Sensitive skin tips? in Health ·
Of course you can find them at Walgreens 😬
If anyone happens to know where else they stock those Freeman little treats, please let me know!
I think Sebamed is also available in some health food stores—there might be one over on Broadway if I'm remembering correctly
And Aromatica has some of those 'natural' creams and things like that over in the old district
Ulta Beauty

Maybe give Sebamed a shot 🙂
What about Dr. Bronner's or maybe Alverde?
Would you check out Ulta Beauty?
Or maybe Lush?
Tea, honey, and Brita... in Health ·
I suspect the price of those carafes might just depend on how old the specific models are,
though I can't be certain. If you happen to pass by that little boutique tea shop over near the corner—you know, the one with the hunting horn logo? They carry all sorts of things, including white and green teas 😬 so maybe give those a shot
if you get a chance. There's also that specialty shop over in the older part of town that focuses on really aromatic, fine loose-leaf varieties
. I'm guessing you might be used to just grabbing tea bags from the grocery store, 🙂 but honestly, you should try some of these loose-leaf options 😬 because you'll really notice the difference
once you do. I suppose they could be a bit much for some people because of the caffeine content, though I think there are plenty of herbal options without any of that
. Have you thought about honey?
Just a heads-up, though: don't add it while the water is still boiling, since it might lose its nutritional benefits
. Enjoy!

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) in Movies ·
I happened to catch this movie on TV last night

Unfortunately, I drifted off right when the old man was making his escape from the hospital, so I missed how it all wrapped up. But from what I managed to see, it seemed 👍
Is my heel bone growing? in Health ·
I think you might be a bit too young to be dealing with a bone spur like that, so your best bet is probably just heading to a specialist and getting some imaging done, like an X-ray or something.
My mom actually deals with this exact issue, but since she’s in her 60s, doctors have basically told her, "Look, ma'am, we can't exactly reverse the aging process."
There are a bunch of different ways to treat it, though I guess surgery is definitely the most intense option because, well, it hurts and the recovery time is pretty brutal.
Some people mention that the bone growth could potentially trigger issues like flat feet or extra pressure on your joints, or something along those lines.
Anyway, just check in with the doctor 🙂

Need help with some psychology terms in Psychology ·
Well, here goes nothing😁

Believe it or not, I’m actually working on translating a book about performance
I really wanted to say thanks for the help 🙂 since I don't know the first thing about personality psychology or how all these specific terms work in American English

The author brings up this 'materialist theory of psychiatry...' thing, so I'm honestly not entirely sure what they're getting at there, but then they move right into talking about the unconscious, belief systems, and animism

Could someone maybe help me out with the translations for these specific terms? I'd really rather not spend my entire weekend digging through library stacks and old textbooks if I can avoid it 😁

reverse drive
pleasure principle
pre-linguistic trauma
material theory
how is Freud's 'Beyond the Pleasure Principle' usually translated
