It's crazy how fast things can spiral for people who lived their peak in their early twenties. You see it all the time—someone is a local hero one day and a headline for all the wrong reasons the next. Does anyone else feel like the pressure to maintain that old status drives people to make terrible decisions?

Maybe it's just someone trying to pull off that HU look... 🤷

🤷

You've been claiming since last year that he's Jesus, and now suddenly he's out there baking bread and fishing just to feed the masses...

David Martin said:You talk about a free society, yet we still have penalties....
That isn't freedom of choice if you’re afraid to drive fast because you might end up behind bars for life.
It's just rule by fear, just like every other society in history. Nothing would actually change. We'd probably just end up making the existing laws even harsher....
I don't think hiking the penalties would actually slow anyone down.
The best move would be limiting public roads to 50-50 milesmph, then building dedicated tracks where speed enthusiasts can go all out.
David Martin said:Anarchy is the perfect societal model—absolute freedom that requires absolute awareness and morality. But people are still terrified when they don't see an authority figure, a force, or a law standing over them...
Religion is the clearest proof of that.
David Martin said:P.S. Am I infringing on someone else's freedom if I rob a Macy's (closed, obviously), or if I film people secretly? If I litter? If I insult others? If I spray paint a building?
No, but that doesn't really have anything to do with morality or awareness (if that's how you look at it).
David Martin said:I don't see how that's fair. Why should a family have to pay for something they had nothing to do with? (They'll already have enough to deal with regarding funeral costs after losing a loved one)
Agreed.
It’s a solid idea. I’ve actually spent time thinking about abolishing all laws, getting rid of the state entirely, and creating this perfect world where everyone lives in peace and harmony. But after sitting with the thought for a while, I’ve realized the world just isn't ready for that yet. People are too self-absorbed; they don't care about anyone else. Is the human brain even developed enough? Maybe as we evolve, all this will fade away. Or maybe humanity will just wipe itself out first through sheer stupidity...
Since we're talking numbers, can someone explain the significance of 60659? It shows up as a constant in several quantum physics formulas I've seen. I'm not sure if it's meant to be a decimal, but those are the digits in that specific order. I tried searching online for anything regarding this number, but came up empty. Any info at all would be appreciated.
maybe...
let me know when you're free...
Does anyone happen to have the Enter Sandman DVD and feel like burning it to a disc to share?
Or maybe some links for the DVD or the maxi singles?
I can share the live Berlin DVD, all the albums, and a few singles...
The movie isn't anything special...
It's just your typical American high school comedy...
The only parts worth watching were the scenes with those hooligans from the Chicago Bears fans...
Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it...
I wasn't impressed...
