Hi, I'm wondering if anyone here deals with this specific issue.
Is it a general sensitivity to loud noises, or is it more about certain frequencies? For instance, the screech of car brakes, silverware clinking on a plate... even kids screaming... specifically when those sounds trigger physical symptoms like ear pain, congestion, or intense pressure?
If you do experience this, how are you managing it, or have you found a way to mitigate it? 🤷
So, I asked my wife yesterday to weigh in on whether I should go with 200 mg or 400 mg of Advil.. and what does she do? She suggests a bunch of other 200 mg options entirely. Not once did she even mention Nalgesin L 😢
So now even the nurses at your doctor's office are running tests? If they aren't, you should just head to the nearest lab. Honestly, your doctor should have briefed you on this, and you really ought to have asked for details when she sent you for testing—unless, of course, you rarely bother visiting the doctor...
I’ve been mixing Neofen forte with 200 mg doses. I managed to get through the last cycle using 6 x 200 mg; I suspect the Valerian root played a part in that success.😁
Blues, maybe you’ve just built up a tolerance because you were popping pills constantly. Since these are new ones, they actually seem to be working. If I were you, I’d suggest scaling back a bit—I don't know how you handle things, but personally, I endure the pain until it becomes absolutely unbearable, then I take a tablet and wait about twenty minutes for it to kick in. Then, I repeat the cycle. I somehow manage to stomach those twenty minutes because I feel it's better to maintain some control over my actual condition rather than being perpetually under the influence. It’s not like the pain is constant all day; there are windows where it subsides, and if that happens between doses, great! Besides, I’ve dealt with endometriosis cysts and had surgery for them, so I know exactly how brutal those cramps can get. 😁
Honestly, Ali, what kind of nonsense is that? 😁 I take Vrkuta every single day—except during my period—and I’ve never had an issue. Besides, the instructions say to take it three times a day. So, I don't think Vrkuta is "slightly toxic"; I think your daughter-in-law is just being "slightly sensitive," to put it mildly. 😁
Sure, just say you’d like to get a second opinion because you heard a certain doctor or clinic is highly recommended for this specific issue, then ask them to issue the referral.
Of course, you’re free to seek a second opinion from whichever specialist you choose—provided you actually know who specializes in your specific issue.

I wouldn't touch Nemetov with a ten-foot pole. I paid out of pocket there once and the staff was incredibly rude. Honestly, if they want to act like they're doing me a favor by taking ten minutes of my time, they can just find someone else to treat.😁
steelowl9 said:Gary Kelly9, you should probably check if you have endometriosis... pain that intense isn't exactly "normal." It’s pretty brutal for me too—whenever the cramps hit, I have to grab Ibuprofen immediately. If I miss that window? I’m basically passing out—cold sweats, vision going black, ringing in my ears, plus vomiting and diarrhea all at once. Just lovely... but when the Tylenol kicks in, it's like magic; everything just resets and I can actually function again.
Yep, those are exactly the symptoms I had before my endometriosis diagnosis..
I dealt with all those pains back when my cycle was actually regular—though I suppose they just decided to quit on me or something similar. Everything was perfectly fine while I was on birth control, but ever since that medical coma... things have been weird. My cycle shortened to 21 days, everything feels off, and the PMS is relentless. BUT, I’m a believer in herbal teas and evening primrose oil (only the genuine Egyptian stuff) because it actually worked for me. And as for B vitamins? Stick to fresh royal jelly; skip the capsules altogether.
I remember one time I sent my boyfriend to the drugstore for some Ketoral Forte because I couldn't even roll out of bed. He comes back with Spasmex instead, claiming the lady behind the counter suggested it was just as good. Ugh! And this was back when you could still grab Ketoral over the counter without a prescription 🙂
Not really... my only concern is that if I run into issues getting pregnant, I might need some help with ovulation. But since that’s definitely not on the table right now, I’ll just grit my teeth and stick to raspberry leaf tea this month. Hopefully, it does the trick.😁
My cycle has started acting up again. For two days straight, I’ve been stuck on Neofen, and everything just went downhill after I stopped taking the pill. I have a feeling my ovaries are trying to clear out and causing all this havoc. Though, my gynecologist claims it’s actually just some annoying positioning issue with my fallopian tubes and ovaries—basically saying it’s just mechanical pain. Makes sense, doesn't it?
I don't think you can just show up unannounced, unless you're heading over to Brooklyn, but maybe I'm mistaken. 😉 As for thyroid hormone tests, you don't need to be fasting, but as for the other one, I'm not entirely sure.
