As usual, the comments section is easily the craziest part of the whole article. It’s like you’re just going about your day in the real world and suddenly stumble straight into the Twilight Zone. Or maybe The Ninth Circle.

Look, you don't let a win go to your head and you don't let a loss crush your soul, Chicago Blackhawks style. It’s all about the grind and working on yourself, not just patting yourself on the back. *Labor omnia facit*.
And since I'm already out here throwing around old-school sayings 🤦 , here's one for all the keyboard warriors in this thread: *Ubi concordia, ibi victoria*—where there's unity, there's victory.

Thomas Flores7 said:Who actually pockets the cash when some non-profit association sells off?

Honestly, it’s a fair question, assuming the association isn't totally broke. If they’re sitting on debts or outstanding obligations, once everything is liquidated, that money goes straight to the creditors to cover what’s owed. Heck, it could even happen before the liquidation is fully wrapped up if the creditors agree to swap those debts for equity.
We’ve seen this play out plenty of times where major sports clubs were drowning in debt to the government or public agencies, so they just converted that debt into shares. For instance, Manchester United is reportedly sitting on something like $200 million in liabilities—I don't know the exact breakdown, though.
Now, if a sports association is actually solvent or even sitting on a surplus, that cash from the share sale doesn't just vanish into some imaginary "seller" who's dissolving the entity—it flows directly into the capital of the new corporation.

Here’s the latest official statement from the Bridge party, just so there isn't any massive confusion—since we've apparently reached a point where we just swallow everything we read as absolute gospel without using our brains or actually thinking critically for once:

I don't get it? The link is right there above. Let me say it again:

Just a few snippets:
It’s the exact same one-track mind bullshit with this new coach, too—just another case of them forcing a decision through unanimously. It honestly feels like a slap in the face to any fan with half a brain when they start preaching all this nonsense about democracy, transparency, and how independent the IO members supposedly are. It’s such a joke because anyone with eyes can see that Zdravko Mamić and his little inner circle are the ones pulling every single string behind the scenes.
The real issue here is that we’re dealing with one of Mamić's little pets. He spent years running them in circles like mindless pawns in his frantic power plays involving Dinamo and its feeder clubs, and they always scurried back to him at his every whim. They showed zero backbone, honestly—just pure, unadulterated obedience and loyalty to their masters. Apparently, in this setup, that’s the only ticket you need to move up the ladder. Just shut up and take it; actual talent or competence? Doesn't matter. It's pathetic. We've been watching this exact same brand of elitist, nepotistic rot within our political oligarchy for decades, and now, it looks like the exact same thing is infecting American soccer.

Everything seems fine, I guess. It's just that this thing actually has enough potential to be a total disaster even during a crap year. Honestly, the guys over at the bridge using that specific wording in their football press releases... they're basically using the same playbook as the BBB statements.

The American Thermopylae!
You’ve just gotta have patience... patience, sacrifice, putting up with everyone spitting in your face, and staying humble—that stuff always pays off in the end. Post nubila phoebus.
Carl Mitchell45 said:Man, there isn't even a prayer they're getting out of this one; investigators found their bank records in Switzerland, Hong Kong, everything... they're done. The brand has gone into hiding in some deep hole because they know if they even breathe wrong near America, they're finished instantly. I really hope that if this all goes down right, it marks a fresh start for the group. It’s about time the guys who "retired" or are sitting out on boycotts come back to build a solid foundation for the younger crowd. Things can only improve from here, though obviously, we shouldn't pop the champagne just yet.

There is God, sure, but keeping it on topic—their chances of a favorable outcome are basically zero. Let me go back to what I said about patience... I honestly think one reason the Department of Justice has been dragging its feet and stalling on those indictments is because they started squeezing this massive, festering ulcer and realized just how deep the rot goes. My guess is they won't stop until they hit certain political brick walls or people deemed untouchable. We're already at the edge, considering a few of these names have practically knocked on the doors of the current Government's coalition partners. We'll see.
And you should dose the euphoria too; remember how Madison Square Garden during that Los Angeles Dodgers game this summer turned into a total trap that almost swallowed up thousands of people? Naivety and underestimating your opponents always comes with a price tag.

Jonathan Cooper6 said:...what if Mamić happens to call for elections in the first month?....this guy Thomas Williams59 clearly knows his stuff, so let's hear your humble take on the election situation.....

Look, stop tagging me, man. I’ve honestly checked out of this thread, but I don't want people thinking I'm dodging the hard questions or staying silent on taboo topics just because someone might get triggered. I'm fully aware how much the current GNK leadership has worked directly against the fans and their livelihoods, and I don't want my response to be misconstrued. But hey, it's just my opinion, like everyone else's here.
To me, the whole election thing is pretty straightforward, so I don't get why everyone is freaking out or acting so frustrated. It works like any other organization—I’m a member of at least six different clubs, including some sports associations, where elections actually follow the rules. EXCEPT for this one, you know which one (the idea that they can't happen in America is such an idiotic premise)—where whoever has the most support from the members wins. Period. End of story.
Then, after a few years, you have new elections, assuming there wasn't some spasonosan deus ex machina stepping in during those first ones. BUT, at least you have a foundation, a glimmer of hope.
We aren't just talking about the initial elections and all the garbage that has to be cleared out right at the start; we're talking about the entire future of the club.
If the Head and part of the current board can sort out their conflicts of interest (private contracts and all that) and handle their legal issues before those elections, they could technically be valid candidates.
Personally, I don't think they'll or even can pull that off, but whatever. Any "their guy" could also be a valid candidate if he meets the requirements and follows the rules. We've said this before; the folks at GNK know exactly what's going on, but they couldn't care less because the current setup is working fine for them.
There might be a massive group of people pissed off about it, and maybe cosmic justice won't be served immediately, but that's just how it is. Plenty of people on "this" side of things are aware of that, and they aren't panicking or making a scene like you are.
Everything takes time to settle, but the real issue here is trying to create the bare minimum conditions just to START reaching a somewhat normal state.
And keep in mind, we're discussing an entirely imaginary and unlikely election scenario three steps ahead.
The first steps—just like in any collective struggle of people united by an Idea—are for as many people as possible to realize what it means to be consistent. You have to stand solid with the many who have been swallowing crap for all these years. You need to be constructive, refrain from constant sniping, avoid suicidal moves, stop playing armchair expert, quit the defeatism, stop longing for "the good old days" that never actually existed, and stay AWARE. You need to use your brain to understand not just the consequences of certain decisions, but what the ultimate goal should actually be. And then, if you're feeling particularly heroic, actually contribute in a way that matters.
As for this obsession with "candidates" for these hypothetical elections, it seems like people have been brainwashed into thinking that the fans themselves have to pick them and basically draft the club's entire business plan. That isn't the job of the fans, and it never will be.
There's also this notion floating around in the public consciousness that there is absolutely NOBODY in the US or beyond who would be capable of working to improve the club.
What, is the academy going to just stop producing talent? Really?
Listen, guys, I'm not going to overstretch the point, but even some faceless "Someone" who wouldn't siphon $120 million out of the club for private gain would provide enough budget to run things smoothly for a whole year just by being honest.
GNK is generating money today, but WHERE exactly is it going? If it's disappearing into someone's private bank account, then it implies all this money people are obsessed with isn't even necessary to lift the mediocre status of our league and push us toward the Champions League group stages. People are so obsessed with the "Action" and the "Deed" that...But do they seriously think the club is incapable of making a dime without Lika and Djelo?
As if only some Stalinist, Hitler-esque dictator or "The Boss" is allowed to run the show, and we all need a heads-up before that happens?
Look, the club doesn't need to be run by any "street gangs," it needs to create the CONDITIONS where, slowly but surely, actual professionals—competent, specialized people who actually care about Real Madrid—can start stepping up to run for board positions. People who would actually lead. But those conditions just don't exist right now. And those people do exist. They really do. You wouldn't recognize their names because they aren't big shots, but they're experts and they're loyal to the club, which is more than enough. Honestly, if constant whining about "The Second Tito" isn't enough for us, and we still can't trust our own intelligence or believe there are capable leaders out there without some "Duce" figurehead, then we're just peasants, and honestly, maybe we deserve to stay that way.

Instead of clearing their heads and actually working on self-improvement or contributing to the cause everyone claims to support, people just spend all day bitching, complaining, and venting in exactly the ways I described. That's what kills any real Idea, not the fact that we have to deal with moving to the Maximir camp and dancing to whatever tune they play there. Arsenal pushed a few too many buttons for some people, triggering this Pavlovian response where they’ll soon be shouting, "without caring about who sits in the boardroom or getting bogged down in club politics or management." It’s pure peasant mentality: "Let's salute the Third Reich without worrying about the concentration camps." Jumping up at every goal? How is that supposed to guarantee anything or build a future for a legitimate club? Even if we ignore how much that disrespects the actual, long-term victims of such regimes—at which point we aren't even talking about sports anymore—it's just straight-up bullshit.
What we're talking about here is a completely different plan and vision. Some people won't bother with it, fine. I just don't see why they feel the need to shove it down everyone else's throats as some kind of spasonosan deus ex machina solution.

Don't come for me, I'm ready to just step back and leave everyone alone, though I realized a long time ago I'm irrelevant to this whole thing anyway. My mouth just gets the better of me and I end up "explaining" the obvious for the hundredth time. Thanks.

casualmarlin27 said:... man, seriously, think about what happens to the group if we ever move back to the main stadium... honestly, you don't even have to overthink it, just look at how things went down not too long ago and it's all crystal clear... I'm talking specifically about that stretch right after the boycott... attendance was okay for a few games, then it just started a steady slide downward... eventually, there were only like 150 people left on the east side... and you can't even blame anyone who gave up in the meantime, because the whole vibe became totally unbearable... every single time, there was a higher chance of ending up in a jail cell than actually making it back home... just remember when they were hauling people away just for not sitting in their assigned seats... why are we even still debating this??
and you really think it wouldn't be the exact same script if we tried again?? I'm positive it would be...
and then what??

plus, I know you'll agree that it's freaking hard going to games when you aren't even rooting for your own club... and our situation has been stuck like this for a long time... half the crew is rooting against us, while the other half just doesn't give a damn about the score... I'm the first guy to show up for Los Angeles FC just because of the group... and I'll admit, it doesn't exactly help my reputation. It’s a total disaster that the group feels more important than the club itself, but that's the reality right now, so screw it...

one more thing... I get that indoor soccer doesn't put any actual pressure on Mamić, but let's be real, having 150 people on the north or east stands wouldn't mean anything to him either...
and that damn indoor soccer stuff you guys hate shouldn't even be viewed as a factor in fighting Mamić; look at it as just a spot where people can hang out normally, mess around, grab a drink, and cheer without getting harassed by the cops... and it's definitely a place where kids can get sucked into the whole supporter culture, which means the group actually has a future...at the end of the day, the players have certainly earned their support based on how they've acted so far......

Yeah, that's it. Like I said, don't get lost in the weeds here. I'm signing off from this thread 🙂

Jonathan Cooper6 said:God damn it... we aren't even doing anything.

BtBB, man, you really went ahead and canonized defeatism as your final stance, didn't you? Look, I'm not in charge of anyone and I'm certainly not obligated to weigh in—honestly, by custom, I probably shouldn't even be typing this—but:
- Even I know there actually EXISTS a "main" organization, and it’s at a specific physical location where you always find plenty of relevant people. You can always show up, ask questions, and eventually work out a meeting with whoever you want regarding your ideas. So, saying there isn't one is just plain wrong. What, does it only count if there's a bar serving drinks?
- It is crystal clear that whatever is crawling around Maksimir is NOT Dynamo, and that whole analogy about your girlfriend being replaced is totally off base. The point is that your actual girlfriend was swapped out for some monster that's just pretending to be her. It's like if your country was occupied by, say, a rogue militia, and they just left the name "USA" hanging there and expected you to salute the flag. You don't salute a state like that; you don't support it at all. Even if a regime is super successful, builds massive highways, and launches people into orbit, those things aren't enough of a reason to overlook pure evil.
EVEN IF you weren't being shut out from hundreds of important people and facing all this repression (which, let's be real, a lot of people mock while acting like it doesn't affect anything), you still DON'T allow yourself to be used as window dressing for Kidnappers, especially if they're just waiting for your obedient little arrival to say, "See? Everything is fine." Instead, you fight for the real, true, and legitimate nation. You do it through whatever means you can, even if it costs you, just to avoid being a mindless puppet for the Kidnappers.
I'm not against anyone going to the stadium, but some groups of people seriously need to understand why they are there and whose interests they are actually serving.
YES, it’s a much bigger loss than having a mass of people who "don't want to get involved," and it’s way more fuel for the occupier when you just bow your head and cheer because "well, it's still our Dynamo," compared to all the repression and the resulting drastic selection—which, hey, hasn't any guerrilla struggle ever worked differently?—of the most persistent souls currently happening.
In the history of Dynamo fans, there have been hundreds of times where huge crowds just wandered aimlessly, only caring about grabbing a beer and causing a little ruckus in the name of this vague concept called "Dynamo." What good is a crowd like that to you? What would you even do with them? How is that supposed to help heal Dynamo? What's your actual plan?
If you say, "that's just how it's always been," I'll tell you how it looks to the kids today: they don't seem ready to be just another mindless generation that comes along, passes through, gets wasted, and breaks a few things for fun. They have a legitimate right to that rejection they've imposed on themselves, and even to radicalism.
- It is legitimate, and obviously, it's okay to cheer against what is currently being called "Dynamo"—and I'm not stopping anyone from enjoying that. In fact, doing the first thing is almost more natural, just so you don't forget what the actual goal is.
Whether it's idealistic or not.
If you're so desperate to get involved and full of all this enthusiasm, why wouldn't you rather help the kids, man? Even if it's just a tiny fraction of helping them turn their utopia into something real, instead of just offering them dry criticism and suggesting the solution(?) is a mass of people cheering for "Dynamo" and everything will just fix itself?

Peter Reed22 said:A handful of you guys have been labeling the Bad Boys as savages or insurgents just because they decided to back Real Madrid and show up at the stadium. Don't go changing your tune just because the wind shifts.

Where exactly are you seeing a BAN? I was talking about paranoia—how people think someone is forbidding them from doing something. When an individual has their own private opinion on a topic, say regarding some radical political movement, and names those who support it, are you going to tell him he can't have that opinion? Is he actually banning you from anything?
My take, and I’m definitely not the only one thinking this, is simple: who is even stopping you? Just go out there and cheer. Honestly, I was hanging out on the East Side yesterday myself, though I wasn't there with any hardcore fan intentions. Look, if you’ve got some fresh, genius advice on what hasn't been tried yet—maybe some airtight legal strategy to somehow, I don't know, safely tear down the steel fences separating the premium North section while simultaneously neutralizing police lines 🙂—and you want to share that expertise to actually help the club or the group, you know where to find me. But let’s be clear: that conversation is NOT happening on this forum.
Stop being so bitter while you're busy handing out unsolicited advice and lectures in all the wrong places. Either just enjoy the game, cheer, and do whatever you want.
And please, stop quoting me like I can just walk away from this idiotic debate whenever I feel like it.
Peace.
P.S. I’ll just say this: stop looking down on the kids. They’re way more enlightened than my generation and the other reckless fans who couldn't be bothered to understand half of this. They give everything and ask for nothing. It’s honestly a miracle there are so many of them, because unlike the easy-going generations before them, they don't care about escapism; for them, it's all about the ideal, total devotion, and pure grit. You should respect that instead of spitting on them like a bunch of old-school losers. These kids are the exact opposite of the "group is dying" crowd; they are the only healthy part of the Real Madrid culture we've seen in decades.
Over and out.

Bad Boys in Fans ·
When someone hits you with that whole "if you aren't with us, you're against us" cliché, I just look them dead in the eye and tell them they're being ridiculous. Then, if you actually sit there and try to wrap your head around why they're acting like that—mostly because they can't see any other way out—you end up swallowing your pride just to offer a hand. Because, honestly, you realize they’re fundamentally headed in the right direction. That’s exactly how I handled things once upon a time. People who don't get that are usually just waiting to pull that classic American silent treatment or throw some armchair criticism at everyone and everything; those people who act all offended and then refuse to step up or get involved... man, they still have so much growing to do, and I really don't see why we even need this many people here just to constantly lecture one another.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
And this whole "harming the Group" argument is honestly up for debate, despite all the crackdowns and people trying to force everyone into line... I’ve never seen a better generation of BBB fans—actually, generations of them now—with hundreds, sometimes even thousands of young people who actually GET the world they live in and truly understand what the Club and its ideals mean. They are way ahead of those old, broken, and basically washed-up "just roll with it" generations whose misery you’re describing up there. I know plenty of losers like that in my own circles and among my own generation of Dinamo fans; I can spot them a mile away just by listening to them talk. These kids, though, based on everything from their guts to their willingness to stand up for an ideal against the entire system, are the real deal and the only actual future we have. Even if it's just a few hundred or maybe a couple thousand out of everyone, that's still a MASSIVE percentage when you look at the general population and how many people actually grasp reality or have the capacity to shake things up with nothing but their own wits.
I’d go as far as to say they’re some of the best examples of their generation, period. They grew up in a system that was, at the very least, a tiny fraction as totalitarian as ours, so they aren't so easily conditioned like us dinosaurs to just bow our heads, shrug our shoulders, and happily settle for whatever crumbs get tossed off the table to keep us occupied. THAT is why the Club has spent years being "someone's John Doe." You're preaching that dinosaur conformist ideology, while the rest of us were pushed to the sidelines on the East Coast and West Coast, raised to hunch our backs and clap quietly. Those days are, thank God, over and finally fading away.

Yeah, exactly. It’s easy as pie.Honestly, you really don't have a single legitimate reason to even bother arguing with people who actually live for an ideal. Like, why even waste the breath?
Look, nobody is stopping you from hanging out with your buddies on the East Coast and arguing that Real Madrid has always been everyone's little bitch—so what? Honestly. It’s like how America was just some playground for different empires for decades because most people weren't exactly itching for a fight, while the tiny minority that actually woke up every once in a while kept getting shut down by the establishment, just like how all the opposition voices get dismissed today. But hey, eventually, a free America happened. You should probably just take it on the chin like everyone else does and let the people who actually want to do the dirty work handle it. I really don't see why you keep insisting to them that you don't get it or that you're totally against everything they stand for. Just stop.
Look, it’s pretty damn obvious, isn't it? I don't know how you can possibly miss the point when it's staring you right in the face. 🙂
