The Time Keeper in Movies ·
Alright, everyone, bear with me for a second. I just had a sudden flashback to a movie I watched ages ago—really, truly ages ago—and it was absolutely fantastic.

I think the American title might have been Guardians of Time. It features these robots and this massive dome, kind of like an energy shield, but the surface is made of hexagonal plates, almost like a honeycomb structure (if I recall correctly, 😁).

Surely someone here will recognize it.
Thanks in advance.

PS I’d love to hear what you all think about it.

Casey Palmer5 said:Honestly, even ragweed gets under my skin because some people just refuse to maintain their property, letting weeds take over everything. It’s the same deal with the local city services failing to upkeep public parks and green spaces. It’s an eyesore and a genuine nuisance. I could certainly sue them for it—does that bother me? Absolutely.
And it isn't just me; at least a quarter of Americans feel the exact same way.

I’m right there with you on the weeds; they drive me absolutely crazy! I’m convinced there should be some kind of fine for anyone letting their yard turn into an overgrown mess. I used to struggle with dust allergies too, which led me to undergo two years of desensitization therapy (if I spelled that right😁). I probably needed another three years of it, but life just got in the way.

When are we actually going to see legislation like that? Cars are arguably more toxic than cigarettes, and frankly, you can't convince me that every tiny errand requires firing up an engine. To me, the obsession with banning smoking while ignoring tailpipe emissions feels incredibly hypocritical.

The argument isn't necessarily about the total level of harm, but rather the immediate nuisance factor. When you're sitting in a pub or riding the subway, a bus, or a light rail, cigarette smoke hits you directly. But when you're crossing a street near a busy boulevard, those exhaust fumes don't feel quite as intrusive, even if they might be doing more damage in the long run. It’s simply much easier for regulators to ban cigarettes than it is to tackle the entire automotive industry.

Just wanted to double-check something here.

Look, you won't believe 😲, but it turns out 😁 actually
That’s just nonsense; games don't breed aggression. If anything, they might cause an addiction, simply because they’re actually fun.
Anorexia in Health ·
I honestly can't wrap my head around what goes on in the minds of people struggling with Anorexia; from my perspective, it seems like they simply find it impossible to eat, constantly feeling full or just generally repulsed by food altogether. At 6'3" and 214 lbs, I can safely say I don't fit that description 😁

Go get 'em, tiger! Haha, classic movie logic right there.👍

For the record, I'm firmly on the side of the Buffalo Bills.
Itchy eyes help! in Health ·
Arthur Barnes said:Does anyone else deal with "dry eyes" during the summer, or just whenever the heat spikes and the air gets really arid?

For me, it’s a constant battle; last summer I found myself washing my face twenty or thirty times a day just to get some semblance of relief.

I experience the same thing, though for me it’s more of an intense itch—and if I rub them too much, they end up swollen.

In my case, I’m pretty sure it’s being triggered by all the weeds out in the yard.
Thanks for the heads-up.

It’s certainly good to be kept in the loop on matters like this.
