Don't ruin my weekend vibes, please. 🙂
Well, they totally are the priciest! I was pretty annoyed when that Triquilar deal jumped to $7.75 37, but yours are just brutal on the wallet, I guess, compared to what else is out there.
Let's get serious for a sec... it’s not about needing a ton of water, it’s more like you just need at least a little bit of liquid—any kind, really—so the pill hits your stomach faster and actually starts working. Ok?
See, hollowranger22, this is why I adore you! You just get everything! I was basically acting like a total Valley Girl during my first month on birth control, keeping everything super tight between my legs because people told me that’s how you make sure you don't get pregnant. 😁 😁 😁
John Thomas2, I’m on Triquilar myself, so I probably can't help much. My girlfriends all drink Triquilar too, otherwise I’d totally send you someone who uses Cileste, like 😢.
Come on ladies, let me know, who’s on Cileste? I totally get how you feel because I once found myself mid-weekend without my pills and lost my prescription, and my best friend was out of town from LA at the time. We had to track down another friend through a few different people just to borrow her prescription. Such a nightmare!
My experiences with female gynecologists haven't been great, but I guess you can run into a bad doctor regardless of gender. I've been seeing Dr. Husar over in the downtown area for about six years now. He runs a private practice, but honestly, he's worth every penny. When I go in, I feel like he actually has time for me... we sit down, chat about everything on my mind, and he’s just super kind and attentive. Last time I saw him—it was maybe a month ago—we talked all about HPV, mostly because I’ve read so many conflicting things about it here on this forum and just wanted the real details. Also, I used to be able to just call him up for advice sometimes, and he'd always give me at least five or ten minutes to talk so I wouldn't have to book an appointment just for one quick question. I'm really happy with him, so I'd definitely recommend him. Phone: 01-3096-827, Tratinska 27.
My first job was being a trade show hostess for the same company where I'm now the CEO's secretary. The pay was actually great, and the crew—who are my coworkers now—were awesome. Plus, the outfits, like the suits and everything, didn't bother me at all since that's just how I dress anyway.
So, went to see my OBGYN about ten days ago. I asked about switching from Triquilar—which I’ve been on for a few years now—to Logest, but he was basically like, why bother? I guess he thinks since I'm doing fine on Triquilar, there's no real reason to switch. He told me not to change things up because he can't promise I'd actually like Logest any better, especially since some women can't even handle the pills I'm currently taking. Maybe he's right, though.
I've been using Triquilar for ages and never dealt with stuff like nausea or weight shifts... but honestly, everyone’s different, so I guess what works for me might not work for someone else. Anyway, once she starts the pills, you'll just have to see if they suit her. And like those girls already said, you're pretty much certain about pregnancy from day one, so there's no need to stress too much. Just follow the directions and it should be fine. Also, it's cool to see a guy actually looking into this stuff. It says a lot about how much you care for your partner, especially since so many guys act like this is just "woman stuff" and they don't need to know anything. Toss the condoms and just enjoy yourselves!
darkbison81 said:I don't really get it, why not just change up the pill schedule? Maybe try adding a break? I guess you should probably ask your doctor instead of just guessing, so you don't end up having your period on a Saturday night when it's super inconvenient.
Yeah, darkbison81 actually hit the nail on the head there. Just shift things around so your cycle doesn't hit right during the weekend and call it a day. Like, maybe take the first pill of your next cycle a day earlier than usual, then your period should come a day early too... so it's done before the weekend starts. Easy.
Seriously guys, you're all crazy. If my boss catches me scrolling this forum during my breaks, I'm toast. I just burst out laughing like a total idiot—thank God nobody saw me. 🙏 🙏 😁 😁 😁 Please help me out here, it’s not even like some extreme situation or anything, it's not like someone's on life support. 😁
