Gold Standard by Optimum Nutrition is solid.

It’s just classic Williams—take some messy regional junk, wrap it up in fancy cellophane, and sell it off as high-brow world music. Whatever. ☕
If the guy actually enjoys it, then fine by me. But calling it genius? Not a chance!
I bet this is going to flop 🤷
maybe he'll do a duet with Halidon (Bilocojin) just to pack the arena 😁

It’s all just details. Just do whatever works for you. 🤷

Look, buddy😉 that 1.5% milk? Most of that is probably just water anyway, right? 😁

Like you said, if it makes you happy and isn't killing you, let the man enjoy his little victory. 😳

Just doing this for you, transcribing straight from my Optimum Nutrition tub:
"try adding fresh or frozen fruits, peanut butter, flaxseed oil, coconut, slivered almonds....!"

If you're drinking this post-workout, it's a bad call. Even as a meal replacement during the day, it's kind of pointless since Whey digests way too fast. Sure, adding milk and oil slows things down, but you're still just dealing with inferior casein.

It just makes the Whey taste better.😬

Why wouldn't it work after training?

German engineering for the win!

There's nothing Germans can't build, though we Americans usually figure out how to drive it or break it first. 🙏🙏

Sorry, couldn't help myself. 😁

Who cares about foam? I just toss some milk, flaxseed oil, a spoonful of honey, frozen blueberries, and a scoop of Optimum Nutrition into the blender and whip it until it's smooth. Honestly, it tastes great. 😍

@redranger82/">@@redranger82 if I just drive out to pick up that 93.89 EUR order from the local post office myself,
it feels like a pretty sweet deal for a 4.7kg tub. 👍

Optimum doesn't even foam much and tastes great👍

I'm using Multipower for now, but honestly, it's nothing compared to Optimum.
Once I finish this tub, I'm heading over to Canada to grab a 10lb bag—it's the best deal out there.🙏
Appeal for ban removal from the IT/Power User subforum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It’s pretty obvious from these posts that Jason Campbell70 isn't actually interested in keeping up with tech trends or helping out in the subreddits. He just wants to troll and mess with poor old me.

Honestly, I'm disappointed. Expected better.

So, I'm asking the admins to keep his ban in place and for the mods on NK to just lock this thread.

Thanks for listening, cheers to everyone else here on NK! 👍

Best,

Grogo B.

I get how serious this whole thing is. A few rushed calls led to this partial ban—partly my fault, but Jason Campbell70 definitely earned it.
At the next meeting of the troll corner leadership over at Safe Location 1 (SL1), I’m going to suggest we lift his ban temporarily.

For now, he’s still banned from posting in the thread chat, but he’s free to head over to the NK subforums and show us what he knows.

Best,

Look, I’m no doctor, but my advice is to just hit up your primary care physician and walk them through everything. Get some blood work and electrolyte panels done—you really never know.

I get pretty twitchy when people bring stuff like this up. I lost my grandma a few years back after she had almost identical symptoms, so now I take every little red flag seriously. Stay safe out there.👍
Kevin Chavez3 said:It was killer, honestly just wish it had started earlier or at least on schedule. By the end, I was totally wiped out and couldn't even focus... did those maniacs actually pull out an encore?

I feel you, man. You were totally zonked, what a mess. 😁

Great show. 👍Loved those soulful moments and everyone catching the vibe with their hands up. 😁
Man, Secret Chiefs 3 is seriously messing with my head regarding all the handcuffs and shackles stuff. I really need to check this out 🙏

The manual actually suggests grabbing a tape measure, marking 55cm on the wall, and then just checking the ball against that while you pump it up. 👍

hm, sounds too good to be true, honestly. but being a true American, I guess I have to stay skeptical and maintain my contrarian attitude toward anything new 🙂
this kissing thing is the best part, reminds me of reading a comic strip in The New York Post 😍
since I don't go crazy for sweets, I usually just grab a square of dark chocolate, and a few spoonfuls of sugar in my coffee won't kill me—not sure if I'll even bother. for $50, you could just buy a massive beef roast at Kroger 🙏
that stuff is more for you girls when you start craving sugar 😉

yeah.
got some inspiration yesterday, so I tossed a small can of red kidney beans (rinsed in situ, obviously) into some tuna and tomato juice, simmered it for 15 minutes, and threw in 4 little dried chili peppers. now I've got tuna chili style. 👍

pro tip: when you're reheating quinoa, splash a little water on it before you violate it in the microwave. looks like it loses all its moisture, which makes reheating a pain

quietpilot87 said:Can't believe you actually timed that. 🤣

Look, I’m a total perfectionist. Engineer brain, you know? Can't help it. 😳
Everyone in Tertana knows my deal: if I say the rest between sets is 90 seconds, then it's 90 seconds. Period. 😁

@wearyotter81/">@@wearyotter81 look, it's simple: peel the sweet potato, chop it into tiny little cubes—no bigger than half an inch—toss them in a microwave-safe bowl, and add just enough water to barely cover them. Crank the microwave to 850W for 5 minutes, then just poke at them with a fork every minute to check if they're done.
When the timer dings, you pull it out, give it one last look, and toss it into a strainer to drain. Throw it in a bowl with a pat of butter, some salt, pepper, and mash it all together with a fork. Voila—a low-GI side dish that’s actually decent. 🙏
If I’m feeling lazy and not in a rush, I just sauté some onions in butter, toss in the mashed sweet potatoes, and give it a quick sear. Instant leftover sweet potato hash. God, that's good. 🙂
I tried that at Veggie Hut once and it actually gave me some ideas. 😬

I'm a huge fan of cooking with butter. I know, I know—it’s probably not the "healthiest" move, but you need fats in your diet, and butter is perfect for helping your body actually absorb all those fat-soluble vitamins. 🙂

Goal: eat something decent for dinner without spending an eternity in the kitchen. 👍
Ingredients: 2 turkey cutlets, one medium sweet potato, cherry tomatoes
Seasoning: salt, pepper, olive oil, chili sauce, butter

Pro tip: you can actually microwave a sweet potato in like 5 minutes. 🙏🙏🙏

Just toss those 2 cutlets in some butter and sear them for 5 minutes per side. While that's happening, cook the sweet potato, drain it, hit it with a tiny knob of butter and seasoning, then mash it up with a fork.
Once the cutlets are done, pat them dry with paper towels if you're worried about the grease, then plate them up with the mash.
Wash the tomatoes, slice them in half, and throw them on the plate with a drizzle of olive oil and salt.

Drizzle some chili sauce over the meat if you're feeling it—spicy stuff helps kickstart the metabolism anyway. 👍
Total time: 13min

🙏
