I went ahead and downloaded it, but honestly, it’s kind of a letdown. When I jump over to an Amazon search (F10), I see options to search by artist or even by album name (?!), but for some reason, it won't let me search by the track title itself. What I'm really trying to do is have it automatically pull the album info based on those other two details 🙂. To make matters worse, I’m stuck having to enter every single song one by one—it’s just so incredibly tedious! Am I missing something obvious here? Any help would be amazing!
But how do I actually do that? I’ve got this one file where the song title and artist are already tagged correctly, but the album info is missing—and that's a pretty big deal for me! Using Mp3tag, I went ahead and automatically renamed the file to something like Queen - - We Will Rock You (I added those two dashes since the album is unknown).
So, where should I go now? I'm looking for a program where I can just select my track—or even a whole bunch of them at once—and have it automatically grab the album tag based on the artist and song title. And if it could also update the filename at the same time, that would be the dream!
First off, Mp3tag does a great job with the initial setup. Right now, though, I’m staring at this massive pile of songs that are all labeled like this:
Artist - Album - Title
The tricky part is that in most cases, I'm missing the Album info and the album art entirely. Does anyone know how I can pull that data automatically? I've already tried poking around Freedb and Amazon, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around getting it to work.
1. Is there any way to take the ID3 tags from my music files and have them automatically rename the actual files to follow a artist_album_song name format? I've been digging through both Apple Music and Windows Media Player, but honestly, I can't find a single setting that does anything close to that!
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid program that can batch-edit those three specific tag fields all at once?
3. Also, has anyone heard any rumors about whether Google might ever launch their own dedicated music cloud app? 😁
To be honest, they all look pretty much the same to me—and I’m having a tough time finding any deep-dive reviews on them! It’s frustrating when you just want to know how they actually feel. Also, those last two seem to have a vibration feature, which is definitely not something I'm looking for. Does anyone know if the SB45 has a volume slider on the cable? If it doesn't, then the SB49 might actually be the perfect fit for me. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
I still haven't tracked down any of those Kansas City products anywhere around here... It looks like I might have to order them from overseas—unless, of course, anyone actually knows where I can snag some locally? If you do, please let me know!
Honestly, how do they stack up against the Koss models? If anyone has some insight or even a tip on where I can snag a good deal on these, I’d really appreciate the help!
Hey everyone! Does anyone have a solid recommendation for some headset with a built-in mic? I’m looking to stay under $167. To be totally honest, I won't be using these for high-fidelity music listening—that’s not really my priority here. What matters most to me—and I mean *absolutely* crucial—is ergonomics. I really want something comfortable that doesn't feel like a cheap plastic prison for my head; I'd love as little hard plastic contact as possible. I'm also leaning towards something robust and sturdy—definitely those "full" over-ear styles rather than the flimsy ones that sit on top of your ears. I'm open to either wired or wireless (though I assume wired might be better if I'm trying to stick to my budget!), but I definitely need a cable that's at least 1.5 meters long. If anyone could drop a link to where I can grab them—whether it's through Best Buy or just a reliable online shop—I would appreciate it so much! Thanks in advance!
Quick question for you guys: if I want to buy something from someone living here in the States and have them ship it via a carrier, is that totally doable? More importantly—how do I protect myself if the item shows up looking nothing like what we agreed on? Like, if it’s all scratched up or clearly more worn than they said? What's the best way to go about demanding a refund in a situation like that?
Also, if anyone has a spare moment, I’d love some clever advice on how to keep shipping costs down. The item is about 350g and roughly 80x30x10cm—any tricks to minimize the price tag on postage?
It’s definitely way more straightforward—especially for someone who isn't a tech wizard, which is exactly who this was built for! Plus, I’m guessing it won't eat up nearly as much bandwidth as manually clicking through every single page one by one, right?
Does anyone know of a program that can automatically track my total monthly incoming and outgoing data usage? I’m honestly getting so tired of having to log in to various provider portals just to check the same numbers over and over again—it feels like such a chore! Also, it would be absolutely amazing if there was an option to automatically kill the connection once I hit a certain limit—say, X MB in a single month—unless I manually enter a password to override it. Does such a thing exist?
