Ah... well, I’m certainly nowhere near being spiritual... *snort*. Still, maybe if I hang around Alexander Parker69 and hollowviper72, I might actually reach enlightenment. Who knows, I guess.😁
I remember being at this concert once and running into this guy—one of the organizers—who basically told me that if I went home with him after the show, I’d be glowing like a neon sign by morning. 😁 I didn't go, obviously. I was an idiot. Do you think I'll ever get another shot at something like that?
I'll personally give you a piece of my mind 😁 Look, can we please just focus for a second? I came to this thread to actually read what you all have to say. I’m looking for some actual life wisdom or maybe even Enlightenment is often a difficult one (specifically regarding those energy-efficient light bulbs), but instead, I just find you guys bickering like children. It's not like I'm some Zen Buddhist master or anything; I shouldn't have to decipher all this nonsense! 😁

In that scenario, your environment is essentially calling the shots, and that's the problem. The whole idea is to use positive thinking to take control of your own life, not let everything else dictate how you feel.
noticed. The way you're describing this sounds a bit like some kind of magic trick, maybe? Just without all the actual rituals. (Look, I'm no expert, so take that with a grain of salt!)

I mean, I couldn't agree more. I honestly know exactly why and how I get sick every single time I reach my breaking point with the people around me, or even just when I'm exhausted. I guess I'm curious if anyone else feels this way—not even just feeling it, but actually being conscious of the principle behind it. I look at these women around me—mothers and wives spending eight hours a day stuck in some office, then spending the rest of their lives in this sort of domestic limbo with husbands they haven't had a real conversation with in years. Every single one of them is constantly unwell. They’re always running to the doctor, and they actually brag about it (seriously, they boast!) about their medical issues. You know the drill once the conversation starts: "Oh, I had kidney stones," or "I had surgery," or "They had to clear my sinus passages and I couldn't do a single thing for two weeks..." Good grief! But I suppose that's the only thing they have to talk about. I don't really get why, but that seems to be the reality.
She’s out there claiming you can't truly understand fire unless you actually stick your hand in it, whereas you’re arguing that you can... 😲 personally (haha), I don't think anyone needs to go sticking their hand in a flame just to learn a lesson; humans have this innate instinct that tells them exactly what's coming. As for the things we haven't instinctively mastered yet, I suppose they eventually become second nature over time, especially since knowledge is passed down through our environment, genetics, and through oral and written traditions... If every single one of us had to physically burn ourselves just to realize that fire is hot, I honestly believe we wouldn't even have electricity by now, let alone satellite technology.
I wasn't suggesting that you were implying I'm sick... it's just that, I don't know, everyone at the office has started getting on my last nerve lately, and honestly, I just can't face sitting there. So, I end up catching a cold and having to stay home in bed, and then someone always steps up to make me some tea or soup and looks after me... It's actually quite nice to just rest for a few days, and then I get back to it.
