I went twice yesterday—once a week is usually my limit—for about 10 minutes in the tanning bed. My face is looking way darker than the rest of my body, so I’m thinking of just covering my entire head next time... 😁 Has anyone else dealt with this kind of unevenness?
I noticed something today—my skin feels incredibly parched. I’ve already applied moisturizer twice... I actually forgot my face cream yesterday, so I was wandering around feeling completely dehydrated. Do you guys carry creams with you? And do you moisturize immediately after leaving a tanning salon?
Just wanted to report my experience today: I hit up a session over in downtown Chicago—went to one of those green light ones, I think. It was at least 11 minutes, which is the weakest setting, and it cost $15. Once the tanning wraps up, there’s a 3-minute cooling phase. Honestly, nobody told me half of this stuff beforehand, so I ended up being 😎 ... I’m not sure if anyone mentioned you absolutely have to strip off your makeup. They do have cotton pads, wipes, and some Nivea cleanser in the booth, though. Did anyone else deal with itching at the start? I can tell you, I was practically fighting the urge to scratch because of that intense stinging sensation, but it eventually died down by the end.
So, where are you guys hitting up for tanning? I’m planning to head in this week—currently torn between that new spot over on Sunset Boulevard or the one in Times Square.
Henry Wilson48, give me a break! You’re acting like you’ve been married to this guy for ten years already! What kind of meditation are we even talking about when your husband is fast asleep right next to you? Seriously? And you still have to hunt for stuff online... 😲 If you actually want some deep relaxation, just jump on your big lion 👍 😁
Oh, please, restlessmarlin6—even in a place like Queens, you’ve got fifteen-year-olds acting out! 😁 Don't let it get to you. If people are reacting to you like this, just take it as a compliment... it means you actually have depth and real emotions. Someone stuck in their own head with nothing but idle speculation could never trigger a reaction like this... 🙂
Some pharmacies here in the States will hand out Person without even blinking—they either grill you on why you need it or just ignore you entirely. My primary care physician actually wrote me a script for it once when I asked... I used it occasionally, and for one short stretch, I took it daily, though never quite at a dosage of three times a day. During a particularly brutal mental health crisis, I really needed it just to function—I was crying for no reason, having panic attacks... but once that specific issue passed, I didn't need the pills anymore.
Alex Foster6 said:Can a primary care doctor prescribe Person? And does this medication cause addiction?
Sure, they can—but honestly, you can just pick it up over the counter at most pharmacies without even bothering with a script. It runs about $5.25. As for the addiction part... no, not in the traditional sense, unless you count becoming hooked on that "perfect" feeling...
Forget the pills! Steep some chamomile in boiling water—keep the lid on—for a few minutes. Let it cool down for about ten. You’ll need a little bit of that, then top it up with some hot milk—soy would be better, but whatever you have works—up to about an inch or so. Sweeten it with agave or honey. Drink it while it's still hot and stay warm—under a blanket is best—so you don't lose any body heat. You can take it before bed or more often if needed. In the meantime, brew some chamomile for gargling too—just let it sit covered in hot water for maybe 20 minutes...
restlessmarlin6, honey, just remember—you are the absolute master of your own headspace. If you can sit there and visualize an entire gourmet dessert—down to every single ingredient—just because you catch a whiff of something sweet from a neighbor's kitchen, then you can definitely conjure up a positive outcome whenever you need to. When you feel that knot in your stomach tightening before walking into an awkward situation... just picture a massive bowl of strawberries and cream. Person sees this as nothing more than a little nudge toward better visualization; they provide the spark, but you have to build the fire. People might throw you off guard or drop you into unfamiliar settings, but using those simple mental images gives you the breathing room you need to adjust to your surroundings. Take a look at the sheer depth of your own mind—all those memories, insights, colors, and endless possibilities for fantasy—and then try telling yourself, "No, I can't handle this." Total bullshit. You are far too capable to surrender to such low-level defeat 😘 and so on, dear: 🙂
0.5mg of Helex is nothing to you 🙂 If you’ve never messed with stuff like this before, prepare for a wild ride. You know that weird sensation in your stomach—that knot? It just vanishes—leaving your mind feeling sharp and clear. I usually keep some on hand for big exams or when I have to present to a massive board of directors... You sound so relaxed right now that you’re actually starting to enjoy the tone of your own voice 😁
