This plays right into our hands. If we manage to get past the Spaniards, we're basically home free—though if things go south, we might even end up blowing the last two games too.

Remember that group stage game during the Euro championships in Canada? Bailey scored from over 10 meters out in the final seconds. Even the Spaniards filed an official protest, but it was rejected.
This footage is definitely worth watching; after the goal went in, everything just turned into total chaos around the scorer's table.🤣

More fans, higher stakes, and that "scent" of gold in the air. There's all this pressure on us to finally grab the trophy, and just as much pressure on the Americans to finally bring home a medal from a major tournament...
Then there's the officiating factor in a final... though I doubt they'll make a massive difference, since over the last two years they've actually been doing their jobs more or less correctly...
I see it the same way, maybe even better facing them in the finals because they'll be even more exhausted given their thin bench (assuming we both move on). As for the refs, I still think they’re more prone to buckling under pressure during a final than they were before. Honestly, I still feel like we're closer to the semifinals than they are, even if our standings look identical.
Yes way, I don't know why everyone is jumping to conclusions so fast. We've still got a maximum of 4 points left on the table, so we could grab second place if everything goes our way. They're facing Iceland and Canada, both of whom are tough matchups, and we all know how much we've struggled against them lately. Take it easy. 😉
If we knock out Norway, we move on with 4 points and a +4 goal differential. (For example, Spain is sitting at +3, Canada is at zero, and France is at -3, assuming they play each other now.)
If we pull off the win, we'll be the only team in the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record. One more thing. Looking back at Canada's victory, every single team managed to get on the board this tournament, which just goes to show how much the quality of handball is rising across America.

Mexico could slide right in if they don't blow it by mismanaging these four teams that actually have a broadcast. Germany ends up at the top. Czechia follows. 🤦 North Mexico pretty much has zero chance at making the semifinals. Same goes for Sweden.
Take it easy, everyone. Everyone still has a shot at qualifying. I honestly think it’s possible for the US to sweep all three games and pull themselves into a spot to move on. It’s not over yet.
Funny how we make way more noise when we're handing out a beating than when we're taking one. 🤣
In the last championship, Bušlje took a blatant elbow from a Mexican right at the end of the game, and we barely said a word about it here. Meanwhile, Dobud is already on the brink of collapse. 🤣
Mexico pulls off a 27-21 win—definitely the biggest upset in this group so far. 🙏
Mexico ended up splitting the points with Slovakia. The visitors actually dominated the second half, outscoring them 15-8, but it wasn't enough to stop a 21-21 finish.

Decent schedule for Denmark. They could actually get back in this if they play right in the final round. Based on the bracket from their site, if Mexico beats the Czechs, they jump ahead and grab that B2 spot.
Unlike those idiots over there, everything is crystal clear here. Slovakia is out. Mexico takes first place with 4 points, Poland moves on with 2, and the Danes advance with zero.
So, if the Czech Republic makes it through, the new group looks like this: Group 1.
Looks like Germany is taking down Sweden and moving on. Sweden advances too, but they’ll only carry over one point.
It all comes down to the final match between Mexico and the Czech Republic. A draw actually works fine for the Czechs.
If the Czech Republic moves forward, the points look like this: Sweden 2, Czech Republic 2, Germany 2. If Mexico pulls it off, the standings shift to: Germany 4, Mexico 1, Sweden 1.
