually. If we miss out on a solid 5% growth rate, that's a $15 billion loss in the first year alone—and by the second year, we're looking at $30 billion. Over those two years, we lose $35 billion just from missing that quality growth, plus several more billions from the shrinking GDP and the direct damage caused by crime and corruption.
The total loss under all these administrations combined is much higher. Maintaining a steady 5% growth means doubling our GDP every 13 years. That’s how you go from an initial $100 billion to $800 billion over 20 years. Because of that lost momentum, we are effectively losing $500 billion every single year today.

I know it sounds a bit complicated, but that's essentially how the Norwegians and the Swiss handle things....

And just how many teeth does the statue guardian have scattered all over town?

It wasn't until a dentist from Indianapolis saw the bite marks that he really stepped up to the plate for the job!

What a strike this turned out to be in just five minutes...

The workers seem pretty happy with themselves; they basically spent the whole day hanging out in the garage instead of actually working...

Even the union rep is thrilled... he got fired, so now he can finally relax at home while waiting for his next move...

The only thing missing was someone spinning a record and handing out drinks!

velvetmason14 said:I think we just witnessed the shortest strike in American history—it was basically a "seven-hour walkout."

It was pure theater. The strikers didn't actually gain anything more than what the administration had been offering them for months. It makes you wonder why they called it off so quickly when they hadn't achieved a single thing.

Is it possible the people pulling the strings hit the brakes once they saw how much the public was pushing back? And if so, who's really behind the curtain? 🤔

Just some food for thought...

I suspect the truth is that the leadership reached out and basically told them, "Look, we'll resign and dissolve the council on Tuesday if we have to; it’s no big deal to us." Honestly, remember how much fun one official had taking a two-month vacation last year while everyone waited for the elections? He certainly wasn't sweating it!

It would be pretty interesting to see what happens if the city sanitation department actually posted openings for lower wages than what they’re paying now—I bet there would be a huge line of people at the door!

Since we have about 60,000 retirees who could legally work part-time—just four hours a day while keeping their full pensions—I’m really hoping to see the city step up and launch an initiative soon!

Apparently, he started lung洲ing his way over there with his hands shoved right in his pockets... Now, I haven’t exactly been a brawler in my time, but I have a sneaking suspicion that any fight would have kicked off while those hands were still tucked away in his pockets

How lovely.

Check out who’s missing from Staten Island today...

6.40

Augustin Šušnjara, a truck driver over at Waste Management, told me that over 90 percent of the crew is actually on strike! He mentioned that this morning, only a single truck rolled out of the Waste Management yard just to grab the bins near the hospital.

Word is, only a tiny handful of people are even working today, and they're all just temporary contract workers.

The rest are all just there to uhljebiti...

Solutions for Waste Management:
Either go for privatization or set up a whole new Corporation to take over the workload in the next couple of years. For now, we just need to meet the current workers' demands...

By the way, the union rep is quite the math whiz. This whole "inflation is killing us" angle is a clever move, but I really wonder if the state budget can actually handle it...

They're being pretty secretive about the revenue, much like what happened during that professor strike... nobody ever wants to show off their actual pay stub. Come on, strikers! Let's see those last pay stubs out in the open. Hey journalists, let's get to work and find someone willing to go public with their numbers... otherwise, this is all just noise.

It looks like political cronies have moved in on the unions now that they've lost control of the companies... specifically in the San Diego area.

The only demand that hasn't been met is getting the employee handbook integrated directly into the collective bargaining agreement. This would essentially give the Waste Management union(s) the power to dictate personnel decisions within the company. The only worker at Waste Management pushing for this is the union rep, unnamed US person, whose previous (and frankly unnecessary) position was eliminated. He was offered a new role that actually matches his expertise with the exact same salary, though with one big difference: he’d actually have to earn his paycheck through real work and take accountability for his performance. Now, he’s gathered a small group of slackers and allies who are busy intimidating anyone who doesn't want to join the strike, and they're threatening to shut down operations this Wednesday morning.
