I spent six damn years managing their website... then life just got too busy and I had to step away...
My name actually ended up on the album cover...
All I can say is, nobody does it better than him. If you want to know what it looks like when someone pours pure emotion into music, look at Blackie...
And regarding that whole Forever Free thing... it’s not about some girl... it’s about his imagination...
Now, as for the real heavy hitters...
Neutron Bomber, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Tormentor, Sleeping in the Fire, The Heretic, The Invisible Boy, The Great Misconceptions of Me, L.O.V.E. machine, Forever Free, Wild Child, Phantoms in the Mirror... if you're into this stuff, most of these tracks are legendary...
But honestly, the absolute peak of their work has to be The Heretic, The Headless Children, and The Great Misconceptions of Me...
Salton Sea - okay Salton Sea - okay dog love - phenomenal Mothman's prophecies - meh... Ghost Ship - pointless / seen it before Spy - okay The 13th Warrior - realized halfway through I'd already seen it - decent enough Spanish Prisoner - watched it while hungover - eh... Confessions of a Dangerous Mind - okay
I haven't seen anything this brainless in a long, long time... Honestly... if they keep going like this, Friday the 13th is going to drive me insane...
The only decent part was when the girl pulls off his mask and you finally get to see all the rugged charm of our boy DJ
The whole movie just feels like a desperate, pathetic grab for some quick cash at the box office...
Just kidding... I don't exactly live next door to the video store, so I only make the trip on weekends (they have a solid selection, but it’s 6.2 miles from my place). During the week, I'm stuck with the local rental shop. The movies are alright, but the staff there? They basically exist just to clock in and watch the hours tick by while doing the absolute bare minimum...
Like I mentioned before, I'm pulling up to 12-hour shifts, so it's a real pain when I get home... trying to rush out to the rental place just to drop off a movie...
I know this question is a bit cliché, but PLEASE give me some movie recommendations that you actually loved!!!
Whenever I walk into a video rental store, I just feel nauseous looking at all the mindless garbage, cheap Hollywood trash, and those pathetic wannabe comedies...
I'm working up to 12 hours a day lately, so I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to cinema... RIGHT NOW I'M RELYING ON THE TASTE OF THE CLERK AT THE VIDEO STORE, who I finally gave up on after I asked her for "something good" and she responded: have you maybe seen Titanic???
Whatafak ????
So pleeeeeeeaaaaase, be kind and recommend something... I mean... how much typing does it take...
If we're talking internal hemorrhoids—get some ointment, see a doctor, and stop eating all that spicy, greasy, sugary, or salty junk...
If they're external—you need to wash with COLD water after every single bathroom trip, use soft toilet paper (think Charmin Ultra Soft), and apply some Preparation H every couple of days before bed (apply it and just let it dry)...
Assuming they aren't chronic, you really shouldn't be having issues after about a month...
A few ground rules to follow: - Don't sit on cold surfaces - Wash up after every bathroom visit - Pat dry thoroughly until everything is completely dry; don't do what most people do where they just swipe once with the paper—moisture is basically an invitation for bacteria... - Use cold or lukewarm water, but absolutely nothing hot, because heat just makes the swelling worse... - Cut out the heavy spice and strong alcoholic drinks - If things are getting a bit too solid and uncomfortable, drink more neutral liquids (water, tea) shortly after meals to help digestion, which makes everything much easier and prevents further damage...
If they become chronic, unfortunately, the only real fix is cauterization or surgery... sadly...
