If you’ve got the cash, go with any private provider.
You can just wire the funds directly from your own Wells Fargo account.
It bugs me just as much. Why is certified mail even an option? It’s basically their way of admitting, "Yeah, we’re sloppy and we might lose your stuff." Is it really too much to ask that when you pay for shipping, the package actually shows up? 😢
So, once again, I’m hearing that the minimum package dimensions are 9x14 cm. 😁
Justin Gray56, just send the book as a hard copy. As long as you bring it in an open envelope, they’ll just take a quick look and seal it back up. It'll cost you next to nothing in postage.

It works. $67Should I take the gamble and set the value at 80... or what? What's actually my best move here?

And let me ask one more time,Can I just ship the robot the way I’ve wrapped it—paper, bag, taped up, everything neat and tidy—but without using one of those flimsy bubble mailers??🤔
Should I include an image to show how this ought to look? I’m not entirely sure if the system will accept it—I had the same thought last time, but I ended up not sending anything anyway.🤷

It’s over. You can't just send it via snail mail. 🙂
You could just bundle it all together as a package deal. Why make it more complicated than it needs to be? $27So, that's your idea of a good time? Fine by you, I suppose.
Can you send it in your own packaging? And if you do, make sure it’s wrapped properly—I'm talking high-quality paper, maybe something a bit lighter, and an absolutely flawless wrap job. Is that too much to ask? 🙂
The only thing you can really do is insist on getting a tracking number. As long as your envelope is larger than 3x5 inches, they can't turn you away... and honestly, if one branch gives you trouble, why not just head over to a different USPS location?
Yeah, you can. Just make sure you have your shipping label already filled out when you hand over the envelope. You don't want to get caught off guard at the counter.
You can easily run all the calculations on www.usps.com without any trouble at all..
You really ought to put your working hours in writing. Most of the time, you can push it to 12:00 PM at most.
Honestly, I have no idea why I’m even wasting my breath on this thread or bothering to answer any of your questions..
Look, my comment covers just about every angle. It isn't really about the size of the city; it’s just bizarre to me that a major bank would close its doors at 4:00 PM. They're practically doing themselves a disservice, aren't they? And what about my point regarding them opening early in the morning? You didn't really address that. Personally, I find the "best" comments are always the ones filled with nothing but mindless insults and zero actual substance.
Unfortunately, you just ran into a textbook example of an AT&T employee. Those who are actually polite or helpful are rare exceptions. By the way, those white forms are usually right there within reach—you shouldn't have to hunt for them; just grab what you need at the shipping counter. Just make sure that specific branch actually accepts the type of package you're trying to send, since they don't take everything. Personally, I usually just grab a handful of those forms to fill out in peace at home, and nobody ever gives me a second look for it..
When we talk about delivery deadlines, we’re referring to the window between when a package is accepted and when it actually hits the recipient's hands. Acceptance time is officially clocked by the postmark on the receipt—or directly on the parcel itself if no receipt was issued.

Deadlines for Transit and Delivery

AT&T is required to deliver mail within the following timeframes:

1. For items received at a city headquarters and addressed to someone within that same city or a different city headquarters:
one business day for priority shipments;
three business days for all other mail;
2. For all other shipments traveling to areas not covered in point 1:
two business days for priority shipments;
four business days for everything else.
3. For shipments heading to islands where reliable or timely transit isn't available, the deadlines mentioned in points 1 and 2 are extended by one day.
The following aren't included in the calculation of the deadlines from points 1, 2, and 3:
the day the item is received;
delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete addresses;
delays resulting from force majeure or traffic congestion beyond AT&T's control;
non-business days and days when mail delivery isn't performed.

If a shipment arrives after the final dispatch cutoff at a post office, expect the deadlines to be extended by an additional day.

They’ve got boxes available. I can't say if they're actually a good deal... but they have them.
Is this actually going to happen to my wallet? 🙂
What kind of bank operates until 4 PM? And you’re telling me there isn't a single branch open later? Hm... So they start at 7 AM then, so you can squeeze them in before work?
If you wrapped the box in solid light-colored paper, attached the string, and actually FILLED OUT the shipping form marking the package service option, there’s simply no room for them to argue or manipulate the situation. If you skipped any of those steps... well, now you know for next time. And look, it’s your money—don't let anyone talk you into spending it on something you didn't sign up for 🙂

Does anyone have the scoop on Mayo Clinic? What’s the actual experience like there? Do they take Medicare, or is it strictly out-of-pocket? Feel free to shoot me a DM if you want to chat privately.
I accidentally misplaced Branimirov's phone number while trying to reschedule a package delivery—does anyone happen to have it handy? Thanks.
