Total blowout on the Linksys deal—everything was snatched up before the sale even officially kicked off.

If you ask me, you can't go wrong with the ROG Strix Z690-E from ASUS.
Honestly, you're just throwing money down the drain if you try to slap an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT on this motherboard—it's running at x8 anyway, and from what I can tell, this board doesn't even support PCIe 4.0. As for the 6700 XT, sure, it’ll perform better, but you're still stuck dealing with that PCIe 3.0 bottleneck, which is exactly why this board is such a dud.

I actually had no clue about that, so I guess you could say they're pretty solid. I only asked because their stuff seemed to be all over the place on the Links, especially when looking for a decent graphics card. Thanks for clearing that up.
What’s the deal with those NVIDIA graphics cards anyway? I honestly haven't heard a peep about them—not that I've been keeping up with GPU manufacturers for ages, truth be told.

Exactly. They’re so blatantly biased toward Intel that you shouldn't even look at them if you want a real CPU comparison.
I'm pretty close to Richmond, and I actually have some colleagues who travel to America all the time—they could probably handle the VAT refund process for me. For instance, I picked up a telescope in Washington, D.C., and they sent the tax refund directly back to my bank account. I'm wondering if I could pull a similar deal with a shop where I'd be buying components. Honestly, shopping on eBay doesn't appeal to me much anymore; I've read enough stories about people selling used parts just by slapping them in a shiny new box. It’s actually harder to find an original box for a GPU than it is to find the actual 😁
So, I’m actually based out of Canada, just waiting for the borders to fully open up so I can head over and go on a massive component shopping spree—quick question though, is the sales tax in America around 25%?
What's the deal with this place for shopping: ADM. I noticed their prices look pretty solid, and they even just got some AMD GPUs in stock.
