Is anyone actually listening to Heavy metal?

Has anyone heard of bands like Rhapsody? For instance... DragonForce, or maybe Wuthering Heights?

What do you mean, "heard of"...!!! 😁 —I own their entire discography...

But if I’m being honest, I still find myself gravitating toward trash music more often than not.😍

Yeah, thrash absolutely kills. Honestly, all metal rules. But if I have to pick... everything is music, sure... but take Rhapsody, for example. That’s actual art. 🙂

The likes of Exodus, Nuclear Assault, Heathen, and Demolition Hammer... though, naturally, the heavy hitters like Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer are always lurking there in the background

I’ve listened to some of those others you mentioned. A while back. Aside from this one. I’ll download that Epidemic of Violence and see what happens. Maybe I’ve heard it before, who knows? My memory isn't what it used to be.

If my memory serves me right, they played one specific track during the Destruction set... and there was this blonde in the crowd who was absolutely convinced it was their "New song." But she was mistaken—and that’s exactly where the danger lies when a person starts operating solely on assumptions. 😬 ) 😁
