We covered just about everything in that 'old' thread...
As for me, I’m constantly shaking—actually, I think I'm shaking everyone else, too... regardless of what I'm wearing, what surface I'm standing on, or even the weather...
And it doesn't stop there. Every single electronic device I own has an incredibly short lifespan... basically anything that runs on electricity.
Not to mention, whenever I try to do some hand sewing, the needle bends almost instantly.
What I suggested to Roger Cox10 was simple: homemade soup.
Usually, when you're battling the flu or a nasty virus or just a brutal cold, your appetite completely vanishes. There’s nothing quite like sipping on a cup of pure, hot soup to make things feel better.
A hearty homemade meat or vegetable broth provides exactly what the body needs to recover.
Having a reliable primary care physician is a fundamental necessity... if you actually had a rapport where you could speak candidly, she probably would have given you the same advice herself.
For instance, it doesn't bother me at all that you're posting under a different handle or that I don't actually know who vividmarlin5 is. Even if what you're saying isn't strictly true, it wouldn't matter to me—as long as reading your posts and our occasional 🙂 helps someone else gain some perspective on themselves. Once, after a manic episode, I used to go outside every once in a while just so I wouldn't be tempted to delete everything I had written... but I knew that one day, I HAD to get it all out of my system.
Living with a burden like this for years... it's incredibly difficult. It's too much. And then life just keeps piling on more weight, making every fall feel even deeper.
Karen Brooks said:That doesn't mean I'm trying to say you're sick, crazy, or anything else.
Let's be clear: there is no distinction between being "sick" and being "crazy."
If you have a toothache, you don't feel ashamed to see a dentist.
Just go back to the very first page of my thread titled 'Please' and read it. You'll see that shame, awkwardness, and the refusal to seek professional help are exactly what cause the trouble here.
I wouldn't dream of playing doctor here; you really need a professional to handle this, especially when a child is involved.
There’s bound to be an on-call pediatrician available somewhere. You might even mention that you're dealing with the exact same symptoms.
On a practical note, some Dexamethasone drops from the pharmacy could help. Just to be safe—if this turns out to be conjunctivitis—swap out all the towels and pillowcases. And honestly? Toss any mascara you've been wearing lately.

Nurse😕
And here I was thinking you were just a makeup artist.😎
Honestly, Afrodiita, I feel bad even typing this, but you either have absolutely no clue what antibiotics actually are or you clearly haven't a prayer about what you were actually sick with.
Bradley Fisher20 said:I’m going to be blunt with you. Look, Kenneth Hernandez67, you’re just putting on an act. You aren't showing the world the darker sides of yourself—the parts that aren't easy to air in public. But being honest about those flaws is exactly what's required if you actually want to make any progress.
I think you’ve got it backwards; I don't need social circles for my own sake. 🙂
Besides, I don't particularly care for your views, but I accept them as part of the necessary diversity of thought.
