how's that for a frustrated little lady? pretty lousy.

Exactly. Everyone just bows down to some absolute piece of trash who can't get anything right. It's funny how we all suddenly turn into geniuses once we start talking smack from the sidelines.
I’m seriously about to lose my mind over Kayve, I mean it. Look, I know taste is subjective and whatever, but to me, the whole thing just felt like some pretentious depressive trying way too hard to be edgy. And don't even get me started on the sound—if the mix hadn't been so trash, maybe the musicians actually could have sounded decent, but instead, the bass was just drowning out the vocals entirely...

But why am I so worked up? Why did the organizers drive my blood pressure through the roof? Seriously, the second it started raining, the bands just stopped playing. Then, once everyone finally got back into it, the organizers forced them to cut their sets short just so Kayve could hit his scheduled slot. The veštica played THREE songs. THREE. Go Team got rushed too. Hot Chip, same story. It was all just a massive setup to make sure "Papa Kayve" got his moment, and honestly, looking back, I almost regret being there at all. Thank God there were other acts to balance it out...

Dammit, I bought tickets to see the whole lineup, not just Kayve.

The rain didn't bother me. The mud didn't bother me. Even the overpriced beers and those endless lines outside the venue weren't the issue. It was just that incredibly stupid decision by the management. If Let 3 hadn't played right after Kayve, I would’ve gone home feeling totally depressed, probably ended up downloading all his albums and pretending I actually enjoyed it just to cope.

Great idea with the ponchos, though. Really top-tier stuff. If only they had actually handed them out to the people *in* the ponchos instead of letting soaked people stumble around in the rain asking anyone and everyone if they had a spare.

Anyway, despite all the chaos, I didn't see any major drama breaking out in the crowd, at least not from what I could tell. Everyone was actually pretty chill and acted somewhat civilly, like one big, weird, collective unit.

We'll see how tonight goes. They're saying more rain is coming. Honestly, I don't care anymore; at least this time I'll be prepared. (-:

and what even is this? some kind of autobiographical road trip?

Honestly? This movie is a total disaster. The camerawork is just embarrassing—it feels like some kid trying way too hard to look cool without actually having any technical skill. It’s amateur hour. And the directing? Don't even get me started. It’s not that "I don't care" stylistic choice that actually works; it just looks like the director was playing around with the editing software, had no clue where anything belonged, and just shoved clips wherever they could fit. It’s a mess. As for the leads, both Colin and Foxx basically did absolutely nothing the entire time. They just stood there sulking and making faces at the camera. Total waste of screen time.

The script is just plain bad. Honestly, what were they even thinking? I’ve seen better writing on a napkin at a diner in Chicago. Just... total garbage.
Yeah, right. Like two FBI guys suddenly have these flashy cars, high-level connections, and total immunity to just do whatever they want? Give me a break. As if everyone out there knows how to fly a damn plane, too. Honestly, the whole movie is just a massive waste of money. Total trash.

- directed by Shane Black, the guy behind Lethal Weapon 1,2,3 and Last Boy Scout;

Look, let me play smart for a second—he didn't actually write the whole Lethal Weapon 1,2,3 run; he just did the first one, and everything else was basically just riding on the coattails of those characters he created.

It’s an action comedy, plain and simple. What even is it? Like some kind of 21st-century Pulp Fiction? Honestly, it’s probably the funniest thing I’ve sat through in a long, long time. Look, Shane Black has always been a master at this specific vibe—nothing really changes there, he just hits his stride every single time. Nothing new under the sun, really... except maybe for Last Action Hero.

Man, I was just thinking about this the other day while staring at a lukewarm coffee... there's just one band that's actually hitting right now. They're the only ones doing it.
Look at this... every single damn commercial in America features some ice-cold Bud Light, yet they still act like we don't have our own legendary bands right here at home.

there should be a special circle in musical hell reserved specifically for stuff like this...😠 😠

Oh yeah, totally. Total chaos. The world is clearly spiraling into the gutter just because your precious little Arcade Fire—that you're the only one who actually cares about—got a bit more mainstream and bruised your ego, aaaaah...

😬

And you're calling *me* an idiot?! Hah! Give me a freaking break... 👋
Look, there are three rock-solid reasons why I can't stand this music video and why I’m not backing it for even a second.

1. You just can't go dropping "motherfucker" like it's nothing, all casual and breezy like that. It's just bad. Plain and simple. There's a time and a place for that kind of talk on the street, sure, but broadcasting pure vulgarity during prime time? That's just trashy.

2. Eminem is basically just peddling hate here. And honestly, he's doing it to himself by making it his whole brand.

Give me a break, man. This movie was painfully boring and just plain stupid. I didn't feel even a single ounce of tension in any of the scenes. It’s just a weak story that drags on forever like a slow leak, and what do you actually get at the end? Nothing. It’s not a twist, it’s not shocking—if you actually fell for it, you clearly haven't seen enough movies to know how many times this cliché has been done to death. The only thing remotely redeeming was the performance by Hurt.

Look, Saw has a shocker at the end, but this? What did you actually gain? Why sit through the whole damn thing just to realize nothing really changed from start to finish? Plus, the movie is straight-up Nazi racist.

I mean, I wouldn't go so far as to say the movie is total garbage, but you can definitely tell the writer just cobbled together a handful of random vignettes over one long weekend and called it a day. It’s basically just these scattered stories stitched together to give the lead some sort of "identity crisis" arc.

S-Kid, I’ve gotta disagree with you on the whole "slice-of-life" thing being bad. Look at As Good as It Gets—that’s just a movie about regular people dealing with regular stuff, and it’s a damn good movie. To me, it’s beautiful. I know everyone has their own taste, obviously, but still.

Honestly, we probably need more movies focused on everyday life anyway. Sci-fi just stopped hitting the mark for me after Blade Runner. Nowadays, it feels like every single flick is just empty noise or someone shouting "may the force be with you" without actually having anything meaningful to say.

The action sequences feel shallow and pretty naive.

And the drama? It’s way too hyper-focused on just one character.

But those human stories? The Paper, Clerks, Singles, Lost in Translation... those films where everything revolves around actual people instead of some self-proclaimed gods, world saviors, or beefy robots? Those kinds of movies actually have something real to offer an audience.

Not trying to start a fight here, though.

So, I just caught this concert film, and honestly? It’s actually pretty good. There’s plenty of laughs, some genuine fun, and it actually gives you some interesting stuff to chew on. But hey, even if you strip all that away, at least it isn't a total snooze-fest for once... and in this day and age, I'll take that win. 😢

Look, it’s actually kind of a win, right? It makes things way easier if I know she isn’t going to buy into my past at all—like, she'll just assume it's all bullshit anyway—or better yet, she won't even care. Honestly, what's the big deal if she doesn't care? Life's messy, people are messy, and she's just... over it? If she's got any sense, she'll just move on from the drama. So, basically, it means I've gotta put in the actual work to prove to the people I care about, or specifically to this one "right" person, that I'm not that guy... even if deep down, I totally am. Anyway, you guys are probably gonna ask if I'm the type to cheat. Hell no. If I actually feel that specific connection, that certain vibe, I'm staying loyal. For real.
